Chapter 10
The new day came fast for Pavel, the boy even couldn't have some sleep as he came to his dorm he started to read the letter, which was given by Asagi herself. Reading it Pavel was surprised a lot; he found that his family is going to visit him near time. Pavel was happy and confused at the same time. He wasn't ready to this, even his best friend was going to visit him, and that news wasn't merry for him.
'Man, he will start to tease me along with brother about the girlfriend.' Pavel sighed walking by the streets of Gosha Village, 'How am I supposed to find a girlfriend with such job? I would like to see how they tried to do that.' Pavel went deep inside his thoughts, 'Maybe it would be better to ask someone from the class to play the role of it? I'd like to ask Ren, but I don't think she will agree for that.' Pavel sighed, 'Maki is with Aki, so that variant brushes aside. Maybe Mai or Masami?' Pavel stopped for a second, 'I can talk with Mai, but Masami, it won't be good to ask her after what happened with her boyfriend, and how about Rinko? I don't think she will reject, but at the same time I don't know will she agree?' suddenly Pavel felt how something touched his back.
"Earth to Pavel! What are you thinking about?" Pavel heard a female voice behind him, the boy turned around and saw Maki, who was as energetic as always.
"Oh, Maki sorry, nothing special." Pavel smiled to her.
"Really?" the girl looked at him, "But is seemed vice versa from the other side." she chuckled, "Maybe thinking about have a personal mission with Ren?"
"Yeah, something like that." Pavel sighed.
"Really?" Maki was surprised that her guess was correct, "First you must finish your studying in order to do so." Maki chuckled again.
"Maki, how do you think if I ask Rinko or Mai to play a role of my girlfriend will they agree?" Pavel suddenly asked her.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Maki was puzzled with such question.
"Huh?" Pavel turned to the girl, his eye became widened, 'Damn, did I ask her that?! What an idiom!' Pavel cursed himself in his head, "No, it's nothing don't think about it?"
"I thought you were thinking about Ren, has she rejected you or something?" Maki looked at him with wondered eyes.
"No, there nothing like that." Pavel replied immideately, "Well, can you keep secrets?" Pavel looked around in order to find were there any of their friends or not, Maki nodded and prepared to listen to her friend very attentively, "Well, my family is going to visit me soon and one of my friends from Russia is coming with them, and I have a bad feeling that I'll be teased that I don't have a girlfriend, so I wanted to find someone who could play such a role."
"Why not to ask Ren since you thinking about her?" Maki asked him.
"I don't think Ren will agree for that, after all… She is not from people who like pageants."
"Yeah, our Ren is like that." Maki nodded, "I don't know about Mai, but it'll be bad idea to ask Rinko about that." Maki continued, "She is a diligent girl so she will reject it not even thinking."
"Got it." Pavel replied, 'Good that I asked her first.'
"And what about Masami? As I see, you started to make contacts with her, so why not to ask her?"
"Well, I don't want to bother her with that." Pavel responded, "I don't think she will be glad of that idea."
"Kids! How are you doing?!" the students heard a merry voice on their right, they turned their heads and saw Sakura Igawa, who was slowly walking to them.
"Oh, sensei good morning." Pavel replied to her.
"Morning sensei." Maki replied to Sakura too.
"It's unexpected to see you without Aki." Sakura looked at Maki, "And you without your Russian team, have you decided to have some free time only for yourselves?" Sakura grinned.
"Sensei, nothing like that!" Maki protested, "We've just encountered each other."
"I see." Sakura continued grinning, but then came to Pavel, "By the way, where are your team, I thought you always should come together."
"Ilya is coming for a second lesson, Maria Sergeievna hasn't got lessons today, and Oleg Semenovich is in academy now."
"I see, I hope you didn't forget we are going to the resort after the second lesson?" Sakura looked at them.
"After the second lesson?" Maki's eyes became bright.
"Yeah, you'll have only two lessons today, so you can be relaxed." Sakura chuckled over Maki's question, "Well, I'll go first so I can prepare everything, after all I'm the captain during that trip." and then Sakura ran forward to the academy.
"Well, it'll be good to have some free time out of these bastards from that law." Maki stretched her arms, "I still can't belive that just one organization could make so much noise in no time, I think even NOMAD didn't make anything like that. And its members are really the pain in the ass."
"Yes, they're always can surprise, I hope they will do nothing, while we're on our vacation." Pavel sighed.
They continued their way until they reached the gates of the Gosha Academy, by them they encountered Aki and Rinko, who were talking about something and in no time they saw Ren along with Mai. The group started to speak about something energetically, while Pavel, on the contrary, was thoughtful. Ren noticed it and then came abreast with him.
"Something happened?" Ren asked him watching at him, "If you don't feel well just go to the sick-room."
"No, nothing to worry about." Pavel answered her, "Just thinking a little."
"If something bothers you just tell, I'll listen and maybe give you an advice." Ren replied him, her glance was serious and at the same time helpful.
"Didn't expect you will offer me your help." Pavel smiled and then chuckled, "As I remember you were distrustful towards not long ago."
"If you have nothing to say, I'm going." Ren didn't like that attitude.
"Wait." Pavel, quickly understood he did a stupidity, "I didn't mean anything bad, I'm just glad to see you started to trust us." Ren looked at him again, "I was just thinking about the upcoming trip, nothing more."
"I see." Ren said, "It's just a mere trip, so you shouldn't worry too much about it, if you want I'll show you there everything."
"Have you already been there?" Pavel looked at Ren.
"There's special training camp for Taimanin, so some of us were there several times." Ren answered to him, "It's a good place to train and at the same time to rest."
"I see." Pavel nodded, "We have something like that in Russia too, but we have two locations one for training, and the other one for vacations. I preferred to visit the first one."
"Do you like to train a lot?" Ren looked at him.
"Of course, I do." Pavel replied to her, "I'm not a fanatic in it, but still for us it's important to practice combat skills, by the way, can I ask you something."
"What is it?" Ren looked at him; she heard how the boy's voice became low.
Pavel was silent for the first seconds, but then replied, "No, never mind." Pavel gripped the strap of his bag and went faster.
'Strange.' Ren thought, "Has he got up from the wrong leg?'
"Akiyama." they heard a voice behind them, the friends turned around and saw, Igawa Asagi herself, "I have to talk to you, come with me for a minute." Asagi said to the elder Akiyama.
Rinko nodded to her, and left the company fast. Pavel felt uneasy himself, he quickly understood Asagi wanted to talk to Rinko about Yukikaze and Tatsurou. So he deepened in his thought more, thought he was glad Asagi didn't get, they helped to those two to join 'Red Division'.
"The first lesson is music, am I right?" Maki asked her friends as she forgot what they had first for today.
"Yeah, then demonic biology." Aki informed his girlfriend.
"Man, even today, this lesson." Maki moaned, "I hate to right everything what Oleg-sensei tells." then she looked at Pavel, "Pavel, will you give me your summary after it?"
"I right only everything important, so if you want to rewrite everything you should ask someone else."
"How good for you to know the course, you cannot put down absolutely everything." Maki complained.
"Your truth, but still even I don't remember everything, so that's why my notes are abrupt."
"Maki, how will you be a veteran Taimanin not knowing such important knowledge?" Aki asked Maki, his voice was lecturing.
"All hunters become well-known in battle, so I'm just to do my mission successfully and help the young one and I'll become it." she chuckled.
The team went further to the needed class and was chatting about everything. On their way they met some teachers and when they came to the needed place they saw Oleg Semenovich, who quickly left the classroom, heading somewhere else.
"As I noticed he started to chat with Hirata-sensei quite much." Maki looked at the teacher's route, "How do you think are they dating?"
"Maki, don't sneak into the life of other people." Aki said to her, "It's not polite, how many times I should tell you that?"
"You're boring, Aki." Maki sighed, "You should be like me from time to time, at the same time, if that's true we should be happy for him, maybe she will melt his heart a little." Pavel chuckled at this statement, Aki gave up too and smiled at her statement, Ren didn't show any expression at this joke, "How do you think what will we do today here?"
"I hope we'll play some instruments." Pavel said, "I'd like to try piano or at least violin."
"I like drums more." Maki didn't share the point of view with Pavel, "The way I hit them is really calms me down."
"You should hit them every day with such point of view." Mai said to Maki.
The team laughed at this statement even Ren smiled too.
The students took their places. Chikeko was sitting on her casual place in front of the students, when the last student entered the classroom, Chikeko got up from her place, she fixed her gray skirt and turned to the class.
"Boys and girls, today we will practice our playing with violin, I hope everyone is okay with that." Chikeko said to them, "We didn't practice it for a long time, so I hope you won't mind at all." Chikeko glanced over the class and continued, "Maki and Shig I hope you know you don't like them so please don't break it." Chikeko looked at Maki and at the boy with black hair with yellow eyes, "We'll make it more interesting today, we will have a little competition, the one who will play best will choose to pay next instrument."
"Sensei, why should we do that?" the boy with green hair, Kimura, asked the teacher, "We all know who will be the winner." the boy looked at Masami.
"Andou will take part too, but she won't be the competitor of yours." Chikeko looked at the mentioned girl, Masami only nodded, "I'm not a tyrant to put you in playing with her." she chuckled and then came to the violin which was lying on the table, there were two of them and she took one of them, "You'll go out in two to the stage and will play them, then the two other two comes and do the same is everything clear?" she looked there was no hands so she decided to start, "The first ones are Sato and Maeda." two girls went out of their places and took the violins. They started to wait for the teachers command, "You can play whatever you want, but the most important thing is that you're to be fluent and careful in making music, likewise you're waiting for you target, in the shadows." Chikeko went to her place and nodded to the girls to start.
The first one was Maeda Kin; her hands were holding the instrument softly. Her fingers were carefully running by the strings of the violin and the fiddlestick was carefully running by them too. She was playing some thoughtful melody. It was full of strange mystery and vague, however it was with a little sing trap. Maeda stop playing after in two minutes letting Maki to play.
Maki pressed the fiddlestick over the violin and started to play too. However her play was an entire mess.
"Please, just take the instrument out of her hands!" someone shouted out of the class.
"Maki stop doing that noise!" Shig joined him too closing his ears to protect them from that noise.
"You're not better." Maki responded to the black haired boy, "If you think you're that cool go and play." Maki put the instrument and went to her place; Maeda did the same with chuckle.
The lesson continued, the next pare was Ren and Mai. Ren's music was calm and serious, however her skills were not as good as Maeda's ones. Mai on the contrary was quite good in the playing and several students had even fallen listening to it. Aki showed his skills not as good as Mai, but better than Ren. The music of every student was peculiar and personal; they expressed their emotions paying it. And one of the next pairs, were Pavel and Masami.
"Who will be the first one?" Chikeko asked them with un concealed interest.
"Ladies first?" Pavel smiled to the girl he was helping.
Masami nodded.
"Man, again her sad music." Shig was whispered by some student behind him.
"Yeah, like always." Shig responded.
Masami didn't pay much attention to them she pressed the fiddlestick to the violin's strings and started her play. All students were surprised and astonished when they heard her playing. It wasn't sad at all, Masami's play was soft and in some ways merry. The girl quickly moved with the fiddlestick. Her eyes were closed, and left the reality at all. Chikeko was shocked of it too, her eyes were widened.
'Her play… It is not a pageant.' Chikeko looked at Masami's face, 'Could Pavel really helped her?'
Masami continued her play for five or so minutes. When she opened her eyes, she saw confused classmates. She said nothing, but only nodded to Pavel.
"I don't think I'll be able to rival with you." Pavel said to her, "Sensei, can I give up?"
"Not even having a try?" Chikeko chuckled, "Come on, I don't think you're as bad as Maki or Shig."
"Not funny, sensei." Maki, put on a semblance she was hurt with her words.
"Well, let's try." Pavel took needed state and started to move with the fiddlestick
Pavel's hand and fingers were moving fast, and every note he did was full of emotions. The music was mysterious and in some places cold, but then started to become merrier and returned in the same state. The boy's paly charmed all students even Masami and Chikeko were surprised of it.
'His play the violin is much better than the piano.' Masami thought admitting the boy's skills.
Pavel stayed in the same position, for some time, and when she was about to finish he did a well sounded false.
"Always hated that place." Pavel grunted and instrument onto the table, "I think I'm not suit for it."
"You're wrong." Masami said to him, "That music was really interesting and thrilling, the place you played was hard to play, even a skillful musician could do make a mistake there."
"Andou is right." Chikeko smiled, "Where did you learn that music?"
"Well, in Russia we all have to know it." the boy answered, "We are to play it at least on one instrument during the education, I decided to study its playing on the violin."
"I see." Chikeko said, "That music is really interesting, I'd like to see it's notes, can you make them?"
"I'll try to find them." Pavel responded to the teacher and went to his place.
"You've heard the playing of each other, so, whom will you choose as a winner?" the teacher asked the class.
The class debilitated for a moment and then Maeda got up and answered for it.
"We decided Pavel to admit as a winner, if Masami said that that he is good we will follow her advice."
"So it's your time to choose the instrument you all will play next time." Chikeko said to him, and you choose.
"Drums! Drums! Drums!" Maki exclaimed.
"I'll choose drums." Pavel nodded with a smile, "It's interesting to see how Maki will play it."
'Interesting, why I'm needed to sensei?' Rinko thought following Asagi
Rinko followed Asagi being silent; the purple haired girl didn't know why the principle needed her at such early time. However, she decided not to ask the teacher in people, she knew when Igawa Asagi calls that must be something really important. So the girl decided to know everything on the place.
Asagi was walking with increased pace, and Rinko didn't fall behind. The principle's face was serious and gloomy. Asagi was thinking of how to say Rinko the news of her friend and brother. She always told bad news to students, but it always was difficult for her.
After sometime they finally reached the principal's office. Asagi took her places and ordered Rinko to sit too. Asagi took a deep breath and started.
"Rinko, I had bad news for you." Asagi started with a gloomy face and voice, Asagi did a pause, "I hope you'll try to accept them calmly. Tatsurou and Yukikaze were captured tonight during their mission." Asagi started, "According to the report, they were captured by 'The Third Law'."
"What?" Rinko couldn't belive to her own ears.
"It's truth." Asagi sighed heavily, "Right now we're trying to find one of their trails. I've already sent the group for their rescuing."
"I must join them too." Rinko said with a risen voice, she tried to stay calm, but it was difficult to her.
"Rinko, I understand your feelings, but please, think twice; in such state you'll only be meddle to the rescue team."
"Sensei, we're talking about my brother and our best friend!" Rinko couldn't stay calm, "I'm the one who must be in the squad to rescue them! As I know you always saved your close people personally." Rinko said the last part more indecisively, but still tried to seem firm.
"It's another case." Asagi replied her calm, "These criminals are overly dangerous, if it were someone of NOMAD, I would think about it, but to send you are being emotional, it is very dangerous."
"Sensei, I won't be an obstacle to the rescuing squad." Rinko decided to express less emotion in order to make the principle to belive that she is fine, but it was difficult for her.
"Rinko, Asagi got up, I promise you we will find Tatsurou and Yukikaze, I vow with my own name." Asagi looked at her with serious eyes, "I did a mistake with Shiranui, I won't make it twice. I've sent best Taimanin to find them; they're Kuro, Rin, Kurenai and Ayame."
"Then why did we create the squad to interrupt their activity?" Rinko voice started to tremble, "Does it mean nothing?!"
"Rinko, it was made in order to oppose them in direct battles, but not during the situations, when we don't know where we should start searching." Rinko replied nothing, "I promise, if the squad tells my presence is needed, I'll go and save them myself." Asagi added after a brief pause.
"Were they on a mission alone?" Rinko asked her.
"No they were with Hirata sensei." Asagi replied, 'It'll be better not to tell they were with Pavel too. In such state she can make unneeded circumstances.' Asagi frowned.
"I see." Rinko mumbled.
"According with her report, she barely could escape from there." Asagi said.
"Sensei." Rinko suddenly interrupted the teacher biting her lower lip, "Please inform me about everything what happens on the mission." Rinko wanted to say something else but then turned around and left the office leaving Asagi alone.
"Poor Rinko." Asagi sighed and then heard a knock at her door.
"Hi, sis." Sakura opened the door, "Why Rinko was so upset? Did you lecture her or something?" Sakura was wondering what could make Rinko so upset.
"Yukikaze and Tatsurou were captured by that organization." Asagi took her place with a deep sigh.
"What?!" Sakura exclaimed, "But… how did it happened?!"
"I don't know, according with the Chikeko's report they were attacked by that law during their mission." Asagi took the paper from her desk and added, "The attackers were Etienne Richar and Mystic, and Yukikaze and Tatsurou were taken by Pegasus."
"Man, they're lucky if they could stooge their legs out of there." Sakura sat onto the sofa, "These two are really dangerous ones. I fought that Pegasus during our first mission together. And that Mystic was on our mission on protecting the Russian minister." Sakura said, "How they could escape out of there?"
"I don't know, but they're orders work is really strange." Asagi put her hands in a lock, "When they can capture us they don't do that, for example during you first mission, or investigation of Murasaki and Ren."
"Yeah, these one are the strangest criminals I've faced." Sakura nodded, "On their place I'd capture the opponents, why to loose such opportunity."
"Me too." Asagi agreed with her sister, "Knowing they're interested in these seals, tells us nothing." Asagi sighed, "I have one pondering, I've discussed with Pavel, but I don't know to belive in that or not."
"Wow you're talking with Pavel about such serious things?" Sakura was impressed of what her elder sister said, "But wasn't it good to talk with Oleg about it or at least with Maria?"
"Pavel was the first one whom I'd asked and as I understand his teachers, know the same as he knows." Asagi explained, "After all we're discussing legends, so there's no need to ask them."
"Well, I'm very attentive sis." Sakura chuckled.
Asagi told Sakura her conversation with Pavel. Sakura became a little frown of the talk and started even to think everything very carefully. Sakura didn't like the idea of these strange demon lords to be returned; Asagi even announced some guessing to her younger sister, like what these demon lords could be, but Sakura just said her sister to calm down.
"That's why I don't know how to work with that organization." Asagi rubbed her nasal bridge, "If they have such demon lord behind them, we should be very careful and dispose of him first."
"I can't understand two things in this story." Sakura said her sister, "Why these demon lords decided to cooperate with humans if they're so strong? I mean, they could do everything themselves, but not create an organization."
"According with the notes Eugene Fedorov gave me, "Demons can't break the seals, only humans are allowed to work with them." Asagi explained, "So, what is the other thing you don't understand?" Asagi smiled to Sakura.
"What 'Red Division' made to work with us? Who hired them?" Asagi frowned, that question made her puzzled too, "Could Russian government hire them to work here?"
"Probably." Asagi pondered, "They can't work free in other country free, and if their hunters are detected, it can be taken as invasion or some sort of a provocation using of mercenaries gives them an opportunity to control the situation over the seals and have needed knowledge how to make further steps." she got up then, "This question is really interesting." then Asagi's phone rang and she accepted the call.
Asagi started another talk with her phone interlocutor. Her face became tenser. After some minutes Asagi put her phone back onto the desk and said to herself.
"One problem after another one." Asagi rubbed her temples.
"What is it?" Sakura asked her worried.
"NOMAD'S activity was detected in Tokyo Kingdom." Asagi sighed, "The last thing I wanted to hear now."
"If you don't want me to leave I'll stay." Sakura said got up from the sofa.
"No, go and have some rest, you earned it." Asagi chuckled, "You're going only for weekends so I don't think there will happen something serious."
"Thanks sis." Sakura smiled widely to her.
The first lesson finished pretty fast and the second one started pretty fast. Oleg Semenovich came with a bit delay on his lesson. When he came he did a mere roll call in order to check the number of his students. Then Oleg started his lesson.
"Well today I give you a chance to choose between two themes. They're dead types of demons or we'll repeat the common ones." Oleg said, to his pupils.
The pupils started to discuss the offer of their teacher, and then suddenly he suddenly was asked about the theme he wasn't ready to here.
"Sensei." Ren raised her hand.
"What is it Ikenami?" he asked the tanned girl.
"I have a question, but it doesn't relate to these themes." she said, Oleg nodded giving her to understand she could continue, "It's about our last mission, do you remember the massive demons which were with 'The Third Law'? Do you know what are they?"
"Not a bad question Ikenami." Oleg smiled to her, "It's really a good one. Honestly even I don't know what they are." he said fairly.
"Wow there is something even you don't know sensei." Maki chuckled at these words.
"There is always something we don't know Sato." Oleg looked at the naughty girl, "There are lots of demons scientists haven't examined yet, and at the same time which have already extinct."
"What do you mean?" some student asked him, "We're they all killed by hunters?"
"Yes, some of them really were, but some of them were killed by other demons." Class was shocked of this information, "As I know there was a type of demons, which reminded spiders, their web consisted a special toxin, which suppressed not only hunters' powers, but also demons' ones. There also were demons that reminded centaurs, but they were crazier and hardier. If the gossips are true, they were killed by other demons because of their fearsome power."
"And could these ones be those, who are supposed to be extinct?" Ikenami asked her teacher.
"Probably." Oleg nodded, "I don't reject that idea. Knowing 'The Third Law' they always have something to impress you." Oleg chuckled; "By the way, how was your first lesson with Maria Sergeievna, as I heard some of you didn't like that." he strangely smiled.
"Her lessons are interesting, but strict." Someone from the class responded, "They're even stricter that Yatsu-sensei's."
"Is it really so?" Oleg narrowed his eyes.
"Well, during our practical lesson, she demanded quite a lot." Maki join the conversation, "I mean, we know nothing about these mental abilities and how to resist them."
"Maki, sensei knows better how to teach." Ren interfered protecting the Russian teacher, "At the same time, she started from empowering, so there's nothing scaring."
"Well, Vlasova-sensei is a really stubborn teacher." Oleg sighed, "But she has her own reasons to be so, she always do what she thinks is better, of course sometimes it can be not pleasant, but necessary. She had a severe past, and always tries to prepare everyone to it too."
"Is it because of that organization?" Maki asked him.
"Yes, because of them too." Oleg sighed raising his head, but then he returned to the class, "Well, I think today we will repeat the past material, after all we should remember it perfectly, shouldn't we, Sato?" Oleg looked at Maki.
The lesson continued, the teacher asked basic questions the kids, and they answered them. The man asked every student, and even Ren who was seemed distrustful to Russian teachers, answered them with some interest. Masami was asked too, and the girl answered the questions too, however her answered were calm and in some ways short, but Oleg was surprised a little, he didn't feel the same cold she was talking with.
The lesson passed pretty fast. The student weren't tiered at all.
"Do you need to go home and change your clothes or have you taken everything with yourselves?" Oleg asked them, the class replied that they took everything, with themselves, "Good, now let's go to the station, I think Hirata and Igawa sensei will meet us in front of the inner gates."
"Yes!" the class replied, and all of them left the classroom breaking in pairs.
"Finally we have some action." Azumi said as she stretched her limbs, "Especially in such company." she looked at her group, which consisted of Torch, Izumi and the boy with his trident.
"Yeah, but it's just a mere demon cleaning." Torch said with a sigh, "So there's nothing to be happy too much."
"Don't you like such missions?" the boy asked him.
"No, but they're waft some memory of ages of being just a student." he replied to Azumi, "Hey Izumi, why so thoughtful?"
"I'm thinking, of a best strategy of our work." she answered to the boyfriend of her sister, "After all this is a mission with a beginning hunter." she looked at the boy.
"Your truth." Torch nodded, "We must think a good strategy."
"I'll focus on boy's protection." Izumi replied, "We've already worked together, so I know how to protect him."
"Then we will be the main strike force." Azumi said to her sister, "If something goes wrong, I'll help you too."
Suddenly they felt cold and in seconds they saw Celine, who was in front of them along with Stephanie.
'Another weirdo.' Izumi thought.
"Celine, have you come to give us the nuances of the mission?" Torch asked her.
"Yes." Celine nodded, "Tell them." she looked at Stephanie.
"As was told you're to clean the nest, which reject to join us." Stephanie said for Celine, "They can become a danger to us if they join some other power." Celine nodded as the girl watched at the armored person.
"Can I ask you a question?" Azumi asked Celine, "What kind of help will you provide us?"
Stephanie wanted to say something, but Celine was faster, "Protection… on the case, if there some great danger."
"So you won't give us straight aid." Torch concluded with a frown expression.
"Your mission to check abilities… of the boy." Celine pointed at the kid, "Walter is busy… I'm too… But is there's something wrong… Just summon me."
"Understood." Torch nodded, Celine came to him and stretched a small crystal.
"Destroy it… And I'll come to help." Celine said, then she and the girl with the cloak disappeared in a cold steam.
"What… an extraordinary… woman." Azumi spelled each word slowly and with big interval, and as she said, all of the presenters laughed at her joke even Izumi.
"Well, let's not waste time." Torch said putting on his mask.
By the ladders they jumped into a dark alley. Torch looked out of the corner and pointed them to move after him, the quickly ran by the allies. Torch was the first one, behind him was Azumi, the third one the boy and the last one was Izumi, who protected the boy's hide. Torch, quickly jumped onto a small building, the rest followed his example.
After some period of running they stopped in front of some not big building, it looked like a hotel or something like that. There several orcs not be the main entrance, and several orcs were standing on the roof.
"Pretty much of them." Torch pondered, "Like they protect something."
"Why such suggestion?" Azumi asked him with interest.
"Frankly speaking, they gathered much of them on the rooftop that always shows enemy is protecting something or someone."
"Do you think they have a guest?" Izumi asked him this time.
"Probably, maybe just some important cargo is there." Torch pondered he examined the building carefully trying to find a perfect place to strike, "Izumi, is your ability teleportation?"
"Yes." she nodded, but then narrowed her eyes, "I know what you want, but where I should take us?"
"Let me see." Torch pondered.
"How about straight onto the roof?" the boy asked him, "If we fight together there will be able to deal with the one there quickly."
"Not a bad plan." Torch smiled, but because of his mask it was not visible, "Let's do it so."
Izumi nodded and closed her eyes; Azumi took out her blade, while the boy prepared his trident. Torch prepared nothing as his weapon was with him. In no time they disappeared from their place and found themselves on the place of their enemy.
"Huh?!" one orc was surprised of such thing, "What the…?" he was about to say something, but Azumi's blade pierced the head of the orc.
Torch joined his girlfriend fast. His attacks were as dangerous and fatal as hers. However Torch also used his flame in order to keep them on a distance from him and Azumi. The boy joined the battle too; however he still was lack, in skills, so Izumi helped him pretty well. The fight was intense; however the team could deal with orcs without serious damage.
"Into the building." Torch commanded them.
The team followed him, entering into the door which led from the roof into the building. While they were running, by the hall of the building, Torch saw how something gleaming was flying at him. The boy bent and hit the object, with his glove.
'That was really close.' the lad with the wig exhaled.
"What was that?" Azumi asked as she cought him up.
"My, my, you're quite skillful one." they heard a soft, but chuckling voice, which belonged to a woman, "I'm quite interested in you."
After these words they could see a woman in black and white attire. She had a black ribbon on her head, which reminded rabbit's ears. Her uniform was quite reveling, and exposed much of her body, making her a perfect seducer, especially with her bust.
"No way." Azumi was speechlessly amazed, "It's impossible."
"Shit, of all people, but not her." Izumi was in the same state, but still tried to hold her still.
"What is it?" Torch looked at them, "Are you scared of this woman or what?"
"My, my, I'm impressed you're not aware of me." The woman chuckled at the lad's words, "I'm hurt."
"It's Mizuki Shiranui." Azumi replied.
"One of the strongest Taimanins in the past." Izumi continued, "But she was captured by Incubus King, and was brainwashed."
"How much she is strong?" Torch looked at the woman.
"She is as strong as Igawa Asagi herself." Azumi concluded.
"Your comrades know me quite well." Shiranui replied with the same chuckle, "Now, I'm touched, what should we do with them?" she asked someone.
"If you want you can take them to your master." a massive orc, which looked like an ogre appeared out of her back, "I don't need them at all, though I'd like to know how Taimanin have known about our location."
"Don't want to disappoint you, but we are not Taimanin." Torch replied to him, "So there's no need for you to be worried about them."
"And if it's not a secret, who is your head or employer?" Shiranui wanted to know the answer for her question, as the boy didn't know her at all.
"'The Third Law'." the boy with the trident quickly replied.
'Them again?' Shiranui pondered, 'These guys are on our way for the second time.' she frowned a little.
"Listen, I'll take her, Azumi protect me, Izumi focus with the boy, on that demon." Torch announced the formation for upcoming fight.
Then he rushed at Shiranui along with Azumi. The woman dodged his strike and grabbed her spear, then she attacked Azumi, who were in time to protect her boyfriend, Torch joined her to help. The woman dodged all lunges with grace, and none of their attack reached them. Torch focused on attacking, while Azumi decided to focus on protection. The girl tried to use her magnetism, but all her attempts were fruitless.
Izumi and the boy were fighting the demon. Their situation was tense too, as the boy wasn't a good fighter at all. So the boy decided to protect the girl, while the girl was tried to kill the demon. But it wasn't easy for her as the demon was pretty fast according its compact dimensions. The boy tried to fight on medium distance, while Izumi did more work.
'Why he doesn't use that ability?' Izumi thought, 'Can't he use it or what?' she quickly glanced at the boy not stopping the fight.
The battles were tense, however Izumi's fight was a little better than Torch's one. Shiranui was only playing with the two criminals.
"Torch, we can't defeat her." Azumi said to him, "We're to retreat."
"I have a plan; try to disturb her for several seconds." Torch asked her, Azumi nodded and the boy got his hand dirty with demonic blood, which was on his glove.
The lad, bent down and started to draw a circle and some letters in it, the boy draw a star in the circle and then put his hand onto it.
"Azumi! Out of the way!" he commanded.
The girl jumped away and when Torch removed his hand, a strong flame was revealed out of it. This flame was by him, he put his hands in it, and then shot at Shiranui with it. The flame was strong, however Shiranui was standing still, and in next moment it hit her. A strong steam covered the hall.
"Did it work?' Torch exhaled heavily, but then something hit him at the chest strongly.
"Not bad for a criminal." he heard Shiranui's voice, the boy fell onto the floor, he wanted to get up, but couldn't as her leg was pressed his chest, "One move and he is done." Shiranui said to Azumi who was on her way to rescue her comrade.
Izumi was in a bad state too, she was grabbed by the demon too; she tried to break free, but couldn't as his grip was hard and firm.
"Yeah, throw your damn weapons and give up." the demon commanded to the boy too strengthening his grip on Izumi's neck, "Or she is history."
"Shit." Torch groaned, 'I have no other choice, but…' suddenly he felt something strange.
"What is it?" the half ogre asked as the floor they were standing started to shake a little.
"Do not…" they heard a voice, "Do not dare to touch my friends!" the boy with the trident suddenly shouted.
A strong amount of energy was released out of his body. That made Shiranui to step aside and the demon to free the girl and make some distance from the boy.
'What is going on?' Torch looked at the boy, 'I've never felt such energy before.'
'That boy.' Yukikaze's mother narrowed her eyes, 'Is similar to Master's one, but…' she stopped her pondering, 'But more scaring and stronger.'
The boy's eyes became red. And he dashed to the demon; he did a large swing with his spear. The half ork could barely dodge the strike.
"So fast?!" the demon was shocked of his speed.
Then the boy attacked Shiranui. But she could successfully parry his attack with her spear. The boy's eyes still were red, his attack were fast like they belonged to professional hunter. He held his weapon in one hand and attack Shiranui. The woman created a water clone, so then the boy started to feel worse, and started to block and parry her attacks. Torch and Azumi joined him in order to help.
'I'll know later what that is.' Torch thought focusing his mind on Shiranui, trying to understand was it a clone or the real one.
Shiranui grinned and created another two clones, and they started to fight Troch and Azumi, while the real one with the other clone was fighting the boy.
'Damn it, we won't win against her.' Torch said to himself, then he put his hand into the pocket of his shorts, 'There's no other choice, but to call her.' he crushed the crystal, and saw how a spear was on its way to pierce his head.
"Torch!" Azumi exclaimed.
But the spear was frozen and then crushed with a strong hit.
"Just in time." Torch took a deep breath, as he was prepared to die, "One more second and I would be done."
"Told you…" Celine said to him, and looked at Shiranui, "You… again."
"It's quite surprising to see you again." Shiranui said to the armored woman, "I was wondering when you appear again."
Celine replied nothing; she only noticed how two copies of Shiranui were going to attack her. Celine exhaled a cold steam, and both of the clones became frozen statues, which were broken immideately.
"Help… the boy." Celine ordered to Torch and Azumi, to deal with the demon and the other clone.
"Don't you need a help?" Torch asked her.
"Demon Lord doesn't need it." she replied, and started to exhale a cold steam once more, after it a scythe of ice appeared in her hands.
"So, you're a demon lord?" Shiranui asked her, "My, my, I didn't hear anything about at all, maybe you'll present yourself?"
"The third Demon Lord of the second line." Celine replied, and rushed at Shiranui on a great speed.
Their weapons clashed, 'That was even faster than that boy did.' she pondered, 'What this bastard is driveling about?'
Celine pushed Shiranui away, and did another lunge, but she could parry it again. Shiranui created a water spear in her hand and threw it at Celine, but the woman could dodge it gracefully. For Shiranui it was really interesting, how this person, could move that fast with such armor.
Celine on the other hand didn't show any emotion, she only attacked the woman in front of her with her scythe.
"Maybe you'll show me something interesting?" Shiranui chuckled, "Or the only thing you can do is jut create ice weapons?"
Celine replied nothing, but only continued to fight, Shiranui quickly understood her opponent increased the speed so the servant of Incubus King, created one more clone. However, Celine could fight both perfectly.
"Who is this person?" Azumi was astonished of Celine's fight, "She can fight Mizuki Shiranui her self on equal."
"I'll tell you later." Torch said starting the fight with the demon.
The boy was in Izumi's arms, whilst her sister along with her boyfriend, were fighting the demon. The boy was unconscious. Izumi tried to return him back, but everything was pointless.
'He can't manage… with his energy…' Celine glanced at the boy, 'Too much power demand… Must pour some into him…' Celine kicked one Shiranui at her stomach and let flew her, while another one was frozen.
She appeared by Izumi and put her hand onto the boy's head. After some seconds the boy started to open his eyes and started to move lamely.
"What… what happened?" the boy asked watching at Izumi.
Celine replied nothing, but only continued to fight Shiranui.
"Nothing special, Izumi replied him." exhaling in a relief, 'How good he is fine.'
'Damn, I won't be able to defeat her.' Shiranui thought, 'I must retreat or I'll lose here, this fool's gang is history, why should I waste my time here now?'
The demon started to give his ground too. But it was faster than Shiranui did.
"Sorry, big boy, but I'll leave them to you." Shiranui chuckled, "I don't think you'll be good for us."
"What?!" the demon roared, "Damn bitch, how dare you!"
Shiranui created another two clones, which attacked Celine giving time for the real one to retreat.
Celine dealt with clones fast, but she didn't follow Shiranui only turning to the boy and coming to him.
The demon was killed too; the last attack belonged to Azumi, who pierced its head. After dealing with their opponents the group started to restore their power.
"Phew, it was a really difficult battle." Torch said, warming up his arms.
"I thought, Shiranui will get us." Azumi sighed sitting onto the floor, "Now I know, what means to be between a devil and the deep blue."
"If not you and that boy, we would be done." Izumi looked at Celine.
"Must become strong." Celine said them, "From now, my personal faction."
"What?" Celine was asked by the four of them.
"Just kidding." Celine replied, "If need… can train with me…" Celine said and looked at the boy, "Nothing ache? Nothing disturb?"
"No." the boy said, "Why?"
"Do you mean you don't remember how ou fought Shiranui?" Torch asked with a surprise.
"No, I only remember how you two fought her, nothing more." he answered fairly.
'Must be trained more…' Celine concluded, but then said again, "Mission is done… return." then they disappeared in a cold steam.
"Man, can't wait when we go to that resort." Maki was happy, "Just can't belive we'll get there for weekends."
"Yeah, that's true." Aki agreed with his childhood friend, "Even' I'm thrilled."
"By the way, Ren, what are you thinking about it?" Pavel asked Ren, who was sitting on the bench waiting for their train, "I mean, this little vacation."
"Nothing special." Ren was drinking orange juice out of the packet, "After all we'll have practice there, so it's just vacation which is combined with practice."
"Yeah, practice is an important thing, but it's important to relax from time to time." Pavel took a place next to her, "And after our last fight we really are to prepare better."
"Yeah, the fight with that Mystic was really hard; I don't think the two of us will be able to defeat him." Ren replied to him.
"Each of them is a dangerous opponent." Pavel, replied, "But with good team work we can defeat them, by the way, Ren…" Pavel stumbled.
"What is it?" she looked at him.
"Well… how should I say it right?" Pavel said nervously, but then saw how Sakura came to them.
"What are you two cooing about?" Sakura asked the students.
"About having some practice." Ren responded to the teacher, taking out the pipe out of her mouth.
"I thought you'd be talking about filling your free time." Sakura put her hand onto Ren's shoulder, "You really don't know how to relax Ren."
"Sensei, I can relax, but right now, we are to become stronger, to fight these scums, and at the same time, it'll be a good opportunity, to work over my personal power."
"Can I join?" Pavel asked Ren with enthusiastic voice, "I want to find the way to awake it too."
"Don't mind at all." Ren looked at him, "The more the merrier."
Suddenly Pavel, noticed Masami's glance at him, Pavel looked at the girl too, but she only removed her eyes from him.
"I'll leave you for a minute." Pavel said to them.
"By the way, what did you want?" Ren suddenly asked him.
"Ah?" Pavel turned to the tanned Taimanin, "Ah, no nothing don't think about it." Pavel smiled to her, Ren nodded, but it seemed she didn't like the respond.
Pavel came to Masami, who was watching at the railway, the girl noticed him, but said nothing.
"Did you want to talk?" Pavel asked her.
"No, I just looked at you have fun with your friend." Masami said to him with a calm voice, "You could develop a liking really fast."
"What should I say, I'm talkative." Pavel replied, "And what about you?" Pavel asked her, "Don't want to try to have some fun with someone?"
"I don't think I'm ready yet." Masami squeezed her arm with her hand.
"It's never late to find new friends." Pavel chuckled, "If you want you can join us four, I think they will gladly meet you."
"About our preparations." Masami decided to avoid the theme about friends, "Will we practice during this vacation?"
"Of course." Pavel nodded, "It'll be a good opportunity for us, what do you want to practice first mental part or physical one?"
"Physical I think, I think my moves became a bit slowly." Masami replied.
"Well, according to your moves, you're in a good shape." Pavel disagreed with his classmate, "And I think if not our problem you could kick my butt." Pavel chuckled.
Masami chuckled too, "You really put yourself too low."
"I didn't say that." Pavel protested.
"You was really good too, at the same time, I think you hold yourself in some places." Masami looked at him.
"I didn't hold myself too much." Pavel replied.
All students looked were watching at them with interest, and even started to whisper.
"Hey, Aki, since when Masami became so lively?" Maki asked her boyfriend.
"I don't know." Aki replied watching at them too, "But it's really good to see her that way, then gloomy as always."
The only who looked with a slight smile at them was Ren and Sakura. The tanned Taimanin understood that Pavel's talk to the girl was successful, and was glad she didn't mistaken in him, however she squeezed the package and threw it into the trash can with some nervous move.
"Hey, Ren want to have a practice with Pavel, when we arrive?" Sakura looked at Ren with interested and her casual smile.
"Sensei, what do you want to do?" Ren looked at her gloomy.
"Nothing, just asking you." Sakura continued to smile, "Just noticed how you watch at Pavel from time to time."
"Don't know what you're talking about." Ren turned away.
"Come on if you like him, just admit it or he will be dragged by another girl." Sakura chuckled.
"Sakura-sensei, please stop your teasing over the students." Chikeko said to her colleague, "Sometimes it can irritate a lot."
"Usually they like them." Sakura looked at Chikeko, "By the way where is Oleg?"
"He is taking the tickets." Chikeko replied, "I think he should be here in any moment."
Oleg came to them in some minutes, the man called al of the students and two teachers too.
"Kids, I hope you remember we are going to practice there." Oleg started, "I know no one wants to do that, but this opportunity must be taken seriously, though I know you want to rest, so I hope you'll be able to combine productive work with rest. We prepared several practices for you, so I hope you'll like it a lot." he smiled mysteriously.
"What have you planned for us, sensei?" he heard a question from the crowd.
"You'll see and at the same time, since the most of you have special powers, I'll give you an extra lesson from myself."
'So, he wants to teach them how to use seals.' Pavel chuckled at these words, 'It'll be really interesting to see that.' he sighed, 'If only I could use them too.'
Oleg went to the other side of the platform, Chikeko and Sakura followed him, while students continued their talking.
"By the way, how about to solve our deal there?" Sakura asked Oleg.
"What deal?" Chikeko looked at him with slightly worried eyes.
"Ah, our fight." Oleg smiled, "I don't mind, we can do it in front of students by the way."
"And what about your uniform? Will you take with you or…?"
"Yes, our uniforms will be delivered straight into the train." Oleg nodded, "After all its for combats, and mine is created personally for my abilities."
"You mean telekinesis?" Chikeko asked him, Oleg nodded, "I'd have some practice with you too, last time I wasn't in good shape."
"I don't think I'll be able to defeat you two together." Oleg replied to her, "If we do it with some break, I think I'll be able to impress you."
"Sweet." Sakura was glad to hear that, "But I hoped to see you in your old uniform." Sakura sighed, "But it'll be good with your modern one."
"Oleg, why Maria didn't ask to go with us? I think she deserves it too." Chikeko asked her Russian colleague, "If not her and Ilya's help we would have much more troubles."
"I don't think she would agree." Oleg answered, "She is a stubborn person, and go to vacations only under orders." he suddenly laughed, "It's always such a comedy when I see her on a vacation."
"Why?" Chikeko asked him.
"When she was ordered to take her class on an excursion, she couldn't find a place for her, and ordered her students to learn every piece of information, they had heart, I remember how they pleaded me to deal with it."
"Man." Sakura whistled, "She is even harsher than Mu-chan."
"I can't belive she is such a person." Chikeko smiled at these words.
"If she was my teacher, I'd drive crazy." Sakura laughed too.
Their talk continued for not long, the train came in time. Oleg ordered the students to enter it. And when the last of them entered the train, the teachers entered the train too.
