It was the end of summer and Quentin still wasn't letting Oliver and Felicity see each other. This summer sucked Oliver thought to himself and for the first time he couldn't wait for school to start again. He would be able to see Felicity in school and there was nothing her father could do about that. Felicity tried to hack her phone and computer so she could speak to Oliver but they both would shut down when she tried to contact him. They were speaking using Tommy and Sara's phones for a while but that stopped when they tried to meet up and Felicity got caught and wound up getting grounded. Sara did too for helping Oliver and Felicity. They decided meeting up wasn't the best idea. Personally Oliver thought her father was being over dramatic about all this. It was just a goodnight kiss. One good thing did come out of this though. They both agreed this wasn't going to break them. It was just going to make them stronger.
Two days before school Oliver got a text from Tommy. My house now. Emergency. Oliver rolled his eyes. Whatever it was it probably wasn't that serious. He drove over to Tommy's house and knocked on the door. Tommy opened the door and pulled him inside shutting the door behind them.
"Follow me" he said without any explanation.
"What's the big emergency" Oliver asked.
"Just shut up and follow me" Tommy said walking upstairs. Oliver rolled his eyes again and followed him. Tommy opened the door to his bedroom. "Go in" Tommy said.
Oliver walked in. "This better be import…" he started to say but stopped when he saw who was standing in front of him. "Felicity" he said surprised. Felicity nodded and ran up to him giving him a huge hug.
"What are you doing here" Oliver asked.
"Tommy offered to bring me here and said he could get you to come here" Felicity said.
"What about your father" Oliver asked.
"He decided we suffered enough. Plus we're going to see each other at school" Felicity said.
Oliver smiled and kissed Felicity. "OK I'm going to leave you two lovebirds here and act like I have something better to do. Just if you guys decide to have sex make sure you clean up after yourself. I'll have the sheets washed and I don't want to find panties in here. Laurel would be pissed if another girls panties were in my room especially her sisters" Tommy said.
"Goodbye" both Oliver and Felicity said at the same time.
"Damn I'm getting kicked out of my own room. That's a new low" Tommy said. He saw a pillow coming toward his head which was thrown by Oliver. He ducked out of the way. "Fine I get the point. I'm leaving" Tommy said closing the door.
Oliver and Felicity smiled at each other. They kissed again. "This is so amazing. I thought I would have to wait two more days to see you" Oliver said.
"Well my father saw how miserable I was and I wasn't really talking to him so he felt bad and decided we can see each other again but we have to be careful" Felicity said.
Oliver nodded. "Absolutely" he said.
Two days later school started. Oliver was picking up Felicity and Sara in the morning and he had bought them all breakfast. He texted them that he was there. He thought it would be better to stay in the car and wait considering how their father felt about him. A minute later they both walked out of the house and got into the car. Felicity in the front and Sara in the back. "Hi guys" Oliver said.
"Hi Oliver" Sara said.
"Hi" Felicity said smiling at him.
"I got us all breakfast" Oliver said holding up the bag.
"Good I'm starving" Sara took the bag looking for her breakfast. Oliver started to drive away. "You know now that we're away from the house and dad can't see if you guys want to pull over and have quickie I won't mind" Sara said pulling her bagel out of the bag.
"Ew that's disgusting" Felicity said.
"Our first time isn't going to be in a car. It's going to be someplace romantic" Oliver said.
Felicity looked at Oliver shocked. "Have you thought about our first time" she asked.
"Kind of and when I have your sister wasn't there" Oliver said.
"All I'm saying is that you both must be really horny. Felicity you've gone your life without having sex and Oliver you've gone what five six months without sex. That's got to be a record for you" Sara said.
Oliver mock laughed. "Well I finally found someone worth waiting for" Oliver said taking Felicity's hand and kissing it.
Sara made gagging noises in the back. "Can you leave all disgustingly cute romantic stuff for when you're alone? I'm trying to eat" Sara asked.
Felicity rolled her eyes. "You know you didn't have to come with us" she said.
"I know but dad told me to monitor you two but don't worry I won't tell if you guys just can't help yourselves" Sara said.
"We'll be fine" Felicity said.
"And we definitely wouldn't do it in front of a audience especially Felicity's sister" Oliver said.
"I wouldn't look… much" Sara said. Felicity threw a napkin at her.
They arrived at the school and went their own separate ways as they all had different classes first period. Oliver had chemistry and all the students were being paired up.
"Oliver Queen your partner will be Stacy Bloomberg" the teacher said. Crap Oliver thought. Of course he'd be paired up with his ex-girlfriend.
"Hello Oliver" Stacy said sitting next to him.
"Hi" he said faking a smile.
"How are you I haven't spoken to you since our little fight. I forgive you by the way and expect to see you at my house tonight" Stacy said.
Oliver looked at her confused. "For what" Oliver asked.
Stacy laughed. "Your lucky your cute. So we can have our makeup sex" she said. Their what? She has got to be out of her mind Oliver thought.
"We broke up" Oliver said.
Stacy nodded. "Yes and I decided to unbreak up with you. Besides that hasn't stopped you before" she said.
"I've changed" Oliver said.
Stacy laughed again. "People don't change. They just fool people into believing they have" she said.
"I'm with Felicity" Oliver said.
Stacy shrugged. "So dump her or I could be your side piece. I won't tell her" she said reaching up to touch his face.
Oliver pulled her hand back. "That's not going to work for me" he said turning his attention from her to the teacher.
Stacy glared at him. "Are you rejecting me" she asked.
"Yes now shush. I'm trying to listen" Oliver said. She watched Oliver take notes and really pay attention in class. What has that Felicity girl done to him? She moved her chair closer to him but he pushed her chair back. Now she was getting angry. She always got what she wanted. No one ever rejected her. He would learn that lesson the hard way. The bell rang and everyone got up. Oliver started to get up but Stacy pulled him down.
"You made a big mistake Oliver Queen. For you and your little girlfriend. I always get what I want" she warned him. She got up and left before he could ask what she meant.
The rest of the day went smoothly. At lunch Oliver Felicity and Sara all sat together having the same lunch period. They all also had their next class together, Calculus. They sat in three seats in the back of the class since Oliver and Sara preferred to be towards the back of the class. Oliver looked at the board and listened to the teacher and didn't understand any of it. That was OK though because Felicity would explain it to him. She was good at explaining things even better then some of the teachers. The rest of the day was uneventful and Oliver had forgotten all about Stacy and her delusional thoughts. After school Oliver drove Felicity and Sara home. "Bye Oliver" Sara said getting out of the car.
Felicity smiled at Oliver. "See you tomorrow" she said. They went in for a kiss but stopped themselves. "Maybe we shouldn't do that in front of my house" Felicity said.
Oliver nodded. "Right. Bye" he said. Oliver drove away heading home.
When Oliver got home he greeted his mother father and sister before heading up stairs to do some homework. He zoomed with Felicity on zoom so she could help him. "So that means y would be -100" Oliver said.
"That's good. Your getting it. You see I told you your smarter than you think you are" Felicity said.
Oliver shook his head. "No your just a good teacher" he said.
"So what about your chemistry homework" Felicity asked.
Oliver took out his notes he took from his chemistry class. He took a deep breath. "Felicity about Chemistry I'm kind of in the same class as my ex Stacy" he said.
"The one who threw her drink on me. I remember" Felicity said.
"We're also kind of lab partners. Not by choice though. The teacher paired us up together. If your not comfortable I can aske to switch partners" Oliver babbled.
Felicity laughed. "It's fine. I trust you" she said. Oliver smiled at that. He would never do anything to break that trust.
There was a knock on Oliver's door. "Oliver sweetie dinner's ready" Moira said. Oliver nodded.
"I'll be right there. Just let me say goodbye to Felicity" he said. Moira smiled and walked into the room.
"You're talking to Felicity" she asked. Oliver nodded. Moira walked over to the computer. "Hi Felicity. It's so nice to meet not that Oliver has introduced us yet" she said.
Oliver rolled his eyes. "I told you mom we weren't able to see each other all summer because of a stupid kiss" he said.
Moira turned to her son. "Her father did tell you about his rules" she said.
Oliver sighed in frustration. "Jesus mom whose side are you on" Oliver said.
Moira turned back to Felicity. "Felicity you must come over for dinner tomorrow" Moira said.
"Mom" Oliver said. Moira ignored her son.
"I don't know" Felicity said.
"We will have whatever you like made special for you. Oliver will let us know. I want to get to know the girl who has caused such a positive change in my son" Moira said.
"Sure" Felicity said.
"Perfect I will see you tomorrow night" Moira said. She turned to Oliver. "Finish talking to Felicity and then come down for dinner" she said.
"OK" Oliver said. Moira left the room. "I'm sorry about that. I was going to try to ease you in to meeting my family" Oliver said.
Felicity shook her head. "It's fine. Your mother seems nice" she said.
"Felicity" her father called her.
"I got to go" she said.
"Bye" Oliver said hanging up. Oliver went downstairs for dinner and ate dinner with his family. Once he was done he got ready to take a shower. He got into the shower. Once he was done he walked into his room with a towel wrapped around his waist.
"Hello Oliver" a voice said behind him. He jumped when he heard the voice and turned around. Laying on his bed in lingerie was Stacy.
"What the hell are you doing here" Oliver asked. She got off the bed and started walking over to him.
"You never came over so I thought I would pay you a visit" she said looking at his naked body and licking her lips.
"How did you get in here" Oliver asked.
"I told your parents we were lab partners and I had a question about the chemistry homework" Stacy said.
"Well you need to leave" he said.
"But I just got here" Stacy said sexily going to touch his body.
Oliver slapped her hand away. "Yea well you need to go" he said.
"You don't mean that" she said.
Oliver nodded his head. "Yes I do. Like I told you before I already have a girlfriend and I'm not making you my side piece" he said.
Stacy walked up to Oliver so her boobs were on his chest. "Your telling me your picking her over me" Stacy said seductively.
Oliver pushed her back gently. "Yes I am" he said.
Stacy got mad and she slapped him hard. "That was your last chance. Be prepared for your life to get destroyed" she said taking her stuff and leaving. Oliver was confused. What just happened? He got ready for bed and laid in his bed thinking about her earlier threat to make him and Felicity pay.
The next day at school Stacy was already in class when Oliver arrived. Oliver took a deep breath and sat down in his seat. Stacy turned to Oliver. "Oliver I'm sorry" she said. Oliver looked at her confused. He definitely didn't expect that. "I acted inappropriate with you and it wasn't right. I need to respect your boundaries" she said. OK this wasn't the Stacy he knew. The Stacy he knew was vindictive and cruel and she never apologized.
"Thank you" was all he could think of to say. She held out her hand.
"Maybe we could be friends. I promise no more advances at you" she said. Oliver skeptically shook her hand.
"Friends. Without benefits" he added.
She smiled. "Of course" she said. Stacy behaved herself the whole class and didn't bother him. Maybe she actually got the message. When class was over she got up and walked out. Maybe this class wasn't going to be so horrible Oliver thought. Oliver walked down the hall and joined Felicity Sara and Tommy.
After school Oliver was sitting on Felicity's bed. "It doesn't matter what you wear your going to look beautiful regardless and besides my parents aren't going to care" Oliver called to Felicity who was in her closet looking for something to wear. She came out off the closet in a black dress.
"How do I look" she asked.
"The same way you looked for the other 10 dresses you showed me. You look fine" Oliver said getting annoyed.
"I can't look just fine. I have to change again" Felicity said.
At that Oliver got up and grabbed her arm turning her so that she was in his arms. "You look beautiful like always" Oliver said kissing her.
"Thank you Oliver but I don't think this dress is right. I have to" She started but Oliver interrupted her by kissing her.
"That dress is fine. You look perfect. My parents are going to love you" Oliver said.
Felicity looked down at herself. "Fine I guess this will do" she said. They walked downstairs and Felicity said goodbye to everybody and they left the house.
They got to Oliver's house and got out of Oliver's car. Felicity looked up at the house. "Oliver this place is amazing" Felicity said.
Oliver shrugged his shoulders. "It's alright I guess" he said.
"Oliver this place is huge" she said.
"It is kind of big" he said taking Felicity inside.
Raisa greeted them at the door. "I'll take your coats Mr. Oliver and Miss…" she asked not knowing Felicity's name.
"Raisa this is Felicity" Oliver said.
Raisa smiled at her. "I'll take your coat Miss Felicity" she said. Oliver and Felicity took off their coats and handed them to Raisa.
"Thank you" Felicity said.
Oliver took Felicity's hand and walked her into the dining room where his parents and Thea were. "Mom Dad Thea this is Felicity" Oliver said introducing her to his parents.
Robert and Moira walked up to Felicity. "It's nice to finally meet you. Oliver hasn't stopped talking about you" Robert said.
Felicity smiled at him. "It's nice to meet you too" she said.
"We already met but it's nice to meet you in person" Moira said.
Felicity nodded her head. "Yes it's nice to meet you in person too" she said. Thea walked up to them.
"Your Felicity right" she asked.
Felicity nodded. "Yes I am" she said.
"So you're the girl Oliver has talked to Tommy about how he's going to marry you and how you'll have two kids one girl and one" Thea started but Oliver covered her mouth. He smiled at Felicity embarrassed.
"That's my little sister who has too big a mouth. So let's eat" Oliver said. They all sat down to eat and Oliver just kept talking about how great Felicity was. Felicity looked embarrassed but smiled because she could hear the pride in his voice. "And she's going to go to MIT and start her own company" Oliver said.
"School just started and I haven't even applied yet" Felicity said.
"Come on you know you're going to get in. You're the smartest person in the school" Oliver said.
"Thanks" Felicity said. Oliver and Felicity looked at each other clearly in love.
Moira watched Oliver and Felicity and could tell immediately how much her son loved Felicity. That was dangerous. It made Oliver blind and vulnerable to people who could be using and wind up hurting him. His flings didn't matter because it was obvious their were no feelings there. Felicity was different. She could tell. She had never seen Oliver this happy before. She smiled at Felicity.
"Felicity honey if you wouldn't mind I would like to talk to you for a minute in the other room" Moira said. Oliver looked at his mother concerned.
"Is everything OK" he asked. Moira nodded her head.
"I just want to have a little girl talk with Felicity" she said. Oliver had seen how these conversations end. With his mother scaring the girls off. He wasn't going to let that happen to Felicity.
"Mom can I talk to you for a second" Oliver said.
"Honey I was going to talk to Felicity" she said.
"I need to talk to you first" Oliver said. He got up and walked into the other room. Moira followed.
"I know what your trying to do and don't. You don't have to worry about Felicity. She's not like other girls" Oliver said.
"Oliver do you love her" Moira asked. Oliver stared at his mother shocked.
"What" he asked.
"It's fine I already know the answer" she said. Oliver shook his head.
"How could you possibly know that" Oliver asked.
"Please I knew within five seconds how you feel about her" Moira said.
"How" Oliver asked. Moira laughed.
"Please Oliver you are not the most subtle about it. The way you talk about her with such pride and how depressed you were when you couldn't be with her during the summer. Anyone with eyes can see it honey" she said.
"That's why I'm asking you please just go back into the dining room and we can all enjoy dinner" Oliver said. Moira shook her head.
"Love makes people blind. Believe me I know" Moira said turning to look at her husband who was talking to Felicity. Oliver sighed.
"Please be nice" he said. Moira smiled at him.
"Of course I will" she said.
They walked back into the dining room. Oliver sat back down. "Felicity if we can have that conversation now" Felicity nodded looking at Oliver who looked nervous. He faked a smile for her and she got up and followed Moira through the house. She led Felicity into an office and closed the door behind her. "You can sit down" Moira said. Felicity sat on the couch that was in the room. Moira took something out of the desk and started writing on it.
"You have a beautiful home Mrs. Queen" Felicity said.
"Thank you Felicity and call me Moira" she said. Felicity nodded. She looked around nervous. Moira walked over to her and handed her something.
"What's this" Felicity asked taking it.
"What I assume you want" Moira said. Felicity looked at it and saw it was a check for $10 million.
"I don't understand" she said.
"Well that will be enough to get you through school and a good start for that business you want to start" Moira said.
"Why would you just give me $10 million dollars? You don't even know me" Felicity asked.
"I know that a lot of girls who date a billionaire are just with them because they want the money. They don't actually care about them. I will not let my son get hurt because some girl is using him to start her business" Moira said.
"You want me to leave Oliver" Felicity said understanding what was going on. Moira nodded.
"That should be more than enough to start your business" she said. Felicity looked at the check and then at Moira. She ripped up the check into a bunch of tiny pieces. She handed them to her.
"I'm not going to accept your offer. What me and Oliver have is special and I know you and my dad don't see it but it is. I don't want your money and whatever I get in life will be because I earn it not because it's given to me. I'm sorry but with all due respect I'm going to choose Oliver" Felicity said walking past Moira.
"Felicity" Moira called. Felicity turned around.
"Don't hurt him" she said. Felicity nodded.
Felicity and Moira walked back out to the dining room and Oliver could tell Felicity was upset. "Are you OK" he asked. Felicity faked a smile and nodded.
"Yea I'm fine" she said.
"So Felicity I hear your really smart" Thea asked. Felicity laughed.
"That's what I've been told" she said.
"I was wondering if you could help me with my math homework sometime. It's hard and I don't understand it and Oliver said you help him with his homework" Thea said.
"Sure as long as it's OK with your parents" Felicity said.
"It's OK with me. If you can turn both our kids around in school you will be a miracle worker" Robert said laughing.
"We could even pay you" Moira said looking at Felicity. Felicity faked a smile.
"That's fine. I'll do it for free" she said looking back at Moira. She went back to talking to Thea. The whole time Oliver was glaring at his mother. She promised she'd be nice and Felicity was clearly upset. The food came out and Oliver just continued to sit there upset with his mother for something he didn't know about.
