It was the new year and Oliver and Felicity were in a great place. They made plans to move in together after high school much to her father's dismay. Her father still didn't trust Oliver but Felicity made it clear that she was going to move in with him after high school. They were looking at apartments together. They took a trip down to Massachusetts. They both believed they would make it even if no one else believed they would.

"This is nice. It'll work for us. It's not too big or too small it's just right for us" Oliver said as he and Felicity walked through the apartment.

Felicity nodded. "It's not too far from either of the schools either" she said.

"We can put the couch over here and the tv over there though it'll have to be small because I want to take as little money from my parents as…" Oliver started to say but was interrupted when Felicity kissed him. Oliver smiled at her. "Not that I'm complaining but what was that for" he asked.

"I love you for doing this but are you sure you want to? You'll be sacrificing a lot. I mean your whole life is back home. Your family is there and everything and I don't want to" Felicity started but this time Oliver kissed her interrupting her.

"There is no sacrifice to make. We'll be together. That's all that matters" he said.

Felicity smiled at him and hugged him. "We can make this work" she said.

Oliver took her face in his hands. "We're going to make this work no matter what it takes" he said. Felicity nodded in agreement. They stood there for a moment just staring at each other anyone who saw them could see the love coming from them. Felicity broke away from Oliver.

"Let's see the bedroom" she said walking into where the bedroom would be. Oliver followed her. She looked around. "This works. We can put the bed over there on that wall" she said pointing to the wall on the other side of the room. Oliver smiled at her and kissed her.

It was valentine's day and Oliver and Felicity were double dating with Tommy and Laurel. This wasn't Oliver or Tommy's idea. This was all Felicity and Laurel. Since Laurel was in town they thought it would be a great idea to double date. Personally Oliver would have preferred to just be with Felicity by himself. He was in his car heading to Felicity's house. Felicity and Laurel wanted to take one car but that was where Oliver drew the line. They were going to a restaurant and this way Oliver could pretend to get sick or something an him and Felicity could leave early and be alone for the rest of the night. Oliver understood it though. Laurel wasn't in town a lot and Felicity wanted to spend time with her sister. Oliver was completely supportive of that he just wished it wasn't on valentine's day. It was their first valentine's day and know he had to share it with his best friend and his girlfriend's sister. He arrived at the house and rang the doorbell.

"Oliver come in" Donna said pulling Oliver into the house. She always liked Oliver unlike Felicity's father. "Felicity will be right down" Donna said.

Oliver smiled and nodded. "Thanks Mrs. Lance" he said. Donna laughed him off.

"I told you call me Donna or mom. We are going to be family soon when you and Felicity get married in the near future I hope" Donna said. Oliver just continued to smile at her not really knowing what to say. Quentin walked into the room dressed in a nice suit.

"Hello Oliver" Quentin said.

"Hello Mr. Lance. Happy valentine's day" he said.

"It would be if we could leave already" he said.

Donna walked up to him and gave him a kiss. "I told you we can leave after we see the girls. They haven't let me see them yet" Donna said. Just then the doorbell rang. "That's probably Tommy" Donna said going over to answer the door. "Come in" Donna said to Tommy. Quentin rolled his eyes. Oliver smiled. At least Tommy was in the same boat as him with Quentin.

"Hey bro" Tommy said greeting Oliver. Oliver nodded at him. Tommy walked up to Quentin. "Hello Mr. Lance" Tommy said holding out his hand. Quentin glared at him. "Sorry I forgot. Hello sir" he said still holding out his hand. Quentin just ignored him. "Ok" Tommy said awkwardly pulling back his hand. Tommy walked over to Oliver and leaned in close. "Does he make you call him sir" Tommy asked.

Oliver shook his head. "No I get Mr. Lance" he whispered back.

"Damn it" Tommy said. Oliver smiled to himself again. Maybe they weren't in the same boat after all. Laurel came down the stairs first in a tight black dress. "Wow you look…" Tommy started but stopped his sentence when he saw how Quentin looked at him. "Beautiful" he finished saying.

"Thank you" Laurel said smiling at him. Just then Felicity walked down the stairs in a red dress that showed off all her amazing curves and her hair was down. Oliver walked over to the stairs.

"You look amazing. Are you sure you want to go on this double date? We could stay home just the two of us" Oliver whispered to her.

"Yes I'm sure. Besides after dinner it will be just you and me" she said. That made Oliver smile.

"Listen up. Me and Donna are going away for the night so we won't be home until tomorrow morning. My rules still apply" he said.

Laurel rolled her eyes. "Dad I'm 18 and out of the house. Those rules don't apply for me anymore" she said.

Quentin shook his head. "Your staying in my house so you will abide by my rules. Understand" he said. Laurel nodded not really wanting to fight with her father. He turned to Oliver and Felicity and saw Oliver had his hand too close to her butt. "Oliver no inappropriate touching or making out in front of the house" he said glaring at Oliver. Oliver let go of Felicity.

"Have fun you guys" Felicity said walking up and kissing Quentin on the cheek. Then she hugged her mother goodbye.

"You too baby girl and you also Laurel" Quentin said. Laurel nodded and kissed him on the cheek.

They all left the house and went there own ways. Oliver, Felicity, Tommy and Laurel arrived at the restaurant and were seated immediately.

"It's unfortunate Sara and Michela broke up. They could have joined us" Felicity said. Oliver and Tommy looked at each other. Thankfully they broke up or they'd be here too.

"Are you kidding? Sara would never be caught dead on a triple date with us. She would think it was lame" Laurel said. They all ordered their food. "So how is the apartment hunting going" Laurel asked Oliver and Felicity as their drinks came.

"We think we might have found a place but we still have to look some more just to be sure" Felicity said.

"I can't believe your actually moving away after high school Oliver" Tommy said. Oliver nodded.

"I know it's crazy right" he said.

"We're not staying down there. Just until we both finish school then we will be moving back here to be closer to our families" Felicity said.

"I'm happy for the both of you" Laurel said.

Dinner was actually better than Oliver or Tommy thought it would be. At the end of the night they split the check and went their separate ways. Oliver and Felicity went to Oliver's house and Tommy and Laurel went to Tommy's house. Oliver and Felicity went up to his room. Once there the clothes came off and they ended up in bed making love to each other. They ended up cuddling together when they were done. "Thank you for the double date. I know it wasn't exactly your idea of the perfect valentine's day but I appreciate it" Felicity said.

"I got to spend it with you. That makes it perfect" he said.

Felicity laughed and rolled her eyes. "Your cheesy you know that right" she said.

Oliver pretended to be offended. "My love for you is cheesy" he said.

Felicity nodded. "A little bit yea" she said kissing him. Oliver drove her home as he didn't want to risk breaking another one of her father's rules and him finding out. He remembered what happened last time.

It was reaching the end of the school year and it was prom night. Oliver had a tux already so he didn't have to worry but Felicity said she was having a dress specially made for prom. He was excited to see it but most importantly he was excited for the after prom party him and Felicity would be having together. He got them a hotel room. It took a lot of convincing from Donna but Quentin was going to let them spend the night together. Neither Oliver nor Felicity were going to argue with him. Oliver finished getting ready and walked out of his room.

"You look really handsome" Moira said as he walked downstairs.

"Thanks mom" Oliver said.

"Have fun tonight" Robert said.

Oliver smiled at them. "I will" he said and he tried to leave but his mother stopped him.

"I'm going to miss seeing Felicity around here after you guys move. She's done a lot for this family" Moira said.

"Don't worry. We won't be gone forever and we'll be back for holidays" Oliver said hugging his mother.

Oliver drove to Felicity's house and rang the bell. Quentin answered the door. "Hello Oliver" he said moving out of the way so that Oliver could enter the house.

"Hello Mr. Lance" Oliver said. Quentin closed the door as Donna walked down the stairs and hugged him.

"Felicity will be down in a minute" she said.

Oliver smiled at her. "Thanks Donna" he said.

"I've got to get my camera. My babies going to prom" Donna said excitedly leaving the room.

"Take care of her Oliver" Quentin said.

"I will make sure nothing happens to her tonight and that…" Oliver started to say but Quentin shook his head.

"I don't mean just tonight. It's obvious to me that your not going anywhere and as much as I hate to admit it you've been good for Felicity. Plus I can tell you love her so I'm trusting you to take care of my daughter once you guys are out on your own" Quentin said holding his hand out for Oliver to shake. Oliver stared at him in shock but shook his hand.

"I always will. I promise" Oliver said.

"OK I'm ready" Donna said walking back into the room. Felicity started walking down the stairs and Oliver stared at her distracted by how beautiful she was. She was wearing a purple princess dress and her hair was down and she didn't have any glasses on.

"What do you think" Felicity asked as she got down the stairs.

Oliver tried to find his voice. "You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen" Oliver said. Felicity smiled at him.

"OK time for pictures" Donna said. After about 5 minutes of pictures Felicity started to get irritated.

"That's enough mom. Me and Oliver are going to leave now" Felicity said.

"Honey it's your prom night. Your kids are going to see these pictures and you and Oliver are going to be able to tell them all about your prom night" Donna said.

"Oh my god mom" Felicity said. Quentin stepped over to Donna and took the camera from her.

"I think you took enough pictures of them. Let them enjoy their prom night" Quentin said. Felicity smiled thankfully at him.

"Thanks dad" Felicity said.

He smiled at his daughter. "Of course honey. You really do look beautiful" he said. Felicity hugged them.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow" she said.

"Have fun" Donna said.

Quentin turned to Oliver. "Be careful out there" Quentin said holding out his hand.

Oliver shook it. "We will" he said.

"So you want to tell me what's going on with you and my father. He actually shook your hand" Felicity said to Oliver as they stood in the gym of the school at their prom.

Oliver shrugged his shoulders. "I guess he accepted that you and me are going to be together no matter what he does" he said.

Felicity smiled. "I knew you would win him over" she said kissing him.

"You're lucky. Tommy still hasn't got past the sir stage" Felicity said.

Oliver nodded. "Yea I noticed that. So why didn't Sara come to prom again" Oliver asked.

Felicity rolled her eyes. "She's boycotting prom. Ever since her and Michela broke up she's been miserable" she said.

"I can understand that. I was miserable last summer when we couldn't see each other. I didn't like seeing people happy and I just wanted to wallow in my own suffering" he said.

"Tommy and Laurel are having a good time in New York. Laurel sent me the pictures" Felicity said.

"It's good to see them still together and happy. Who would have thought it" Oliver said.

"People thought that about us too but look at us now. After high school were moving in together. It's crazy" Felicity said.

Oliver nodded. "It is" he agreed.

Felicity took Oliver's hand. "Come on" she said.

"Where are we going" he asked.

"We're going to dance. We didn't come to prom to just stand around talking" she said.

Oliver shook his head. "I don't dance" he said.

Felicity rolled her eyes. "Come on stop being such a baby. Please for me" Felicity said putting on that face that Oliver couldn't say no to.

He sighed. "Fine let's dance" he said letting Felicity lead him onto the dance floor. The song was slow so they slow danced.

"Thank you" Felicity said as they slow danced.

Oliver looked at her confused. "For what" he asked.

"This year has been incredible and I'm happier than I've ever been. That's because of you so thank you" Felicity said.

Oliver shook his head. "We wouldn't be together if it hadn't been for you. I always thought you deserved better than me. I still do to be honest but the fact is for whatever reason you've chosen to take a chance on me and let me love you so I should be the one thanking you. So thank you" he said.

Felicity smiled at him. "I love you" she said.

"I love you so much" Oliver said and they kissed. They wound up leaving prom early and went to the hotel room to spend their first night together as a couple where they didn't have to hide anything or get anyone home for a curfew or anything. They were just able to be together without any rules. It was the perfect night.

Graduation came faster than either Oliver or Felicity thought it would. Felicity graduated top of the class while Oliver passed all of his classes. He was proud of himself because he had done it on his own without his father having to pay for him to pass his classes. Tommy graduated with a little help from his father. Sara also graduated with relatively good grades. Oliver and Felicity decided they were going to spend the summer home since college didn't start until the fall for them. It gave them time to get everything prepared for the move. Sara got accepted into a program that would take her oversees which she was very excited about. She kept talking about how she had to get away for a little while. Tommy moved stayed living at home with his father. He was going to go to college in Starling city. Laurel was still in law school in New York. The end of summer came and Oliver and Felicity rented a moving truck. They said goodbye to their families and drove away from their home and toward their new life together.
