Oliver sat in his hospital room. He was back home. It felt foreign to him. After all that time on the island this city didn't feel like the place that he had grown up in. "Mr. Queen" a voice Oliver didn't recognize said behind him. He turned around and saw a woman with long black hair standing in the doorway. She walked up to Oliver smiling at him and held out her hand. "My name is Megan. My employer is very interested in your story" she said. Oliver just stared at her hand and didn't shake it. "OK" Megan said awkwardly pulling back her hand. She opened her purse and pulled out a paper and pen. "Like I said my employer is very interested in your story Mr. Queen. If you could just write down a phone number we can reach you at" she said handing him the paper and pen.

Oliver looked at the paper and pen suspiciously. "I've been on an island for five years. I don't have a phone" he said.

"That's OK just write down the number of who you'll be staying with" Megan said.

Oliver didn't know what this woman wanted but he figured it would be a good idea to keep her and her employer close especially if her employer was on his father's list. Oliver took the paper and pen and wrote a number down on it. "This was my mother's house number last time I checked. It might have changed in the last five years though" Oliver said handing her back the paper and pen. Megan smiled at it. "Who is your employer" Oliver asked.

Megan just smiled up at him. "We'll be in touch Mr. Queen" she said leaving the room. He would have to look into her. Right now he had more important things to do. He had a city he had to save. Oliver looked out the window at the city. It was filled with so much corruption and crime he had a lot of work to do. Outside the room his mother had arrived. She looked through the window and saw her baby boy that she thought was lost forever. The doctor walked up to her.

"How is he" Moira asked.

"20% of his body is covered in scar tissue. Second degree burns on his back and arms. X-rays show at least 12 fractures that never properly healed" the doctor answered.

Moira turned to look at the doctor. "Has he said anything about what happened" she asked.

"No" the doctor answered.

Moira turned back to look at her son in the room. "Moira I'd like you to prepare yourself. The Oliver you lost might not be the one they found" the doctor said.

Moira thought about that for a moment but then opened the door and walked in. "Oliver" she said.

Oliver turned around hearing his mother's voice. Oliver held back tears and smiled at her. He couldn't believe he was seeing his mother again. "Mom" he said. Moira smiled at him and walked over to her son. Oliver walked forward a little bit.

"My beautiful boy" Moira cried hugging him. He hugged her back. She kissed his head so grateful her son was back.

"Oliver" they heard someone call from the doorway. He would know that voice anywhere. Oliver let go of his mother and looked toward the doorway. He smiled at who was standing there.

"Felicity" he said running up to her and hugging her so tightly. Felicity couldn't believe it. He was alive. For the last five years everyone told her he was dead but she knew he wasn't. Felicity looked at his face.

"Please tell me this is real" she cried.

Oliver nodded his head. "It is. I'm back" he said. He was crying also. He couldn't believe she was in his arms again and he got to hold her. That was all he wanted for five years. Oliver looked at the doorway and saw a black man standing there. Felicity and Moira followed Oliver's vision to the man.

"I'll be right back" Felicity said. Oliver watched like a hawk as Felicity spoke to the man. Who was this man? Was he her new boyfriend or husband? Had Felicity moved on from him with this man? So many thoughts were going through his head.

Oliver saw Felicity hug the man and he looked away. He knew she most likely moved on but that didn't mean he wanted to watch her hug and love on some other man. He just hoped he treated her well and she was happy. If this man didn't treat her well Oliver would kill him. The man left and Felicity walked back into the room. She smiled at Oliver and he took both her hands. No wedding ring. Well that was something at least. They weren't married. Oliver looked at her smile. He missed seeing that for five years. Honestly he missed everything about her. He could get lost in her smile. "I missed you so much" Oliver said.

"I missed you too" she said.

Felicity looked away like she was ashamed. "Oliver we have a lot to talk about" she said.

Oliver looked at her worriedly. "Is everything OK" he asked.

Felicity nodded and faked a smile. "Everything's fine. It's just so much has changed in the last five years" she said.

"I figured" he said.

The next morning, a limo drove Oliver and Moira to the Queen mansion. Felicity had to work but was going to come by for dinner that night. The limo stopped and the driver got out and opened the trunk. He went to grab the suitcase from the trunk but Oliver stopped him.

"I've got it" he said.

"Of course Mr. Queen" the driver said.

Oliver took the suitcase and looked up at the mansion. This was the house he spent his whole life in but it felt so foreign to him. Everything did. Everything that is except for Felicity. Being around her felt very familiar. Granted he only spent about an hour with her the previous night but it felt familiar and he missed that feeling while on the island. Moira walked up to her son. "It must feel weird being home" she said.

Oliver didn't look at her. "You have no idea" he said.

Moira walked over to the limo driver and sent him on his way. She walked up to Oliver and smiled at him. "Let's go in. Everyone's so excited to see you" she said.

Oliver followed Moira into the house. "You're room is exactly as you left it. I never had the heart to change a thing" she said. Oliver looked around. Everything felt so distant to him.

"Oliver" someone called from inside the house. Oliver put down his suitcase. The man walked up to Oliver. "It's damn good to see you" a man Oliver didn't recognize said to him. Oliver looked the man up and down carefully studying him while Moira smiled at her son.

"It's Walter" Walter said extending his hand. Oliver took it and shook it. He showed no recognition to the name.

"Walter Steele" Walter said. Oliver looked to his mother for some help.

"You remember Walter. He's you're father's friend from the company" she answered the unasked question. Oliver looked at Walter without a word and Walter nodded at him. Oliver walked past him. Walter and Moira looked at each other and Moira nodded at Walter. Oliver smiled walking over to the family maid who was like family.

"It's good to see you Raisa" Oliver said.

"Welcome home Mr. Oliver" Raisa said smiling at him. "Miss Felicity is going to be so happy when she sees you" she said.

"She's coming over for dinner tonight" he said.

Raisa smiled even bigger. She always liked Felicity. She was good for Oliver and ever since Oliver disappeared Felicity hadn't been the same. She was sad and very closed off. Raisa turned to Moira. "Mr. Merlyn called. He wants to join you for dinner" she said.

"Wonderful" Moira said. Oliver heard a door slam upstairs and turned to look. "Oliver, did you hear that" Moira asked as Oliver walked toward the stairs. Oliver's sister, Thea, came to the top of the stairs.

"Hey sis" Oliver said smiling at her.

Thea smiled and came running down the stairs. "I knew it. I knew you were alive" Thea said hugging him. "Me and Felicity never stopped looking. We knew you were out there somewhere. I missed you so much" Thea said.

"You guys were with me the whole time" Oliver asked.

Oliver went upstairs and took a shower to get ready for dinner but more importantly Felicity. He showered standing there letting the water hit for a little while just thinking about everything. Everything he went through on the island. Everything he left behind and everything he was coming back to. He shut off the water and wrapped a towel around his waist and walked into his room. He walked over to the window looking around the room. Nothing was recognizable. He walked over to his mirror. He didn't recognize the person staring back at him. He looked at the scars on his body. He wasn't the same man as he was before. He was someone different, something different. It was raining out and the lightning was really loud. It startled him and he turned around having flashbacks to the island on the dark rainy nights where Felicity was his sunshine through those dark nights. Oliver got dressed in a button down and threw a sweater on over that. He looked at himself in the mirror satisfied and walked downstairs.

Oliver walked over to the table in the living room and picked up the picture of his father and him as a little boy. He couldn't believe his father was gone. He remembered that night like it was yesterday. Unfortunately it wasn't. It was five years. Five years that everyone's lives moved on without him. Oliver heard the front door open behind him. "What'd I tell ya? Yachts suck" his best friend Tommy said from behind him. Oliver smiled and put down the picture turning around. Tommy let out a small laugh. And walked over to Oliver.

"Tommy Merlyn" Oliver said as Tommy hugged him.

"I've missed you buddy" Tommy said. He pulled away from Oliver and Oliver saw the ring on his finger.

"Congratulations man" Oliver said. Tommy looked at him confused. Oliver pointed to his finger. Tommy looked down at his finger and realization hit him. He was an idiot.

"Oh yea that. Obviously a lot has changed" Tommy said.

"Whose the lucky woman" Oliver asked.

"Laurel" Tommy said with a huge smile on his face.

"Felicity" Tommy called out seeing her standing in the doorway.

Felicity smiled at him. "Hello Tommy" she said then she looked at Oliver. "Oliver" she said. Oliver looked at Felicity and she looked so beautiful. Her hair was down and she was in a tight black dress that wasn't too reveling. She looked good. Oliver walked over to her.

"You look beautiful" Oliver said before he could stop himself. He didn't know if he had any right to say that to her anymore. She probably moved on. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that. Not that you don't look beautiful because you do… Oh crap. I said it again" Oliver said quickly.

Felicity smiled and took his hand. "It's OK. Thank you" she said. They just stared at each other the longing to be close to one another coming from both of them but neither one wanted to make the first move. They forgot Tommy was in the room.

"Are you two just going to stare at each other all night or are we going to eat" he asked. They both walked into the dining room.

"Felicity welcome" Moira said walking up to Felicity and kissing her on the cheek. "I'm so happy you were able to come. It's not a family dinner without you" she said.

"Thank you Moira" Felicity said. Oliver smiled at them. All he ever wanted was for his mother to see how amazing Felicity was and now she was referring to her as a member of the family.

Moira turned to Tommy. "Will Laurel and Rebecca be joining us tonight" she asked.

Tommy shook his head as he sat down. "No she's home waiting for the babysitter to come then she's heading to the new club for her sister's night with Felicity and Sara. Plus it's past Becca's bedtime" he said.

Felicity nodded. "I can't stay long but I wanted to come and see everybody" she said sitting down next to Oliver.

He looked at her sadly. "Your leaving" he asked.

Felicity nodded. "Me, Laurel and Sara are going to have drinks at that new bar that just opened 555" she answered him.

Oliver took her hand. "Please come back when your done" he said. Felicity stared at him for a moment than nodded her head.

"Wait a second, you said Laurel was waiting for a babysitter" Oliver said to Tommy as he realized what his best friend had said. Tommy nodded his head.

"Yea. Like I said a lot has changed. Not only are me and Laurel married but were parents too" Tommy said. "Rebecca Olivia Merlyn" Tommy said handing over a picture he had of his baby girl to Oliver.

Oliver took it and smiled. "She's beautiful" he said handing back the picture.

"Thank you" Tommy said. "Enough about me. Anyone else want to tell Oliver what he missed" he said.

"I got into Starling University with high honors" Thea said.

Oliver looked at his sister proud. "That's amazing" he said.

Thea shook her head. "Thank Felicity over there. I couldn't have done it without her" she said. Now Felicity shook her head.

"You didn't need me. That was all you. I can't take the credit" Felicity said.

Tommy looked at Felicity. "You next. Tell Oliver your exciting news" he said.

"It's nothing" Felicity said shaking her head.

Tommy let out a laugh. "It's not nothing. Your just the youngest CEO of your own company in Starling city" he said.

Oliver looked at Felicity smiling proudly. "That's amazing. I always knew you'd do it" he said. Felicity blushed and looked away.

"OK what else did you miss? Superbowl winners: Giants, Steelers, Saints, Packers, Giants again" Tommy said while Oliver sat there silently. Thea looked at Tommy while she ate. "A black president that's new. Oh and Lost they were all dead. I think. Felicity can explain it to you better than I can" Tommy said. Oliver watched as his mother laughed on the other end of the table with Walter. Something was definitely going on between those two. Oliver watched as Walter poured his mother more wine.

Thea turned to Oliver. "What was it like there" she asked. The room got quiet and everyone looked at Oliver.

Oliver thought for a moment. "Cold" he said.

"I got to go. It was nice to see everyone" Felicity said standing up.

Oliver took her hand. "I'll see you tonight. Then we can talk" he said.

Felicity nodded. "I'll see you tonight" she said leaving the room while Oliver watched her go.

"Tomorrow you and me, we're doing the city. We've got a lot to catch up on" Tommy said.

"That sounds like a great idea" Moira said.

"Good. Then I was hoping to swing by the office" Oliver said. Walter was about to take a drink but stopped when he heard Oliver say that. Moira nodded.

"Well there's plenty of time for all that" Walter said putting his glass down. "Queen consolidated isn't going anywhere" he said. Oliver smiled at him as Raisa tripped and almost dropped the bowl of fruit on Oliver but he caught it and stopped Raisa from falling.

"I'm sorry Mr. Oliver" Raisa said. Oliver said something to her in Russian. Everyone looked at him shocked.

"Dude, you speak Russian" Tommy said.

"I didn't realize you took Russian in college Oliver" Walter said.

"I didn't realize you wanted to sleep with my mother Walter" Oliver said. Everyone looked at him shocked. Oliver just stared at his mother his face completely unreadable. Moira looked at Thea.

"I didn't say anything" Thea said. Tommy looked away. This got really awkward.

"She didn't have to" Oliver said. Moira nodded.

"Oliver, Walter and I are married" Moira explained taking Walter's hand. Oliver looked down. "I don't want you to think that either one of us did anything to disrespect your father" she said. Oliver just sat there not saying anything.

"We both believed that Robert like you was gone" Walter explained.

"It's fine" Oliver said. He nodded and stood up. Moira looked at Oliver. "May I be excused" Oliver asked. Moira nodded. Oliver took an apple and started walking away.

"Hey don't forget about tomorrow buddy" Tommy said. Oliver patted Tommy's shoulder as he passed and winked at Thea. He walked out of the room while everyone sat there not believing what just happened.

Felicity made it to the club. She saw Sara sitting at a table and walked over. "Hi Sara" she said hugging Sara.

"I didn't expect to see you here tonight. It's not everyday your boyfriend returns from the dead" Sara said.

Felicity nodded taking off her coat. "I know. I was with Oliver before I came here. I wanted to make sure he was OK" she said. The man from the hospital came in and watched from across the room.

"Does he have to do that? I get that you need protection but he doesn't have to stand over there. He can join us" Sara said.

Felicity shook her head. "Good luck. He won't" she said. Sara waved the man over and he came over.

"How can I help you Ms. Lance" the man asked.

Sara rolled her eyes. "Diggle I already told you, you can call me Sara. You work for my sister not me" she said.

Diggle nodded his head. "OK Sara how can I help you" he asked.

"Join us. If you're going to watch Felicity all night anyway you should at least sit with us. We don't mind" she said.

He shook his head. "I don't want to interrupt you're girls night but I will be right over there if something happens" he said walking away.

"Told you" Felicity said. The waitress came up and put a drink in front of Felicity.

"I already ordered for you. I hope that's alright" Sara said.

Felicity smiled at her sister. "Of course it is" she said looking around. "Wow this place is so nice" she said.

Sara nodded. "I know it is. Joey did a good job with it" she said. "Have you heard from Laurel" Sara asked.

"Tommy came with me to go see Oliver and he said Laurel was waiting for the babysitter" Felicity said. Sara nodded her head. About a half hour later Laurel walked up to the table.

"Sorry I'm late. The babysitter never came and Tommy just arrived home" Laurel said hugging and kissing her sisters.

"That's OK" Sara said.

Felicity nodded. "Yea you didn't miss much" she said.

"We were just talking about Oliver coming back from the dead" Sara said taking a sip of her drink. The waitress appeared and put a drink in front of Laurel. "We ordered for you" Sara said.

"Thanks" she said. Laurel turned to Felicity. "So how is Oliver" she asked. Felicity shrugged.

"He's fine I guess. He just seems distant. I mean he's been gone for five years and went through who knows what so it makes sense but something feels different" she said.

"Have you told him yet" Laurel asked.

Felicity shook her head. "He just got back. I don't want to throw too much information at him" she said.

"The sooner the better" Sara said. Laurel nodded.

"Your going to want him to find out from you and not any other way" she said.

Felicity nodded. "I know. I'm going to tell him. I just have to find the right time" she said.

Laurel put out her hand for Felicity to take. "When you tell him, we'll be right here for you" she said.

"The Lance sisters have to stick together" Sara said.

"Thanks" Felicity said smiling at her sisters.

Outside across the street on a rooftop, Oliver stood out there, in the rain, watching the club in his hood. Adam Hunt, the first name on his father's list, was going to be there tonight. He wanted to scare Adam Hunt into transferring the $40 million dollars he stole into another bank account so Oliver could put the money back to where it belonged. Oliver was also out on this rooftop because he knew Felicity and her sisters were in their and he didn't want any of them to get hurt and Adam Hunt was a dangerous man. So was he. He saw a limo pull up and Adam Hunt got out. Adam Hunt walked into the club. Now was the time for Oliver to go after him. Oliver disappeared into the shadows and arrived at the club. He saw Adam Hunt and a couple of his men walking down a hallway. He had to stop him before he got into the actual club. Oliver jumped down through the glass ceiling and landed in front of Adam and his men.

"Who are you supposed to be Robin Hood" he asked. Oliver didn't say anything. He just raised his bow. Adam Hunt's men all pointed their guns at Oliver. "Take him down" Adam said as his men charged at Oliver. Two of Adam's men got him out of the club. Oliver fought the men. Shooting them with arrows. He looked around and didn't see Adam Hunt anywhere. Damn it. He got away. Oliver was going to leave the club when a scream stopped him from leaving.

"Oh my god" the woman screamed behind him. He turned around and saw Laurel Felicity and Sara standing there. Laurel and Sara were looking around at the men on the floor horrified while Felicity was looking at the man in the hood. Oliver just stared back at her. Something seemed familiar about that man to Felicity.

Diggle came running in front of the three sisters. "Stay behind me" he said pulling out his gun. "Who are you" he yelled. Oliver recognized the man as the man from the hospital. The one Felicity was hugging and everything. Her new boyfriend? Oliver didn't answer but instead pulled out a sphere and threw it on the floor before Diggle knew what happened. It exploded and when the smoke cleared the man in the hood was gone.

Felicity was driving over to the Queen mansion thinking about what had just happened. Who was that man in the hood? She didn't know why but there was something familiar about that man. Something in her gut told her he wasn't bad. Felicity shook her head. The last thing she needed in her life right now was some hooded man complicating it. Diggle wanted to go with her to the Queen mansion but Felicity insisted on going by herself. It took some convincing but Diggle finally agreed to let her go by herself. She needed to be alone with Oliver. She had stuff she had to talk to him about. She didn't know how Oliver would react but she just needed to be with him. For five years she never gave up. She knew he was still alive. Everyone except for Thea told her she needed to move on but she couldn't. She knew he wasn't dead. She would have felt it if he was. She was right all along. Now he was back but he was more distant than ever. She pulled into the Queen driveway.

Raisa greeted Felicity at the front door and let Felicity walk up to Oliver's room. When she got there he knocked on the door. "Come in" she heard him answer. He was standing by the mirror when she walked in and smiled when he saw her. "Hi" he said. "

Hi" she said smiling at him. She walked in and closed the door. She sat on the edge of his bed. He sat down next to her.

After about a moment of neither saying anything Oliver finally spoke. "Felicity I missed you so much" he said. It took everything in him not to touch her but he didn't think he had that right anymore. She moved on.

Felicity nodded. "I missed you too" she said.

Oliver decided to cut straight to the chase. "I know I don't have any right to say this but I just needed to be near you again. What we had was special and I know that you have something special with someone else and I can't but I still love you. I always will even though nothing can happen anymore because your with someone now. I'm sorry I just needed you to know" he said not looking at Felicity. She looked at him confused. She grabbed his face and turned it to look at her.

"What are you talking about? Who do you think I'm with" Felicity asked.

"That guy who was at the hospital. You moved on with him. As long as your happy and he treats you right I'm happy for you" Oliver answered.

Felicity shook her head. "John Diggle? Trust me Oliver. Nothing is going on between me and John" she said.

Oliver looked at her confused. "I saw you hugging him" he said.

"I was thanking him for coming with me on his night off. He's my bodyguard and my friend but trust me there is nothing romantic going on between me and John" she said.

Oliver looked hopeful. "How do you feel about me now" he asked.

"I still love you. I always have. That never went away. I never gave up on you for these last five years" Felicity said. Oliver couldn't help himself. He kissed her passionately. She pulled away. He looked at her concerned.

"What's wrong" he asked.

"You just got back Oliver. I don't want us to move too fast" she said.

Oliver shook his head. "Trust me. We're not moving too fast. I waited for five years to be back with you. All I want is to spend the night with you" he said.

Felicity nodded. "I want that too" she said. They started kissing again both enjoying being this intimate together and both missing how this felt. Oliver unzipped Felicity's dress while Felicity took off his sweater and started unbuttoning his shirt. She looked at his chest and gasped. Oliver looked away embarrassed.

"I know it's not what you were expecting but…" Oliver started to say but Felicity interrupted him.

"I'm so sorry Oliver. I can't even imagine what you went through" she said.

Oliver turned to look at her. "If you don't want to spend the night anymore I understand" he said. Felicity pulled his shirt off his shoulders and kissed him again. There was nothing she wanted more. They wound up making love to each other everything feeling right in the world for the first time in five years to both of them.

A couple hours later Felicity woke up. She felt the other side of the bed and realized Oliver wasn't there. "Oliver" she called out sitting up. She saw Oliver laying by the window with the window opened. "Oliver" she called out. He didn't respond. She got up, put his shirt on and started to walk over to him.

"Felicity" she heard someone from behind her call. She turned around and saw Moira and Walter standing there.

"What's wrong with Oliver" Walter asked seeing him laying on the floor.

Felicity shook her head. "I don't know" she said turning around and walking over to Oliver. "Oliver wake up" Felicity said shaking him. "Oliver" she said. He suddenly woke up and flipped Felicity. He held her arm and put his hand to her neck.

"Oliver" both Moira and Walter yelled. Oliver looking up and seeing his mother and Walter looking at him realized where he was. He looked down and saw himself chocking Felicity. He let go of her and crawled away horrified at what he had just done. Felicity coughed as Moira and Walter helped her up.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry" he cried out. Felicity held her neck and walked over to him.

"It's OK Oliver. I'm alright. You're home. Whatever you went through on that island doesn't matter anymore" she said leaning in to hug him but Oliver stood up and shook his head.

"You have to leave. You have to stay away from me. Please I'm too dangerous" he said. Felicity walked over to him and he walked away into his bathroom and locked the door. Felicity Moira and Walter all looked at each other. In the bathroom Oliver looked in the mirror. He thought he could be with Felicity but he was wrong. He was too different and too dangerous.
