Tommy and Martin Sommers ran into the warehouse with Oliver following right behind them. Oliver loaded his bow and shot into the crate next to Martin's head. "Oh god no, no, no" Martin yelled out.

"He can't help you" Oliver said loading his bow with another arrow. Tommy stopped running and looked back at Martin then at the man in the hood. Oliver turned to him. "Leave. NOW" Oliver yelled to Tommy. Tommy didn't hesitate and ran out of the warehouse. Oliver shot another arrow on the other side of Martin's head pinning him there. "I want the truth about Victor Nocenti" Oliver yelled.

"I can't. The triad will kill me" Martin said.

"The triad's not your concern right now" Oliver said loading his bow again. He shot it right next to Martin's right leg.

Martin yelled out scared for his life. "All right, all right, all right, it wasn't me that killed him. It was the triad" Martin said.

"Acting on who's instructions" Oliver asked.

When Martin Sommers didn't answer Oliver loaded his bow once again and shot it above Martin's head. Martin yelled out in fear. "WHO" Oliver yelled out.

"All right, all right, it was my order. Nocenti said he was going to testify against me" Martin said in fear. He looked behind the man in the hood. Oliver turned around and saw China White standing behind him.

"Move away from him" China said in Chinese.

"Make me" Oliver responded back in Chinese. China tried to stab Oliver with her knives but he moved out of the way in time. He started to block her attacks moving back as Martin watched from his place by the crate. Oliver tried to hit her but she blocked his attacks. They were both very skilled. She tried to kick him but he ducked. She was able to land a kick to his back which made him fall to the ground. Police sirens could be heard in the distance. They continued blocking each other's attacks.

China White was able to land another kick to Oliver. Oliver got up quickly and continued blocking her attacks. The sirens were getting closer as Oliver and China continued to fight. Martin watched them trying to escape. China kicked Oliver to the ground again. Before they could continue their fight they heard the police outside. "This is the police. Drop your weapons" one of the cops said over a megaphone. Oliver quickly got up. He and China ran in the opposite directions trying to get out of the warehouse. Getting caught by the police was not part of his plan. "You are surrounded. Come out with your hands up" the cop said into the megaphone. Oliver got out of the warehouse through the side. He ran and threw his bow on top of a large storage unit. Oliver climbed up the storage unit and grabbed his bow. He ran across it and jumped off. Quentin cam out from behind another storage unit with his gun raised.

"Freeze" he yelled pointing his gun at Oliver. Oliver stopped running and stood there with his head down. Aw crap. This wasn't good. "You twitch and your dead" Quentin said stepping closer to the man in the hood, his gun still pointed at him. "Bow down. Hands up" Quentin ordered. Before he knew what happened Oliver threw a arrow at Quentin's gun and it went flying into the storage unit behind him. Quentin looked down at his hand in disbelief. He looked at the gun then behind him and was shocked to see that the vigilante was gone. He looked back at the arrow seeing that it was blinking. He walked over to it and looked behind him to make sure the man in the hood was really gone. He touched and realized it was a recording of Martin Sommers admitting to having Victor Nocenti killed. "Son of a bitch" he said. The rest of the cops came over to where Quentin was. Quentin looked around shocked. He couldn't believe this man whoever he was just helped them nail Marin Sommers.

The next morning, Oliver was in the liar. He put his bow away and took off his hood and mask. Oliver started taking his suit off. Today was the day his mother and Walter were going to announce him as the head of the applied science division. If he was going to keep his promise to his father he couldn't be the Oliver his mother wanted him to be. Oliver sighed. He knew what he had to do. It was going to hurt his family but he had no choice. He had to stay focused on his mission. Oliver took his jacket off. This was hard for him. He loved his family so much but he had to be the person he needed them to see him as even if they didn't like it. And he knew they wouldn't. He didn't like disappointing them but this was what he had to do. He took the photo of Felicity out of the crate and smiled down at it. He loved her so much and even though he knew they shouldn't be together he couldn't not be with her. He wanted to make this work even if she did deserve better than him.

Across town where Moira and Walter were going to announce Oliver as the new COO of the applied science division Tommy walked through the crowd. He had flowers in his hand. He knew Laurel was going to be here. He needed to apologize. He didn't go home the previous night. Instead he stayed at the Queen Mansion. He didn't know what to say. Laurel and Becca were attacked and it was partially his fault. If he had lost them he didn't know what he would do. He felt like an idiot for working with Martin Sommers. He was a dangerous man and he never should have gotten involved with him even if he did want to take his father down. Tommy saw Laurel standing on the side looking at her phone. He took a deep breath and walked over to her. Here goes nothing. "Laurel" Tommy called. Laurel looked up from her phone and saw her husband standing in front of her. "I'm sorry Laurel. You were right. I never should have…" he started to say but was interrupted when Laurel ran up to him and started kissing him.

"I'm so happy to see you. I was so worried" Laurel said hugging Tommy tightly tears falling from her eyes.

"I'm OK" Tommy said.

"You weren't answering your phone and I was so scared something might have happened to you" Laurel said pulling back.

Tommy saw that she had been crying and wiped her tears. "I'm sorry. I just needed time to figure everything out. When I heard you and Becca were attacked I was so scared and I know it's partially my fault. I'm so sorry" he said.

Laurel took his hand. "I'm sorry too. I never should have had Felicity bug your phone. It wasn't right. I was just so worried for you" she said.

Tommy nodded. "I never should have put you in that position. It's just I've been struggling Laurel. I can't support you and Becca financially the way I should so I've made the decision to talk to Felicity and accept her job offer if it's still available" Tommy said.

Laurel smiled at him. "Really" she asked.

"Yea" Tommy said. Laurel kissed him passionately.

"Where's Felicity" Tommy asked.

"She had meetings today that she couldn't get out of. She wishes she could be here though" Laurel said.

"Good afternoon and thank you all for coming" Walter said walking onto the stage and up to the podium. "Welcome to the future site of the Robert Queen Memorial Applied Sciences Center" he said as everyone clapped. Diggle walked to the front of the crowd. Moira and Thea smiled on the side of the stage. Tommy and Laurel smiled over at them. "Now this is a building that will stand as a monument to the man whose company and vision are his greatest legacies" Walter said. Before he could continue Oliver interrupted him.

"Whoa! Whoa" Oliver called out form the back of the crowd. Everyone turned to look at him. Oliver walked up and took a drink of champagne off a tray a woman was holding and drank it. Moira and Thea watched him embarrassed while Laurel and Tommy looked at him confused. What was he doing?

"What about me? Right. I'm a legacy" Oliver asked walking up to the stage. "Hey thanks for warming them up Walt" Oliver said as he reached the stage. Thea couldn't believe Oliver was ruining this. She looked at her brother in disbelief. "All right. Fine, fine. Shovel. I got it" Oliver said taking the shovel Walter had in his hands from him. Oliver walked up to the podium. He pretended the shovel was heavy and pretended that he almost dropped it. Moira just looked at her son disappointed. Walter stood beside Oliver not knowing what he was doing. "I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I got it. I got it" Oliver said. Laurel looked at Tommy who just shrugged his shoulders not knowing what Oliver was doing. "Some of you may not know me. My name is Oliver Queen" Oliver said. Moira and Thea watched Oliver closely. Diggle looked up at Oliver and shook his head. He couldn't believe this was his job. No one said anything though.

"Watch some television, read the newspaper. I'm kind of famous right now. Mostly though I'm famous because I'm Robert Queen's son. Uh, but as Walter, who's my new dad… Huh? Who is…" Oliver started to say but saw the unimpressed look Walter was giving him. "Sorry. As Walter was saying I'm not much of a legacy per say and…" Oliver was saying when Walter leaned in close to him.

"Oliver, you don't have to do this" Walter started to say but Oliver interrupted him.

"No, sit. Sit. Gosh" Oliver said. Walter sat down next to Moira. "See, I was supposed to come here today and I'm supposed to take my rightful place at the company. Prodigal son returns home and becomes the heir apparent" Oliver said. Tommy and Laurel just stared at Oliver not sure if they should go up on stage and stop him. "I'm not my father" Oliver said. Thea watched as her brother gave his speech. "I'm not the man he was. I'm not half the man he was. I never will be. So please stop asking me to be" Oliver said as he put the shovel in the dirt and walked off the stage. Her held onto a man to keep his balance. Tommy, Laurel, Thea, Moira and Walter all watched Oliver leave not believing what just happened. Diggle followed after him. Thea looked around at all of the press and reporters embarrassed. Laurel and Tommy looked at each other not sure what just happened. Oliver walked away feeling bad for embarrassing the family but this was how it had to be whether they liked it or not.
