--Musutafu City: Downtown--

Mineta saw the bodies of the street, numbering at least a few hundred people. None of them were moving save for one lone officer in the middle of all the bodies.

He almost hurled right there at the smell alone, the smell of corpses in the hot sun. The strange thing was that there was not even flies around the bodies.

Upon closer inspection, Mineta noticed.

The flies were dead too.

This place was practically a morgue, as all the bodies bore faces whose eyes were wide, shock on their pale expressions at whatever they may have seen before their lives were taken.

Mineta's hands were shaking. He almost pissed himself at the sight. All was quiet in this lane, as silent as the screams that were not heard while class 1A was transported.

Iida seemed stiff, the shock of so much death all at once being too much for him to bear as he clenched his jaw in what Mineta could notice was red hot fury.

Aizawa sighed. He didn't want teenagers to have to witness such atrocity, and yet here they were, forced to deal with such a maddening sight.

"What should we do Aizawa?" Midnight asked. Even her body language suggested that she was shook to her core and not in her usually aroused way. She couldn't gaze at the sight for long before revulsion appeared on her face.

"We wait for the others to get here. Harukaze is around somewhere. If we leave now, he'll only get away." Aizawa said.

Midnight seemed to disagree. "We should leave while we can and regroup first."

Aizawa took a survey of the quiet environment. Two officers from their truck were already guiding the surviving officer to their convoy. The lone officer had a busted leg as he was carried over, tears emanated from his eyes at the fact that he was saved.

"That's the thing, if we try to leave, Harukaze will strike." Aizawa had a stern glare, he seemed battle ready considering his posture.

Mineta and Iida began looking around for any sudden movements, keeping an eye at alleyways or scaffolding where someone of Harukaze's caliber could be hiding.

Aizawa kept his eyes focused, ready to subdue the murderer in case he showed up.

The sun which was once steaming against them was slowly covered by an ever-growing cloudy sky as the heroes were practically feeling this sensation of an overwhelming force coming in.

Mineta was frantic in his thought process.

'If this guy is that dangerous then he has home field advantage. He already knows how to strike a lot of people at once. But where!? Alleyways, windows, where would he attack from anyway!?'

That's when it hit him. Harukaze's quirk was called Black Wind right?

He looked at the street, more specifically at the bodies. There were no signs of cuts on their faces, they were in fact bearing broken limbs. And to top it all off, the bodies were in a straight line in front of him towards a few blocks away.

He felt his stomach drop. As if everything was in slow motion he grabbed his sphere and placed one on the floor. He used another as a slime rope to immediately grab Aizawa, Midnight and Iida and bounced on the sphere into an alleyway.

As the four were midair, they were able to see a torrent of black colored gust bulldoze its way through where they were standing, lifting the bodies off the floor, cars and smashing through windows plastered along the sides of buildings.

Mineta's heart was racing as he landed in the alleyway. Aizawa used his straps to grab onto a nearby rooftop in midair and send Midnight over there. Midnight in turn held onto the three heroes towards said rooftop.

They needed a view as to Harukaze's position, from the direction of the black gust, he was currently on ground level.

Aizawa and Midnight checked the streets and noticed a figure running into the opposite alleyway.

Their ear radios were on. The voice sounded in pain.

"Aizawa we're pinned down! Harukaze flipped the convoy over. I think he's trying to get the surviving officer."

Aizawa looked pensive, analyzing the situation.

"I saw him, he made it into the alleyway heading west." Aizawa responded.

"Hurry! We're under some debris, we can't get out even if we wanted to." The voice said.

Aizawa looked at the convoy they rode. A building was literally on top of them at the moment. The situation is getting worse as without proper air, those men would suffocate.

Aizawa heard another voice on the radio.

"Helloooo! What the hells going on!?" Mountain Lady was trying to reach Aizawa.

Aizawa thanked his lucky stars. The radio didn't work on ground level for the survivor due to Harukaze but here high up there's reception.

"I see now why no one made it here in time!" Midnight said.

"He was a bank robber, tinkering with and sabotaging tech is his specialty." Aizawa analyzed.

On the rooftop, Mineta was with Iida who was watching for any sudden movements.

"Team 1,2, and 3 we have made contact. I'm sending a signal as to our position."

Aizawa pressed a small support item. It was small and had a small red button. As soon as Aizawa pressed it a little radio antenna came out.

Mineta looked at the item. "What's that Aizawa?"

"It's called a Loud Mouth, a little something our little runaway won't be able to tamper with. It's older tech, used to use it on the job with Present Mic. Once its signal is out, pretty much everyone hooked to its signal's gonna know where we are. All that's left is to last until the others get here."

The radio in Aizawa's ear scrambled.

"Looks like Harukaze has upped the game. The intercoms jammed." Aizawa said matter of factly, as he knew Harukaze would probably not want intercoms on during his spree to avoid detection for as long as possible.

The team heard a prominent beep sound. Before the team could notice.

BOOM

CRACKLE

The rooftop that the team was on had been blown via an explosive charge, causing the team to fall downwards into the building underneath them. Aizawa used his strap to carefully land along with Iida. Mineta used a sphere slime rope to grapple on Midnight's right boot as she used her whip to prevent her fall entirely, her looking downward at the others from the rooftop.

At least before a silhouette landed near her position and kicked her downward, causing her and Mineta to land harshly on ground level near the other two. Debris fogging up the hallway of the once occupied building.

Aizawa looked up, noticing the speed of the assailant who jumped downwards near their position, Midnight having to grab Mineta and roll over speedily to avoid getting themselves stomped on.

"Are you okay Mineta?" Midnight asked, ensuring the safety of her student.

Mineta blushed as Midnight's curvature was engraved to muscle memory. It felt amazing, but unfortunately it was at the worst possible time.

The lone silhouette stood and shifted its body towards the four heroes in the hallway, which stretched about 70 feet with several other pathways intersecting each other. The figure stood tall and took a slow paced walk to the four.

"Kuro Harukaze."

The figure stopped.

"Bankrobber now murderer. I'm not exactly sure what caused you to choose the path you took in life, but it ends here." Aizawa said, his eyes narrowing as his straps began unfurling threatingly.

The figure stood for a few seconds.

Then took another step and another.

The figure continued walking, into the lone light in the middle of the hallway, broken but constantly turning on and off.

The figure was revealed. Kuro Harukaze. His attire consisted of a pair of navy blue jeans with a pair of dark brown boots. His torso was wrapped in a gray zip up hoodie, and over it he wore a black puffer jacket. Considering the hood was currently on, it was clear that the outfit was meant for hiding as opposed to fashion. He was an escaped convict, and considering the somewhat used condition of the clothing, they were definitely not his own.

His face on the other hand was what really identified his identity. He still bore the same shaved head, goatee, and a similar angular face. That was where the similarities ended however.

There were some notable differences compared to his mugshot. For one his skin tone did not match. Before, the mugshot depicted a man bearing a pale skin tone. Now his skin tone appeared almost gray. His almond shaped neutral eyes that were prominent in the mugshot were no more, as they were currently narrowed and focused much akin to a hunter that has found its prey.

The final thing about them that brought fear to Mineta

Was that both the sclera and pupils were pitch black.

As black as death.

Aizawa maintained eye contact, to subdue the felon in front of him.

"Harukaze, I'm not gonna repeat myself. Stand. Down." Aizawa said icily, his authoritative voice permeating through the hallway as his eyes glowed with his quirk being activated.

Just as Aizawa activated his quirk. Harukaze stood stiffly. He inhaled.

And clicked his mouth twice.

Aizawa's eyes widened.

Harukaze is using echolocation!

Aizawa tossed a strap to restrain Harukaze.

WHAM

A loud echo resounded in the hallway, as Aizawa was decked far through a window on the other side of the building.

Midnight would have used her quirk, but with Iida and Mineta both here, she would put them to sleep as well. She instead used her whip to grapple Harukaze's outstretched hand which hit Aizawa.

"Mineta, Iida stay back!" Midnight said.

Iida grabbed Mineta who wanted to help Midnight and rushed to Aizawa as he was currently dangling by his strap on the window. His eye on the right side was shut as he took a really heavy blow.

'He's fast! No wonder he was a successful bank robber! Combined with his knack for tech, his skill set is perfect for heists.' Aizawa thought to himself as Iida picked him up.

Harukaze slowly turned his face towards Midnight, his purely black eyes meeting hers.

"Someone's been a really bad boy. Normally I would take my time with guys like you, but right now I'm not in the mood." Midnight taunted before spraying him with her quirk.

The Somnambulist quirk emanated from her body, slowly filling her immediate area with the pink aroma of sleep. Harukaze's eyes seemed to droop before he shook and breathed in,

And blew out black smog from his mouth in the hallway.

Midnight coughed as the smog was thick and burned her lungs.

FWOOP

SMASH

Harukaze had attacked her utilizing her own lack of vision from the smokescreen, dropkicking her through the wall near them, debris and wooden splinters coating Midnight from the impact.

Harukaze stepped forward towards the notorious adult themed hero, but he felt something latch onto his back and was pulled hard, causing the felon to bump his head onto the wall opposite Midnight.

Mineta had gone back to Midnight's position, with a bit of Aizawa's strap used as an improvised mask to protect himself from his spray.

"You stay away from her you bastard!" Mineta said through the mask, the strap was of well make and was thick enough to keep Midnight's spray out.

Harukaze immediately used his hand to grab the slime rope and pulled Mineta towards him, followed by a hard punch towards Mineta's face.

Mineta however used a sphere and placed it in front of him, causing it to grow sporadically.

BOING

SPECIAL MOVE: GRAPE AIRBAG!

Harukaze's fist had landed on the airbag, his fist now stuck in the velvety sphere.

Mineta knew he couldn't fight him face to face, right now he was focused on getting Midnight.

Iida was currently holding Aizawa, who was limping, coughing from the punch to the gut. Some blood dribbled from his mouth.

Iida was concerned. "Aizawa are you okay!?"

Aizawa shook his head in the negative.

"I'm not…he hits a lot harder than I thought he would. But don't worry about me help Mineta! *cough*cough*"

Mineta was currently picking up Midnight, while Harukaze was busy trying to unstuck himself from the grape airbag.

"My quirk is not working on him. You need to get out…" Midnight said.

"No! I'm not leaving you here! Not you! Okay I got you just hold on!" Mineta used his slime to keep her attached to his side as her height alone prevented him from having her properly lean on him. Her legs also were dragging on the floor, indicating her current state.

"*chuckle* You know…I always wanted someone to tell me that with such enthusiasm…you're officially my favorite student." Midnight let out.

Mineta couldn't help but smile at that. Midnight flirting with him aside, it shows she's still okay albeit beaten up. Iida came and sped them towards Aizawa as Harukaze was stuck with both hands on the large grape airbag, eyes furrowed and irritated.

The four now regrouped, Mineta pulled another sphere out, about to throw it like a baseball.

Harukaze clicked his mouth, his eyes widening before he breathed deeply and closed his eyes.

BAMPH

He vanished into a black smoke stream, the grape ball Mineta threw going past his smoke form.

Mineta stared in shock.

"He could become black smoke too!"

BAMPH

Harukaze reformed, his breathing was a little prominent but calmed as he had teleported himself off the grape airbag, now free again.

Harukaze's clothes had slipped off during his smoke transition, enabling the four heroes to see him fully.

Harukaze's body was full of scars and horrendously marred by burn marks and prominent blade-like marks. He was lean and muscular, and despite not bearing pants or shoes at the moment he possessed a chitin like substance all over his lower body, serving as a makeshift pants and legwear. The chitin-like skin was pitch black, and form fitting, his toes bearing talon-like protrusions that fused with his chitin coated feet. Harukaze's hands had the same material and similar thick black talon-like claws emanating from the area where normal human nails would be.

The radio intercom statically turned on, it would seem that someone was breaking through.

It was Deku.

"Hello Aizawa! Guys are you okay?" Deku said, with worry prominent in his voice.

"Deku, we're still here. Where are you?" Aizawa asked, his voice somewhat strained.

"Oh thank goodness you're okay! We're heading there right now on foot, all powers been shut off!" The cinnamon roll said.

Midnight looked outside. He was right.

That and there was no light in sight even three feet in front of her outside. It was like an abyss. The sky was blackened with no sunlight.

"I also did some digging on forums for Kuro Harukaze! In his time at Hydra Prison…*static*" Deku said as the radio static interrupted.

"What was that Midoriya?" Mineta asked as Harukaze rose on his knees slowly.

The radio static cleared up. "Harukaze hasn't used his quirk in 17 years…because his quirk amplifies with every breath he takes in!"

All four looked at Harukaze who was taking deep breaths.

"If any of that is true, then he's been planning his escape for 17 years!" Deku warned.

The others' eyes widened as Harukaze narrowed his eyes.

"Get out of there!" Deku warned.

Harukaze unveiled a mouth full of sharp fangs.
