--Downtown Musutafu Abandoned Building--
"Get out of there!" Deku warned.
Harukaze unveiled a mouth full of sharp fangs.
"Hold on!" Mineta let out as he used a sphere and commanded it, causing it to shoot out three slime ropes, however it wasn't for Harukaze, it was for his team. Mineta then did something crazy.
He threw himself out the window in a dive. His team followed suit though against their will. Midnight felt her stomach drop as she was looking downwards towards the pavement which would serve as her death. Aizawa pulled out a strap, ready to latch onto anything at any moment. Iida flailed his arms around as he was shocked. One second he was in the hallway, the next he was falling to what he assumed to be his death.
The short statured hero used two spheres and mashed them together midair and commanded them again as grape jam. The thing is though, he spread it outward, arms raised above him. Thin ropes of slime shot outward from the jam, evenly tying themselves around his teammates above ground.
FLAP
Aizawa's eyes widened, realizing what his perverted student was doing. Seeing it though, he couldn't really believe it.
It was molded into a grape-colored paraglider. Big and sturdy enough to carry all four of them.
SPECIAL MOVE: GRAPE GLIDER
"Mineta! I didn't know you could do that!" Iida commented.
Mineta sweatdropped as he still needed to maintain focus to keep the shape up, his eyes bore red cracks in his strain.
"I didn't know either! Honestly I didn't think it would work!" Mineta admitted.
Aizawa sweatdropped. "You bet all of our lives on a gamble! Well, it's a lot better than what I had in mind."
Midnight hugged herself in sensuous arousal.
"So passionate when you said 'Hold on!', and used your quirk in such a creative way! Color me impressed."
Harukaze stood there at the rim of the window where Mineta jumped and clicked his mouth. His eyes widened. He then took two steps back before he leaped far. He inhaled and turned into a black smoke stream headed straight for the team.
"Behind you!" Aizawa warned the others.
Aizawa used a strap which only went through the incorporeal form of Harukaze. Iida tried to kick it, causing the same result.
Harukaze turned back to solid form, kicking Iida hard before grappling Mineta. In a last second command Mineta caused the paraglider to restructure itself for Aizawa and Iida who was already stunned from the blow. Mineta then let go of the paraglider, causing him and Harukaze to fall downwards midair. Midnight used her whip to latch around Harukaze's neck, seeking to protect Mineta causing her to fall with them.
Harukaze's gaping maw of carnivorous denters brought instinctual fear to Mineta's mind as the beast of Hydra Prison grabbed him with his chitin coated arms. It was horrifying seeing those teeth as the encroaching darkness began obscuring the outside cityscape. It was as if he and his team had stepped into the depths of hell, especially when combined with the growing sense of despair that came with it.
'This guy is nothing like what we were told in the report. We didn't have a team setup like the others, we're mainly good in terms of holding him. But without anyone to keep him busy…we're at a disadvantage.' Mineta thought to himself, his hands fidgeted a bit. He took a sphere and shot it at a street lamp. In this darkness, the tall structures were the only thing he could see with the lack of lighting. He used another sphere to pull Midnight against him as her whip was attached to Harukaze's neck.
Mineta swung hard causing Harukaze to almost crash against the floor before he inhaled and turned into another black stream of smoke. Midnight was pressed against Mineta's back, holding onto him as he swung from street lamp to street lamp. He was sweating like crazy from the focus needed to maintain the spheres shape, as well as the bodacious beauty against his back. Her curvature pressed against him again.
Midnight was staring gobsmacked. "Oh my! Such intensity! So unexpected! It's getting me all hot and bothered! Show me more Mineta! It's like watching a masterpiece of art!" Midnight said, getting turned on by how Mineta is literally swinging rope after rope using a single sphere and commanding it back to sphere shape before latching to another street pole.
Aizawa used a strap to connect himself and Iida along their paraglider. He used another strap to navigate their glider until they made it safely to ground level.
Iida massaged his stomach. Aizawa asked him. "Are you okay Iida?"
"A little bruised, but my armor kept most of the damage away. You're right when you said he hits hard! I'm going to help the others. Aizawa, can you go check on those men trapped in the convoy?" Iida asked.
Aizawa wanted to protest, but he was unfortunately not fit for combat. Harukaze's punch had practically broken his ribs. The least he can do is get the task force squad they were assigned with to safety.
Aizawa sighed and nodded. Iida made the right call.
"Do it…" Aizawa said, though he hated feeling useless.
Iida sped off, Aizawa using his straps to swing across the street quickly towards the convoy.
--With Mineta and Midnight--
The perverted duo kept swinging, forced to avoid Harukaze who kept inhaling to literally fly in his smoke form and reform to take a swing with his clawed hands. Each time he reformed, Midnight would use her whip to block or hit him off. Mineta was focused with simply swinging away from the inmate.
Mineta latched to another street lamp, before Harukaze took his right clawed hand and chopped it off, the lack of a grip causing Mineta to lose focus and fall with Midnight. Mineta used a sphere as an airbag to for Midnight to land on. He would've landed as well if it weren't for Harukaze who in solid form grappled Mineta midair, smashing through a window into another building.
Mineta and Harukaze rolled like ragdolls as they smashed through several walls from the velocity of the tumble.
Mineta got up and ran, dragging his left leg a bit from the aching pain. Harukaze clicked his mouth before he followed him slowly.
Mineta took a left into another hallway before hearing a beep.
BOOM
CRACKLE
An explosion blew near Mineta, causing him to hit his back against the wall.
'Dammit! He placed bombs here too! He must've put them all over this streets' buildings. I gotta take this fight outside or I'll be blown to bits!' Mineta said before hearing more clicking, along with the heavy steps of Harukaze's clawed feet.
Harukaze appeared before him in a burst of black smoke before attempting to strike Mineta. Mineta used a sphere rope to connect towards the ceiling before having to climb upside down using his spheres in a manner much like he did at the class1A summer camp.
Harukaze leaped and using his chitin coated, taloned hands and feet climbed upside down with Mineta. He began clawing and tearing pieces of the ceiling as he chased after the small boy.
Mineta then used another sphere to bring himself back to ground level in the direction behind, propelling him in a diagonal direction. This brought him close to Harukaze for only a split second but since he was distracted with his pursuit, enabled the purple pariah to swing away far from his reach. He then commanded his spheres still on the rooftop to explode as grape jam, tying Harukaze from neck to toe in slime against the ceiling.
Harukaze struggled against the slime, he was like a mouse on a glue trap, completely bound and needlessly struggling.
Mineta was breathing hard.
"Got you now! There's nowhere to run! You're going back to your cell you son of a bitch!" Mineta let out, collecting his breath.
Harukaze then inhaled and closed his eyes, bursting into black smoke, and thus escaping through the jam, as his head wasn't covered.
The smoke shifted and collided against Mineta, smashing through another window as the two fell towards the streets.
Harukaze solidified as he was breathless.
Mineta noticed this.
'He has to hold his breath in order to burst into smoke! But I gotta know for sure!' Mineta used a sphere and tied a slime rope around Harukaze. Some of the jam blocked his mouth. Harukaze's eyes widened at the fact he was tied against Mineta, with his jaw tightly shut before he could burst into smoke.
They spun like a drill towards the pavement.
"Go on! Try to escape this!" Mineta yelled as his eyes were razor sharp. Harukaze kept trying to move his arms within the slime rope.
Midnight, who was running to catch up, saw the two falling.
"Oh my god! Mineta!" She yelled in shock.
BOOM
A large explosion of smoke and concrete could be seen far from her as the two landed head first on the ground.
Midnight began sprinting.
As the smoke cleared, Mineta had landed on the spheres on the back of his head, completely cushioning his fall. Harukaze on the other hand, used his left chitin arm, freed from the slime in order to keep his head from impacting the ground.
The smoke had obscured Mineta's vision, causing the slime to unstick from them both! Mineta was shocked.
'My grape jam! I lost focus!'
He also came to notice smoke emanating from Harukaze's nostrils.
Harukaze exhaled a hard hitting gust of his quirk against Mineta who grunted from the impact, forced to detach from the street in order to roll himself upright. Harukaze used the velocity of his breath to propel himself backwards away from Mineta. He reoriented himself using his taloned feet like roller skates, the talons scraping against the street with sparks emanating from the point of contact from the tips of his claws. He bursted into smoke, the slime now removed from his entire body as it had nothing to stick to. The strange thing was, the burst that he did before was a lot quicker and more sporadic.
'He could still use his quirk by breathing through his nose! But it's not as good!' Mineta surmised as Harukaze narrowed his eyes in Mineta's direction. He breathed out and solidified.
He then took a combat ready stance. His left arm extended, talons ready. His right arm was more to his side, and his legs were arched and balanced. It was sturdy and yet ready to move anywhere considering how he practically skated on his feet earlier.
The hero and the villain stared each other down. Both were breathing a bit tired. Harukaze's breathing was intense from exertion and constant use of his quirk. Mineta was breathing from the adrenaline. Mineta slowly pulled two spheres from his head, arching his legs in preparation for combat.
A still silence filled the street as the two super-powered beings readied for their duel.
Harukaze clicked his mouth, the subtle sound echoed like a gunshot against their eardrums before they sprinted towards each other.
Harukaze inhaled in order to travel as smoke near Mineta's position, the inmate solidifing in order to strike with his claws, having to click each time with his mouth in order to spot Maneta through the use of echolocation.
Mineta utilized a counter based method of fighting, where each time Harukaze struck with his talons, he would use a grape airbag or grape jam in order to tie him, forcing Harukaze to burst into smoke in order to back away and unstick himself.
Harukaze couldn't make a definite strike against Mineta due to his usage of his quirk, whilst Mineta couldn't keep him tied up for long due to the prisoners quirk.
The more this happened the more the two realized that this battle was akin to a wild goose chase. Harukaze couldn't touch Mineta, and Mineta couldn't keep him grounded for long.
Harukaze used a final talon strike towards Mineta before Mineta latched on to a nearby street lamp.
Harukaze clicked his mouth twice, breathed in and let out a deep breath that resulted in thick smog appearing in front of him.
'What the hell is this guy doing? His echolocation should've spotted me!' The boy said as he dangled in the street lamp.
What happened next made Mineta realize just how truly dangerous Harukaze was because just as he breathed out Mineta noticed him stick his chitin clawed hands into the smog, causing it to attach itself to his limbs. The black thick smog in his position swirled around the convict before propelling itself as a maelstrom of black deadly wind. Newspapers and bits of rock and glass were pulled into the spinning black smoke around his arms.
Harukaze turned towards Mineta and swung both his hands in an x-like motion. This caused a miniature tornado to head straight for his position, smashing concrete and cars as it went.
This resulted in Mineta not being able to have enough strength to actually hold on to the street lamp that provided him a bit of distance from this dangerous felon.
'Crap! His quirk! He keeps using it for different uses!' Mineta thought to himself as he held on for dear life as the black tornado went to his position.
Mineta realized both he and Harukaze have quirks that enabled them to use it for a variety of purposes. For Mineta this enables him to stick onto things and latch onto things in many ways. He can even mold his spheres. As for Harukaze his lungs alone enable him to not just blow smoke and manipulate it but also to unstick himself from Mineta's spheres.
Harukaze's quirk is a perfect counter to Minata's.
Mineta grappled via a slime rope towards an alleyway away from the open streetlane, where the black whirlwind was. He then heard a smoke burst from behind. Harukaze swung his right clawed hand at Mineta. Mineta used the sphere on the back of his head to stick the claws against him before detaching. Harukaze then exhaled smoke and dipped his left hand into it before swinging it in Mineta's direction who was trying to retreat.
The talons of his left hand looked as if they extended twice their size as he swung with the smoke wrapped around them, before they dissipated back to normal size.
Mineta screamed in pain; he felt the stinging sensation of a blade cutting his back when he ran. Even though Harukaze's claws made no contact with him, his smoke took the shape of his chitin claw and acted as a pseudo blade under the criminals' command.
Blood droplets could be seen staining Harukaze's hand with some of the small boys' blood.
'Shit! It hurts like hell!' Mineta thought to himself as he felt his back stinging from the claw mark he received.
'This guy is reading my movements! I can't keep fighting like this. I gotta be smarter otherwise I'm gonna end up dead!' Mineta said to himself.
He used another sphere; this time he will have to engage in a more offensive role. He splattered some grape jam onto Harukaze's left arm.
'Melt!' Mineta commanded the jam.
Harukaze had the look of someone who had just felt fire for the first time as his eyes were wide in recognition of the incinerating pain, the sensation of his own body melting apart by the strange grape-like substance that is currently on his left hand.
He screamed in agony before holding his breath and disappearing, his smoke body now dissipating and retreating to gain some distance away from Mineta. Harukaze ended up rolling on the ground and getting up feeling the stinging sensation of blood running down his left arm. It twitched in agitation.
Harukaze and Minetta had a stare down. The silence permeating through the air.
Harukaze clicked his mouth and burst into smoke again. At first he looked like he would strike from on top of Mineta, then he burst again to strike from behind Mineta.
BOING
Harukaze accidentally landed on a small regular sphere behind Mineta causing him to be shot upwards.Mineta had commanded to bounce him off.
Mineta bounced on it as well, utilizing a sphere as a rope to grapple Harukaze and spin mid air before slamming down. A move he used on Kirishima yesterday.
SPECIAL MOVE: JAM DROP
However, unlike with Kirishima, he didn't provide a cushion, causing Harukaze to haphazardly land on the pavement hard in an explosion of concrete and garbage cans in the alleyway. He grunted from the unexpected move. Whatever air he inhaled was let out from the impact against the ground.
Harukaze shook his head before getting up again.
Mineta, with blood on his back and a scratch on his face specifically on his left eye from Harukaze's last attack, raised the sphere in Harukaze's direction in a challenging manner.
Harukaze furrowed his eyebrows before rising and realigning his right arm which had broken from his landing.
POP
He forced it back into place with a gut wrenching pop.
"What are you waiting for? I could do this all day!" Mineta said, ready for a long winded fight between brainiacs.
Harukaze's eyes narrowed before he cracked his neck and got into a more looser stance. Facing in Mineta's position.
RUMBLE
The alleyway lit up as a flash of a thunderstorm echoed throughout the area.
Harukaze's eyes widened.
Because behind him were two others. One of them bearing a whip.
