Oliver walked into where the auction for Unidac industries was being held. He watched from the balcony as the security team took Warren Patel away. On the other side of the room Quentin was speaking into a walkie. "Unit one, all clear. Unit two, you copy" Quentin said into the walkie.

"We have Patel in custody. Still no sign of Lawton" one of the security guards, Hilton said over the radio.

"Unit three" Quentin asked.

"I'm at the northwest perimeter. All clear" a woman answered.

"Unit four" Quentin asked.

"Parking structure is secure" a man said into the walkie.

"Unit five, what's your status" Quentin asked.

"This is unit five. All clear" Deadshot said into the walkie. Not realizing he was speaking to Deadshot, Quentin nodded. All was good right now.

Across the room, Oliver's phone buzzed. He took it out and looked at it. It was a message from Felicity. "Sorry I couldn't be there tonight. Tell Walter I said good luck. Love you" her text read.

Oliver smiled and replied back with "Will do. Love you too".

Across the room Quentin was watching the people come in looking for Floyd Lawton. "Dad" Laurel called out walking up to him with Tommy.

Quentin shook his head. "I told you to go have dinner with Donna and Becca. I'd be there when I'm done here" he said.

Laurel shook her head. "After the vigilante made a point to make sure you were here not a chance" she said.

"That is exactly why you should be with Donna and Becca right now" Quentin said.

"You know what babe he's right. Maybe we should go have dinner with Donna and Becca. You know Donna's not exactly the best cook" he said.

Laurel turned to her husband and shook her head. "Becca's fine with Donna. Donna's ordering takeout tonight. Besides she loves being with Becca. If this is where the vigilante wanted my father than I'm staying" Laurel said.

Quentin shook his head. "You know I don't know who is worse with this vigilante. You or your sister" he said.

"Maybe me and Felicity aren't scared of him and we're willing to give him a chance" Laurel said.

Quentin shook his head and sighed. "Well if you insist on staying enjoy the auction. Let me deal with the bad guys" Quentin said. He turned to Tommy. "I trust that I can trust you to look after my daughter and make sure she doesn't get herself into trouble" he said. Laurel was going to argue some more but Tommy grabbed her arm stopping her.

"We'll stay out of your way sir" Tommy said. Quentin nodded and walked away.

Laurel turned to Tommy and pulled her arm out of his grasp. "Why did you do that? The vigilante specifically told us to come here and…" Laurel started to say but Tommy grabbed Laurel's shoulders and shook his head.

"The vigilante told your father to come be here not us. He's right we should go and enjoy a nice family dinner with Donna and Becca. Your father will join us later" he said.

"I think I preferred when you and my father disagreed about everything" Laurel said. Tommy laughed.

"I don't feel comfortable with my wife going around following what some psycho in a Robin Hood costume says" Tommy said.

"He saved our lives Tommy" Laurel said. Tommy nodded.

"The next time I see him and he isn't attacking anyone I'll be sure to thank him" he said. Laurel just shook her head. Tommy grabbed her hand. "We really should go. Your father's going to be fine. This is what he does" he said.

Laurel sighed. "Just give me about two more hours to make sure my father's OK than we can leave. I promise" Laurel said.

Tommy sighed. "Fine" he said. Laurel wrapped her arms around Tommy's neck.

"Besides it's a night out for us together alone and you know I love seeing you in a suit" she said seductively.

Tommy smiled at her suggestively. "Really well when you put it that way" he said kissing her. They finished kissing and walked toward the stairs hand in hand. Before they got to the stairs they ran into Oliver.

"Oliver hi" Tommy said.

Oliver put a fake smile on his face. "Hi guys" he said looking around the room.

"Where's Felicity? I would think she would have been here to support Walter" Laurel said.

"She had to work late tonight" Oliver answered not looking at his friends.

"Are you OK Oliver? You seem distracted" Laurel said. Oliver finally looked at them and nodded his head.

"I'm fine. I just can't believe how many people are here. It's a little overwhelming to be honest. What are you guys doing here" he asked. They weren't supposed to be here. His message to Quentin was very clear. Him and the cops were supposed to be here to protect all these people not Tommy and Laurel when one of them could get hurt.

"We're here to support Walter" Laurel lied.

Tommy nodded. "Hey Oliver have I shown you this yet" he asked pulling out his phone and showing it to Oliver. Oliver looked at the photo which was of a city with a red and blue blur in the sky.

"What am I looking at" Oliver asked.

Tommy shook his head. "Come on man can't you see him. Right there. It's the first photo of Superman that my friend Jimmy took and he sent it to me" he said pointing to the blur on his phone.

"You mean that red and blue blur" Oliver asked.

"Well obviously he's flying off to save someone" Tommy said.

Oliver nodded his head. "Who's Superman" he asked. Tommy looked up at Oliver in shock like he had just gotten punched in the face.

Laurel rolled her eyes. "Here we go" she said under her breath.

"Superman is just the greatest superhero on earth. Metropolis is lucky to have him. Unfortunately we don't have anybody like him here in Starling. We just have that masked lunatic in a Robin Hood costume" Tommy said. Oliver stared at his friend. If only he knew. "He became public about two or three years ago. It was a big deal" Tommy said.

Oliver nodded. "While I was trying to survive on an island" Oliver said. Tommy and Laurel didn't say anything. "I have to go" Oliver said.

Oliver walked through the building but was stopped when Quentin walked up to him. "Oh don't you scrub up nice" Quentin said.

"Here to support my family" Oliver said.

"Yeah, me too, God help me" Quentin said.

"Thank you" Oliver said. Quentin looked at him and scoffed.

"I'm surprised my daughter isn't here with you" he said.

"Felicity had to work late. She couldn't make it" Oliver said.

Oliver looked and saw Diggle standing across the room. "I got to go" Oliver said going to walk over to Diggle but Quentin grabbed his arm.

"I need a favor" he said.

"OK" Oliver said slowly.

"I need you to watch Felicity and make sure she stays away from that masked psychopath that is running around this city. Her and Laurel seem to be fascinated by him. She might actually listen to you if you tell her to leave him alone" Quentin said.

Oliver nodded. "I will make sure Felicity is safe" he said.

"If you notice anything out of the ordinary with Felicity or see that hooded freak around just give me a call" Quentin said. Oliver nodded.

Quentin let go of Oliver and let him walk over to Diggle. "Dig. Got your eyes open" Oliver asked.

"That's what I'm here for. Also to answer patronizing questions" Diggle said.

"This guy's out of time. If he's going to do something it's going to happen before the auction" Oliver said.

Diggle looked at him confused. "Sir" he said.

Crap Oliver thought to himself. He screwed up. He shouldn't have said all of that in front of Diggle. He turned to Diggle. "I heard the story on the radio" Oliver lied.

"Oliver" Walter called out.

Oliver walked over to him. "So pleased you're able to attend" Walter said.

At the building across the way Deadshot was readying his gun. He aimed directly for Oliver. "Felicity told me to tell you she said good luck" Oliver said.

"Where is she" Walter asked.

"Working late. Walter the police said that some of the Unidac bidders were murdered. I just think that we should be a little bit more careful. My mother's already lost a husband" Oliver said.

"Well if Moira shared your concerns she wouldn't have come and she definitely wouldn't have brought your sister" Walter said picking up a wine glass pointing to where Moira and Thea were standing. Oliver didn't know what to say. He looked over to where Walter pointed and saw Moira and Thea standing there talking. Walter took a sip from his wine glass. At the building across the street Deadshot kept his target on Oliver and put his finger on the trigger. A billionaire was going to die tonight.
