Vanessa slowly opened her eyes and was met with light, she quickly closed her eyes, and then she felt the stingy sensation of pain go through her body. She then tried to sit up after a few minutes and observe her surroundings. Her eyes widen and her mind goes into overdrive to try and make sense of her current predicament.
Wh-… where the hell am I?!
There was light pouring down on her from above but the rest of the cavern was dark. She was surrounded by pillars that looked rotten with age. She tries to remember how she got here and then it hits her. The last thing she remembered was that kid kicking her leg which made them fall.
The kid!
Vanessa looked all over the cavern but she did not see Gregory. Where has he gone?! That little shit is going to get himself killed! Vanessa looked at where she was lying and she noticed flowers. Since when could flowers break people's fall?! But that doesn't matter Vanessa- no Vanny has to find that kid! She has to get his remnant for her master.
You let him get away. You should have been more careful.
"I'm sorry I won't let it happen again."
You won't. You collected the taps. You are who I chose to help me continue my work. You will find him. You know what will happen to you if you don't.
Vanny felt a surging pain go through her head and she gritted her teeth. She nodded. She had to do this. Her master has to come back and the sooner she gets the remnant and gets out of here, the sooner master can come back.
"I'll get him. You have my word."
Good. Your mask is missing. Find it.
Vanny's eyes widened. Her mask! How could she have forgotten? Her new identity relies on that mask! It was a part of her now! She has to find it! Vanny quickly ran frantically around the cavern looking around it for any sign of her mask. Eventually, Vanny breathed a sigh of relief when she found her mask near one of the pillars.
She felt the familiarness of the fabric in her fingers. It felt good to feel it once again. Vanny put the mask on and instantly she felt the familiar feeling of relief and dread every time she put on the mask.
Vanny walked deeper into the cavern at the side of the room and at the end, there was a doorway on her left. She pauses as she looks at the doorway. Why would there be a doorway deep inside the mountain? Who would even live here? Wait… the legend… is true?! Vanny was shocked but her master interrupted her thoughts.
If the legends are true, then we'll have to be extremely careful with what we do and be aware of our surroundings. There is also the question that if we encounter such 'monsters' then how strong will they be and let us get what we want?
Huh, I was thinking about when I'll have to get my hands dirty. They might be an interesting challenge, don't you think? Vanny says, twirling her knife in her hand.
She goes through the doorway and what she sees next shocks her to her core. There was a Flower in the middle of the cavern but it had a face! So the legend is true! She felt dread and excitement. She hopes this thing would be her first monster kill!
Interesting. I wasn't expecting this. It is fascinating.
WHAT THE HELL?!
There are two new people in The Underground?! This has got to be a joke! It was surprising enough that one new kid fell here and now there is another new person?! What does she think she is wearing? A rabbit suit, she must be crazy! No time to think about it though, maybe she will be easier to trick into giving me her soul.
"Howdy! I'm FLOWEY. FLOWEY the-" Wait a moment what is she doing? She is skipping toward me. What is she 5? At this point, I am completely weirded out. She then made me enter a battle. What?! This is not the way it's supposed to go! Whenever someone falls here I am the one who's supposed to start the battle!
Vanny skips towards you.
The text box says as the battle starts. So her name is Vanny. Who climbs a mountain wearing something like that? Okay, no problem this should still be easy.
Wait a second…
HER LOVE IS AT 13! It would take many kills to raise her LOVE that high! She must have done some pretty awful things to have it at that level! Her soul was weird as well. I could see that it is a perseverance soul, but it has weird black cracks around it. It looks as if the black is coating it, and there are also green specks on the purple that looks as if they're glitching.
What the heck is wrong with her soul? There is something weird going on with her. But now that the shock has worn off my smile widens. With this power, she can mow down any monster that she comes across! My thoughts are interrupted though when she swings a knife down at me and I dodge it.
"Ha! I see that this isn't your first time trying to kill something. I'm impressed by your efforts. Since you have shown what kind of person you are I won't even bother trying to trick you. Welcome to The Underground! I already know that I am going to enjoy watching you go through it!" I then disappear into the ground leaving the battle. I can't wait to see the look on Frisk's face when they run into her!
This is going to be so much fun!
These new people are unexpected. That boy from earlier had a little bit of LOVE so I definitely will be monitoring him closely. But now that this woman in a rabbit suit is here I feel a new bit of excitement flow through me. She looks ruthless and crazed. She is just what I need. Frisk doesn't look like they are going to listen to me any time soon. But this new person looks like she enjoys doing what Frisk refuses to do. If I can take control of her, I can finally escape The Underground and finish the humans for what they did to me.
Once she is mine we will have so much fun! So new partner let's see what you're capable of!
