Oliver walked into the queen mansion still shivering. He couldn't believe the masked person was able to get the jump on him. He almost froze to death. Luckily someone saved him but who? He was still cold. He had to find out who those two masked people were. They were becoming a real problem. Also he was worried that he might lose Felicity. If Tommy or Diggle told her about him being the vigilante he knew what her reaction would be. She'd want to help and she'd get her self into danger and possibly get herself killed. He couldn't let that happen. He wouldn't let that happen. He had to talk to her but that could wait until the morning. Right now all he wanted was to take a nice hot shower and then go to bed. It had been a long night. He walked over to the stairs and started walking up them. "Oliver" he heard the voice he would know anywhere call out behind him. He turned around and saw Felicity standing at the bottom of the stairs.

"Felicity" Oliver said shocked. Felicity ran up to him and hugged him crying.

"Where were you" Felicity asked.

"What are you doing here" Oliver asked. Felicity pulled back from him and looked at him.

"I heard about the shooting and I wanted to make sure you were OK" she said.

Oliver smiled at her and grabbed her hand. "I'm OK" he said.

Felicity cried and hugged him again. "Everyone was so worried about you. No one knew where you were. I was so scared I lost you again" she cried.

Oliver pulled back and kissed her. "You haven't lost me. I'm fine. I promise" he said.

"No one had any idea where you were" Felicity said sniffling.

Oliver pulled her into a hug. "I'm not going anywhere. Not this time" he said.

Felicity felt Oliver shiver against her. She pulled back and looked at him. "Are you sure you're OK? You're shivering" she said.

Oliver nodded his head. "I fell in a very cold pool trying to get away from the shooter. I had to get a change of clothes before I came home. Sorry for worrying everyone" he lied.

Felicity looked him up and down knowing he was lying. "You fell in a pool" she asked. Oliver nodded. "Let Moira, Thea and Walter know you're OK. They've been so worried. We all care so much about you" she said. Felicity went to leave but Oliver grabbed her hand.

"Felicity" he said. She stopped walking and looked up art him. "Thank you for coming" Oliver said.

"Of course. Your family is like a second family to me. I care about them, Oliver. Next time make sure you let someone know where you are so we all don't worry" she said. She pulled her hand out of Oliver's and went to leave.

"Wait Felicity" Oliver called out. She turned around and looked at him. "Have you heard from Tommy or Diggle tonight" he asked.

Felicity looked at him confused. "What" she asked.

"I haven't seen either of them since the shooting and I wanted to make sure they were OK" he asked.

"Laurel text me that Tommy is home and so did Diggle" she said.

"Have you talked to them though" Oliver asked.

Felicity continued to look at him confused. "Oliver, what…" Felicity started to ask but Oliver interrupted her.

"Please Felicity it's important. I need to know. Have you talked to them personally at all tonight" Oliver asked.

Felicity sighed and shook her head. "Just those text messages, though John did say he had something he wanted to talk to me about" she said. Oliver breathed a sigh of relief. They haven't told her yet but Diggle was going to tell her. He had to talk to him. Felicity walked up to Oliver and put a comforting hand on his face. He looked at her. "You know you can tell me anything right? I'm here and I'm not leaving" Felicity said smiling at him.

Oliver smiled back at her. Her hand felt so warm and comforting against his face. He felt safe and loved around her. He took her hand and kissed it. "Stay" he said.

Felicity looked unsure. "Are you sure" she asked.

Oliver pulled her close to him. "All I want is to be with you tonight" he said kissing her.

Oliver and Felicity stood there kissing passionately when someone cleared their throat behind them. They stopped kissing and turned around and saw Thea standing there. They all stared at each other. They hadn't really talked since that night at the club. "Oh, man. Here we go" Oliver said under his breath. Felicity lightly nudged him in the side.

Thea walked up to the couple and looked down at the floor. "I'm glad you two are here. I wanted to apologize. I was really harsh at the club the other night. I'm sorry" she said.

Felicity smiled at her and hugged her. "It's OK" she said. Oliver smiled and hugged her to.

Thea felt him shivering. She pulled back and looked at him. "Are you OK? You're shivering" she asked.

"Sure" he said. Thea looked at him unsure. "It's been a long night and I think I need to just be alone with Felicity. I'm kind of tired" he said taking her hand.

Thea smiled at them. "Yeah" she said nodding.

"Good night" he said pulling Felicity with him up the stairs.

"Night" Thea said watching them go upstairs.

Once Oliver and Felicity were upstairs, in Oliver's room, they started passionately making out. Felicity undid his tie and took it off. Then she pushed his blazer off his shoulders letting it fall to the floor. Felicity unbuckled Oliver's belt and pulled it out of his pants while Oliver continued to kiss her passionately. He continued kissing her as he got his shoes and socks off. Oliver unzipped Felicity's dress letting it fall to the floor. Felicity kicked off her heels and started unbuttoning Oliver's shirt. She let it fall to the floor and then she unbuttoned his pants which fell down. Oliver stepped out of them. Felicity smiled at Oliver and took his hand. She led him over to the bathroom turned on the shower and took off her bra and panties. "I'm feeling a little dirty. You want to join me" she said stepping into the shower.

Oliver gulped and pulled off his boxers. He stepped into the shower and smiled at the love of his life. He pinned her against the wall and started kissing her. "I love you" Oliver said between kisses.

Hours later, Oliver and Felicity were asleep in Oliver's bed. Oliver kept tossing and turning having some sort of nightmare.

Lian Yu

Oliver sat in the cave and took the photo he had of Felicity out of his wallet. He stared at it. He had to get back to her no matter what it took. The man who shot him walked into the cave holding a cage with a chicken in it. Oliver looked up at him. The man put the cage down next to Oliver. Oliver looked in it and saw the chicken walking around in the cage. The man said something in Chinese and pointed at the cage. He walked away. "What am I supposed to do with that" Oliver asked. The man answered Oliver in Chinese. "Does that mean bird" Oliver asked. The man knelt down near the cage. Again he answered Oliver in Chinese. "I don't speak Chinese" Oliver yelled at him. The man stood up and walked away. Oliver went back to looking at the photo of Felicity. "I'm sorry, Felicity. I'm so sorry. I'm going to get back to you. I promise" Oliver said.

Present

Oliver jolted awake and gasped. He looked next to him and saw Felicity peacefully sleeping. He didn't want to wake her up. She looked so peaceful and happy. He watched her sleep and smiled at her. He was lucky. For some reason unbeknownst to him Felicity loved him. She deserved better. He knew that, she knew that, hell everyone knew that. Was he being selfish? Was him trying to have a life with Felicity and him being the vigilante right? It wasn't fair to her but he couldn't lose her. She gave him the strength to fight everyday on that island. All he wanted for the last five years was to get home to her. He finally was home and with Felicity again and all he could think about was that he was holding her back. He never wanted to stand in her way of anything. While he was gone she thrived. She started her own business and became the youngest CEO in Starling City. She was doing good in the world like she always wanted to. Maybe she was better off without him. He lightly kissed her and walked out of the room.

Oliver walked downstairs rubbing his eyes. He was surprised to see Thea sitting on the couch watching T.V. eating chips. "Couldn't sleep either" Thea asked as Oliver sat down next to her.

"No. What are you watching" Oliver asked.

"Peter Declan" Thea said. Oliver looked at her confused. "The guy who killed his wife" Thea said. Oliver shook his head and turned back to the T.V. "This guy killed his wife in their babies room. Psycho" Thea said shaking her head. They watched Peter Declan on the T.V. talk about how he couldn't kill his wife. "So why can't you sleep" Thea asked turning off the T.V.

"Bad dreams" Oliver answered.

"About" Thea asked.

"Felicity" Oliver answered turning to look at his sister.

"What about Felicity? She's fine right" Thea asked moving to get off the couch.

Oliver held out her hand stopping her. "She's fine. She's sleeping upstairs I didn't want to wake her" he said.

Thea looked at her brother concerned. "Then what is it" she asked.

"Nothing" Oliver said looking away from her.

"Oliver can I ask you a question" Thea asked. Oliver looked at her and nodded. "Whatever happened to you proposing to her? You were going to do it after you and dad got back from you're trip. Why haven't you done it yet" Thea asked.

"There are reasons" he said.

"What are they? Besides the fact that you've been gone for five years and the fact that her father isn't the biggest fan of you and you being a jerk to everybody since you've been back" she asked.

"Those are the top ones" Oliver said smiling at his baby sister. Thea let out a little chuckle. Oliver and Thea looked away from each other. "I know that it might not seem like it sometimes but I'm not the same person I used to be" Oliver said.

"So show her. Be yourself. I mean, your new self. Trust me Felicity will accept whoever this new version of you is" Thea said.

Oliver looked away sadly. "That's the problem" he said.

Thea looked at him confused. "What do you mean" she asked.

"What if she's better off without any version of me? I mean look at everything she accomplished while I was gone. She started her own business, became the youngest CEO in Starling City. I know she'll never admit this but what if I'm holding her back and she's better off without me" Oliver asked.

Thea shook her head. "You really are an idiot you know that right. You and I both know Felicity would have accomplished all that even if you were still here. She's amazing and special and trust me she would have preferred to do it all with you rather then without you" Thea said.

Oliver smiled sadly at her. "I just don't know if the new me fits into her world" he said.

Thea smiled at her brother. "I know I'm your little sister and everything but let me give you some advice. Don't give up on you and Felicity. Take it from someone who knows and loves both of you, you're better together than you are apart. Don't ever doubt that. If anyone can make it work, it's the two of you. If you ask Felicity she would tell you the same thing" Thea said.

Oliver smiled at her. "Thank you" he said.

In the morning Oliver and Felicity walked down the stairs holding hands and laughing. They walked into the living room where Moira was sitting on the couch reading the newspaper while a man neither one of them had seen before was standing in the corner of the room. "How did you guys sleep" Moira asked not looking up from the newspaper.

"Just fine, thank you" Oliver said.

Moira looked up at Felicity and smiled at her. "Felicity, honey how's your mother? I haven't seen her in ages" Moira asked.

Felicity smiled back at her. "She's good. Her and my dad just got a new house so she's been focused on that lately" she said.

Moira nodded. "We must find a time to get the families together. We are going to be in laws someday" she said.

Oliver looked at his mother blushing. "Mom" he whined.

Moira rolled her eyes. "Oh come on Oliver, everyone knows that someday we will be attending your guy's wedding. You're very lucky to have a woman like Felicity that loves you so much" she said.

"I know. I am" Oliver said smiling at Felicity who smiled back at him. He looked at the guy standing in the corner of the room. "We have a visitor" Oliver said.

"Mr. Diggle's replacement" Moira said.

Oliver and Felicity looked at each other surprised. "Replacement" Oliver said.

"Yes. He tendered his resignation this morning. He was looking for Felicity and heard she was here. You were both sleeping when he came here and I didn't want to wake you guys so he gave it to me instead. I had to find someone else" Moira said putting down the newspaper.

Felicity looked confused. "He didn't say anything about that when he text me" she said.

Moira nodded. "He wanted to tell you in person. Apparently he has something to talk to you about" she said.

Oliver looked nervously between his mother and Felicity. "Did he say why" Oliver asked.

"He said he didn't approve of the way you spend your evenings particularly given that they always begin with you ditching him" Moira said.

"Hi" Oliver said to his new bodyguard.

"Mr. Queen. Rob Scott. I'll be your new body man" Rob said shaking Oliver's hand.

"Firm grip you got there, Rob" Oliver said.

"That's five years SWAT with Monument Point MCU" Rob said.

Oliver nodded. "I feel safer already" he said.

"Thank god we don't have to hear about this awful man anymore" Moira said from her spot on the couch.

Oliver and Felicity turned to look at the tv. Oliver took the remote from the table and turned up the volume. The reporter on the tv talked about how Peter Declan was going to be executed in two days. "Jason Brodeur" Oliver said to himself.

Felicity and Moira turned to look at him. "What" Felicity asked.

"The dead wife worked for Jason Brodeur" Oliver said.

"Apparently so. Why" Moira asked.

Oliver shook his head. "No reason" Oliver said putting the remote back on the table.

Just then Felicity's phone went off. She looked at it. "I got to go. Laurel and Sara are waiting for me" Felicity said.

"That's OK. I have to take care of something myself" Oliver said to Felicity. He turned to Rob. "Say Rob. I want to go into town. Would you please get the car for me" Oliver asked.

"No offense Mr. Queen but I've been filled in on your tendency to slip the leash. If it's all the same to you I'd prefer keeping you in my sights at all times" Rob said.

Oliver smiled at him. "We're 20 miles from the city. If you don't drive me, how else am I gonna get there" he asked. Rob thought about that for a second. Oliver smiled at him knowing he was thinking about it. "Right. Now I'm going to walk Felicity out. Please have the car ready when I get back" he said. Rob nodded and walked out of the room to get the car ready. Oliver looked at his mother and threw out his hands. "I like him" he said. He took Felicity's hand and walked her to the front door.

"I should probably talk to John about this. This isn't like him" Felicity said.

"NO" Oliver said quicker and louder than he meant to.

"Is everything OK between you two" she asked.

"Yea. It's just you have a lot on your plate you shouldn't have to worry about Diggle. I'll talk to him" he said.

"Are you sure" she asked.

Oliver nodded. "Of course. Don't worry about it. Just go have fun with Laurel and Sara. I will talk to Diggle. I promise" Oliver said.

Felicity smiled at him. "OK" she said.

He kissed her passionately. "I love you" he said.

Felicity smiled at him. "I love you too" she said. She walked out of the house, walked to her car and looked in her purse for something. She took out the sketch of the vigilante. She studied it closely. She had to know if the man she loved was the vigilante. She was going to find out. She started her car and drove off.

On the other side of the driveway Rob waited with the car for Oliver when Oliver drove past him on his motorcycle waving as he went. Rob waved back then realized it was Oliver. "Hey" he yelled out as Oliver continued to drive away.

Oliver arrived at the lair and was surprised by what he saw sitting on the table. His bow and quiver with the arrows in it were on the table. He thought the criminals who knocked him out had them. How did they get here? He walked over and saw a note attached to the quiver. He picked up the note and read it. Thought you would want these back. Stay out of my city. Oliver looked around. Somehow whoever had saved him knew where his lair was. How though? Oliver thought for a moment then it hit him. He took out his suit and searched it. It had to be somewhere on here. He kept searching until he found what he was looking for. Hidden in the sleeve was a small tracking device. Whoever saved him must have planted it on him. Damn it how could he have been so stupid. He threw the device on the floor and stomped on it, crushing it. He walked over to his computer and sat down. He looked up information on the vigilante in Gotham.

He found out that the vigilante was called Batman or the dark knight. He wrote down as much information as he could find on this Batman. That was tomorrow's problem. Right now he had bigger things to deal with. Oliver looked up information on Peter Declan. All the reports Oliver could find on the man said that he murdered his wife in cold blood. He had no alibi and all the evidence pointed toward him. He was tried convicted and sentenced to death. It was an open and shut case. There was something off about this case to Oliver. Peter's wife Camille worked for Jason Brodeur. He was also on the list. This was something he had to take care of. Oliver picked up the book and skimmed through it until he found Jason Brodeur's name. He couldn't let Peter Declan go down for this if he was innocent. He needed to help him and make sure Jason Brodeur didn't get away with this if he had something to do with it. He knew exactly who could help him bring down Jason Brodeur.

Across town Felicity sat at the table completely zoned out in the restaurant she was in with Laurel and Sara. She was thinking about Oliver and how he might be the vigilante. "Hello earth to Felicity" Sara said waving her hand in front of Felicity's face. Felicity shook her head pushing her thoughts about Oliver to the back of her mind.

"Are you Ok? You've been zoned out for the last five minutes" Laurel asked.

"Yea what's going on" Sara asked.

"Nothing. I promise. Works just been really crazy. So Laurel you were saying Tommy's out of town or something" she said to her sister.

Laurel nodded. "Yea he went to Metropolis to visit his friend Jimmy Olsen and took Becca with him. The weird part is before he left he told me to stay away from Oliver. He said he would explain everything when he got back" she said.

Felicity and Sara looked at her. "Why would he say that" Sara asked.

Laurel shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know but I was hoping you knew what was going on Felicity" she said.

"I have no idea. Honestly Oliver's been acting weird lately" Felicity said. She didn't want to tell them about her suspicions about Oliver being the vigilante. The last thing she needed was for one of them to tell their father.

"Weird in what way" Laurel asked.

"John quit as Oliver's bodyguard and when I said I would talk to him Oliver was insistent that he talk to him first. It's just really weird. Something definitely happened between them" Felicity said.

"Do you think Tommy and Diggle are mad at him for the same reason" Sara asked.

"No idea but John said he had something he had to tell me" she said.

"What do you think that is" Laurel asked.

"I don't know but I intend to find out" Felicity said. The sisters paid their bill got up from the table and walked outside. They were walking to Felicity's car when all of a sudden they were grabbed from behind. "What are you doing? Let go of us" Felicity demanded the men placed hoods over hers, Laurel and Sara's heads and threw them in the back of a van and drove away.

In the lair Oliver was making arrows for his bow. If he had to guess Oliver would say Brodeur was definitely involved in that woman's murder which means her husband is innocent and he is facing execution. He needs a good attorney. Luckily Oliver knew exactly where to find one. He took out his phone and dialed Laurel's number. The answering machine answered. "Hi Laurel it's Oliver. I have to ask you something so when you get the chance call me back" Oliver said into the phone leaving a message. Oliver looked through his phone contacts and found Diggle's number. He sighed and called it. No answer. "Hi Dig. I just want to make sure you're OK with everything that happened. We should meet up. Call me back when you get this" Oliver said leaving a message for Diggle. Oliver found Tommy's number and dialed it. He was shocked when someone picked up the phone. "Tommy we need to…" Oliver started to say but then the phone disconnected. "Talk" Oliver said hanging up.

Felicity Laurel and Sara were seated in chairs and the hoods were taken away. They looked around. Felicity saw the person sitting behind a desk smiling at them. She knew exactly where they were. Argus. "Welcome back" Amanda Waller said.

"What is kidnapping now part of Argus's job" Laurel asked.

"Apologies for how you three were brought in here but after the last time I didn't think you three would come willingly" Amanda said.

Sara nodded her head. "You're damn right we wouldn't" she said.

Amanda stood up from her desk and walked over to the three sisters. "This is important" Amanda said.

Felicity shook her head. "Whatever it is we're not interested" she said.

Amanda looked over at Felicity. "Oh I think you will be. You were summoned" she said.

Sara scoffed. "More like kidnapped" she said.

"What do you want" Felicity asked.

Amanda shrugged her shoulders. "I don't want anything but Grant Patton has requested your presence" she said.

"Grant Patton as in the serial killer" Felicity asked.

Amanda Waller nodded her head. "He said he needed to see you Felicity" she said.

"Why" Laurel asked.

"He thinks she can help him" Amanda said.

"With what" Sara asked.

"I'll let him explain. Follow the guards. They will take you to him" Amanda said. The three sisters looked at each other unsure.

"He won't be able to hurt you. He is heavily guarded" Amanda said to them. Reluctantly they got up and followed the guards. The guard typed a code into the door.

"Try not to stand to close to the bars. He is a very dangerous man" the guard said walking them up to Grant's cell.

Grant smiled at them. "Felicity Lance I'm glad you could make it and I see you brought your sisters with you" he said. He started to cough.

"I was told you needed my help" Felicity said.

Grant stopped coughing and nodded. "I'm dying and I need your help to cure me" Grant said.

The three sisters looked at each other confused. "How is she supposed to do that" Laurel asked.

"With my blood" Grant said taking out av veil of his blood and rolling it over to Felicity. It hit her foot and she picked it up.

"What do you think I can do with this" Felicity asked.

Grant smiled at her. "I want you to use my blood to make a cure for me" he said.

"What makes you think Felicity would do that for you" Sara asked.

"She wants to help people right? Well I need help and I know she can create something to cure me" Grant said.

Laurel shook her head. "You're a killer" she said.

Grant nodded. "I'm retired. I'm stuck here for the rest of my life and I've come to terms with that" he said. All of a sudden one of the guards shot the other guard and then shot the keypad on Grant's cell. The three sisters jumped and started moving back. The cell opened.

"Let's go boss. Let's get out of here" the guard said.

Grant looked at Felicity and smiled. "You have my blood now make me a cure. I'll be here waiting" he said walking back and sitting on his bed.

"Boss we got to go the actual guards will…" the guard started to say but he was shot in the head by Grant who pulled out a gun. The three sisters held onto each other for dear life.

"Idiot" he said. He looked at the three sisters. "I don't want to escape" he said.

"Why not" Felicity asked.

Grant shrugged his shoulders. "I kind of like it here. I'll be waiting" he said smiling at them creepily. The three sisters ran out of the room creeped out wanting to get away from that creepy man.

That night, Felicity Laurel and Sara arrived at Laurel and Tommy's apartment. "So are you going to help this Grant guy or what" Laurel asked as she unlocked the door.

"I don't know. I have to think about it" Felicity said.

"What's to think about? He's a serial killer. Just let him die. It would be one less killer around and it would make the world a better place" Sara said.

Felicity shook her head. "It's not that simple. What if he sends one of his men after someone I love. I wouldn't want that" Felicity said looking over at the wall where the picture of Superman was hanging up. "You know Laurel, Tommy's not here. You can take that off the wall until he comes back" she said.

Sara nodded. "Yea who wants to look at some alien in tights on their wall" Sara said. The three sisters laughed.

Laurel walked over to the light switch. "Don't say that in front of Tommy. Superman is his…" Laurel said as she tried the light switch but her lights didn't turn on. "Hero" Laurel finished.

"What's wrong" Sara asked.

"The lights won't turn on" Laurel said as she walked slowly into the apartment. She saw that the window was open. Felicity and Sara walked up behind her.

"Did you leave that window open" Felicity asked. Laurel shook her head. Laurel walked over to her drawer and pulled out a gun. She cocked the gun. Laurel could sense someone behind her. She turned around and pointed the gun at the intruder. Felicity and Sara stared in shock at the intruder. It was the vigilante. Oliver looked at the three sisters and his eyes locked with Felicity as he pushed a button on the voice distorter in his hand. Oliver turned to Laurel.

"Hello Laurel" Oliver said in his distorted voice. Laurel stood there pointing the gun at the vigilante while Felicity and Sara stared at him. Felicity looked closely at him. Was that Oliver? Whoever it was she figured they should hear him out. Oliver stared at Laurel. He needed her help and the only way he was going to get it was by convincing her he wasn't a threat to them.
