Oliver sat in the interrogation room with Quentin. "This is a mistake" Oliver said.

"I'll be asking you a few questions. Stasis stuff for the report" Quentin said while writing stuff down on a piece of paper. "Have you been arrested before" Quentin asked not looking up at Oliver. Oliver was about to respond when Quentin held up his hand. "It's OK. I know the answer to that one. Plenty of times" Quentin said continuing to write things down.

"Like I said this is a mistake" Oliver said.

Quentin looked up at Oliver. "As far as I could tell the only mistake I made was not shooting you down at the docks when I had a chance" Quentin said.

Oliver just stared at Quentin. "Where is Felicity" he asked.

Quentin looked at Oliver dangerously. "You are never going to see or talk to my daughter again. Felicity may not like it but this is the best thing for her" Quentin said.

"I am not who you think I am. Now I need to speak to Felicity before you and everyone else try to twist everything around" Oliver said.

"Oh, I know exactly who you are. It's Felicity who is confused about who you really are because ever since you were in high school you manipulated her into not seeing the real you but I do. You're a dangerous menace who doesn't care about who he hurts except now your doing it with bows and arrows instead of trust funds and yacht's. You can't manipulate me like you did my daughter" Quentin said.

Oliver let out a little laugh. "You and I both know Felicity is one of the smartest people in this city. I highly doubt I would be able to manipulate her" he said. Quentin just glared at him. "Detective you hate me. You hate that I'm with you're daughter and think she deserves better. I get it. Maybe you're right and she does deserve better than me but I love her" Oliver said. He could see that Quentin was getting mad. "No matter what happens to me I will still love Felicity and she will still love me. You can hate me and hate that fact all you want but that doesn't make a vigilante" Oliver said.

"No the security camera footage of you from the Unidac auction with a green hood does that" Quentin said.

"Again, I ran into the stairwell once I heard shooting. I saw a duffle I thought maybe belonged to the shooter, looked inside and saw a hood" Oliver explained.

"You took it home? We can't find it. What about harassing Adam Hunt? That just happened to take place right across the street from you're little homecoming bash" Quentin asked.

"Those are coincidences" Oliver said.

"No when they pile up like that it becomes evidence" Quentin said going back to writing things down again.

A cop opened the door to the integration room. "His parents are here" the cop said.

"Tell them to wait" Quentin said continuing to write.

"I want to see my son" Moira said walking into the interrogation room with Walter and Felicity.

"Felicity" Oliver said standing up.

"Oliver" Felicity said running over to him and hugging him tightly.

Oliver looked down at Felicity. "It's not true what they're saying about me" he said.

"I know. Don't worry we're going to get you out of here" Felicity said still holding on to Oliver.

"Felicity I thought I made myself clear" Quentin said.

Felicity glared at her father. "So did I. I'm not letting Oliver go to prison for something he didn't do" she said still holding on to Oliver not wanting to let him go.

"You guys can't be in here. I'm in the middle of an interrogation" Quentin said.

"Detective, I know you hate my family, but I had no idea you'd go so far to arrest my son without any grounds" Moira said.

"I have solid grounds, and I have evidence" Quentin said standing up.

"Which you can present to Mr. Queen's attorney when he gets here until then this interrogation is over detective" Walter said.

Quentin looked between the four people in the room then at Felicity. "Felicity honey…" he started to say but Felicity interrupted him.

"You heard Walter dad. This interrogation is over" she said.

"Sure. You guys have 15 minutes" Quentin said leaving the room.

Felicity pulled back from Oliver and looked up at him. "I'm sorry about my father" she said.

Oliver smiled at her. "It's OK. I'm just glad you're here" he said. They smiled at each other.

"Detective Lance appears to be on some personal vendetta" Walter said.

"He is. He hates me and hates the fact that me and Felicity are together and in love" Oliver said. Moira shook her head while Walter looked over at the couple sadly. Felicity took Oliver's handcuffed hand. "He also thinks that I dress up in a green hood and shoot people with arrows" Oliver said.

"Important thing is not to say anything until your attorney gets here. I'm going to get you the best lawyer out there" Felicity said.

"Fine. I want Laurel" Oliver said. The other three chuckled.

"Oliver, I don't think the sister of your girlfriend is the best option here" Moira said.

"She knows me. She knows that I could never be this guy. Plus she's Felicity's sister. I doubt she's going to let her sister's boyfriend go to prison" Oliver said.

"Walter you think that Lance has a vendetta" Oliver said.

"Yes" Walter said.

"I think Laurel can get him off of it. He raised all of his daughters to do the right thing. That includes representing an innocent man. So, mom, Felicity please" Oliver said looking over at Felicity.

Felicity nodded. "Oliver's right. Laurel's the best lawyer to represent him" she said.

Moira shook her head. "I don't know. Are you sure Laurel will do it" she asked.

"Yes. I can get her to do it. Right now the most important thing is making sure Oliver doesn't go to prison. Laurel can make sure that doesn't happen" Felicity said. Felicity looked at Oliver. "I'll get Laurel to represent you" she said.

He smiled. "Thank you" he said. He leaned down and kissed her and she returned the kiss. They pulled away from each other and Felicity looked at her watch.

"Laurel should be at work right now. We can go see her there" Felicity said walking away from Oliver. Moira and Walter walked out of the room with Felicity following.

Felicity Moira and Walter all walked into the main lobby of the station when they heard a familiar voice. "Listen I just want to know what's going on. My best friend is in there" they heard Tommy saying.

Felicity walked over to him. "Tommy what are you doing here" she asked hugging him.

"I heard Oliver got arrested and I wanted to make sure everyone was OK but they won't tell me what's going on" Tommy said.

"Detective Abara someone's on the phone for you" A detective called from across the room.

"Wait here Mr. Merlyn" Abara said as he walked away.

Tommy turned back to Felicity. "How's Oliver" he asked.

"He's fine. I'm sorry Tommy but I got to talk to Laurel about representing Oliver" Felicity said going to walk away but Tommy stopped her.

"Did Oliver say anything" he asked.

"Like what" she asked.

"I don't know anything out of the ordinary" he asked.

"No why" she asked.

"No reason just checking" Tommy said. Obviously Oliver didn't tell her.

Over at the law office Felicity and Moira walked in looking for Laurel. Felicity spotted her looking at some files. "There she is" she pointed out to Moira. They walked over to her. "Laurel" Felicity said.

Laurel turned around and saw Felicity and Moira Queen standing in front of her. "Felicity, Mrs. Queen what are you guys…" Laurel started to ask but Moira interrupted her.

"It's Oliver somethings happened" she said.

"It's been all over the news" Laurel said turning toward the tv that was showing a news report of Oliver being arrested. Felicity and Moira looked over at it too. Moira scoffed and looked away.

"These charges are ludicrous. It's not true Laurel" Felicity said.

"I know" Laurel said walking Felicity and Moira over to her desk. "Mrs. Queen can I ask you who's representing him" she asked. Felicity and Moira looked at each other and Felicity nodded to her.

Moira turned to Laurel. "Well that's why we're here. He wants you to represent him" Moira said.

"Me" Laurel said shocked looking between Felicity and Moira.

"Yes. You're the only person he trusts to represent him. Please Laurel we're desperate. Oliver won't take anyone else. If you don't represent him then he doesn't want any attorney" Felicity said.

"Felicity, dad is the arresting officer not to mention your boyfriend and I don't think it's a good idea to represent someone I have a close personal tie to" Laurel said. Moira was about to say something but Laurel interrupted her. "Listen I am sorry for what Oliver is going through…" Laurel started but Moira shook her head.

"No, no apologizes. I admire your idealism Laurel" Moira said. Laurel just stared at her not really knowing what to say but feeling bad. "Regardless, it was a bad idea on his part and I am sorry if we made you feel uncomfortable" Moira said. Laurel gave her a sad smile.

Felicity turned to Moira. "Moira could you give me and Laurel a minute" Felicity asked.

Moira nodded. "Certainly" she said leaving the office.

"Laurel please…" Felicity started but Laurel shook her head.

"I already told Mrs. Queen I don't feel comfortable taking on Oliver as a client" she said.

Felicity nodded. "I know and normally I wouldn't push but Oliver won't accept any other attorney and he's going to represent himself" Felicity said.

Laurel looked at her sister. "I don't know Felicity" Laurel said.

"Look Laurel we both know this isn't about Oliver being the vigilante. Dad has his own personal biases against Oliver. You know what it's like to be caught between the man you love and dad. All I'm asking for is you to represent him at the initial trail then if you don't want to continue I will figure something else out. I won't be able to be there so I need someone I can trust representing Oliver" Felicity said.

Laurel looked at Felicity shocked. "Where will you be" Laurel asked.

"Unfortunately I have business to take care of that I can't get out of" Felicity said. Laurel was going to ask Felicity more questions but Felicity held up her hand.

"This is one of those things I need you not to ask questions about" Felicity said.

"It's Oliver's trial Felicity" Laurel said.

Felicity nodded. "Trust me I rather be there" she said.

Laurel let out a sigh. "Fine I'll do it" she said.

Felicity smiled and hugged her. "Thank you" Felicity said.

"No problem. You and Oliver don't deserve to go through what me and Tommy have had to go through with dad" Laurel said.

"How's Abraham" Felicity asked.

"He's good. The cops arrived and arrested Daniel Jagger. I explained what happened and they brought Abraham to the hospital" Laurel said.

"Thank you again for that" Felicity said.

"Of course" Laurel said. Felicity went to leave but Laurel stopped her.

"Whatever your involved in be careful" Laurel said.

Felicity smiled at her sister. "I will be. Just make sure Oliver doesn't go to prison" she said.

Laurel nodded. "Don't worry. I'll make sure Oliver gets cleared of all charges" she said.

Felicity hugged her again. "Keep me updated" she said.

Laurel smiled at her little sister. "I will" she said.

At the courthouse the bailiff read from a paper. "Docket ending 1-9-4-1, people vs. Oliver Queen" the bailiff read as Oliver was brought in. He walked past Walter, Thea, his mother and to his surprise Tommy who was sitting next to his mother. He looked around the courtroom. No Felicity. Where was she? "Murder, aggravated assault, assault with intent, menacing and trespassing" the bailiff finished reading as Oliver took his seat. Walter, Thea, Moira and Tommy all watched Oliver intently especially Tommy. The bailiff handed the judge the paper. She looked at Oliver sitting by himself.

"Where's your attorney Mr. Queen" she asked.

"I'm representing myself judge" Oliver said. The lawyers on the other side of the courtroom looked over at Oliver curiously.

"I'm not sure that's the wisest course Mr. Queen" the judge said.

Oliver stood up. "I think it is. I'm innocent" Oliver said.

"Then we'll consider that you're plea" the judge said.

"Thank you" Oliver said sitting back down.

"Now as to bail" the judge said.

The female lawyer on the other side of the courtroom stood up. "Your honor Mr. Queen's family owns a pair of private jets and while we're on the subject of their wealth I would point out that there is virtually no bail amount that could guarantee his presence at trail" the lawyer said.

"So then I guess it's a good thing the people's case is so circumstantial" Laurel said as she walked into the courtroom. Walter, Thea and Moira all looked at Laurel surprised as she passed them. Tommy smiled at his wife and she smiled back. Quentin looked at her confused. She walked up to the table Oliver was sitting at. "Dinah Laurel Lance your honor. I'd like to file my appearance on behalf of the defendant" Laurel said. Oliver got up and moved a seat over so Laurel could sit down. Laurel put her briefcase on the table. "Mr. Queen's wealth should not deprive him of the right to be released on bail while under the presumption of innocence" she said.

"He is a flight risk" the other lawyer said.

"Then minimize the risk. The defendant is willing to submit to home confinement and electronic monitoring through the wearing of a UKG45 administrated ankle device " Laurel said.

"No he wouldn't" Oliver said.

"Sold" the judge said ignoring Oliver.

"Your honor…" the other lawyer started to say but she was interrupted by the judge.

"Bail is set at $15 million. $5 million bond. Defendant to seek probation for the fitting of a GPS device" the judge said slamming her gavel down. Laurel sat down in her seat.

Oliver looked over at Laurel. "I knew you'd come through and save my ass" Oliver said as Laurel opened her briefcase.

"It wasn't my first choice. You can thank Felicity" Laurel said.

"About that do you know where Felicity is? I don't see her here" he asked.

Just then Laurel's cellphone buzzed. She looked at it and saw a text from Felicity. "Thanks for today. I owe you one". Laurel looked up at Oliver. "She said she had business to take care of" she said.

Tommy walked up to them. "Hey babe" Tommy said kissing Laurel.

"Hey" she said. Tommy looked at Oliver then back at Laurel.

"So you're representing Oliver" Tommy asked.

Laurel nodded. "Just doing a favor for Felicity that's all" she said.

Tommy smiled over at Oliver. "Well lucky for you, you have the best lawyer in the city representing you. She'll prove you're innocence" he said.

Oliver nodded. "I know she will. That's why I requested her" he said.

Tommy nodded. "Well we all know you're innocent so that shouldn't be a problem. I mean you the guy in the hood. That's got to be the biggest joke I ever heard" Tommy said laughing. Oliver looked at Tommy cautiously. What was he up to and why was he lying to Laurel? Last he heard from Tommy he wanted nothing to do with Oliver and he wanted him to stay away from Laurel and their daughter. Tommy just continued to smile at Oliver. He didn't want Oliver to go to jail. He was still his best friend after all even though they weren't on the best of terms right now. Lying to Laurel and keeping her in the dark was the best way to keep her safe even though he hated lying to his wife. Laurel took Tommy's hand and they walked away. Tommy gave Oliver a serious look. He didn't like having to lie for him but it was a necessary evil. He just hoped it didn't come back to bite him in the ass.
