Bramblepaw woke up with a start. Someone was prodding on him. "Wake up Bramblepaw!" a voice mewed. Bramblepaw knew it was Redpaw doing that. "What is it now?" he mewed annoyed. "Creampaw and Greenpaw are becoming warriors now!" mewed Redpaw excitedly. Bramblepaw was up on her feet quick. Padding outside with Redpaw he saw Shiningstar on the high rock…with Creampaw and Greenpaw in front of her. "And from this day on you both will be called Creamfur and Greenleaf." Finished Shiningstar. "Creamfur! Greenleaf!" yowled the clan. Bramblepaw was very happy for them but he was tired so he went back to the den.
The next morning, Bramblepaw padded towards his mentor Lynxclaw. "Morning Lynxclaw!" mewed Bramblepaw dipping his head. "Morning," purred Lynxclaw. " Lilyheart got her kits today!" "Really? That's great!" mewed Bramblepaw. "What shall I do today?" he asked. "Hunt with Lightpaw." Mewed Lynxclaw padding off towards the nursery. Bramblepaw nodded and headed towards Lightpaw. "Want to go hunting?" Bramblepaw asked. "Alright," she replied padding off. "Let's hunt at Big rock!" she yowled dashing off. Bramblepaw laughed and followed her.
"I do," mewed Bramblepaw as he was getting his warrior name.
"And from this day forward you shall be called Bramblethorn, Lightheart, and Redclaw." Mewed Earthstar since Shiningstar was dead. Bramblethorn eyes were filled with pride, as he was a warrior now. The three cats walked and sat getting ready for their vigil.
Bramblethorn padded into the warrior's den feeling tired. "What's wrong?" asked Lightheart padding over to him. "Nothing," he replied and fell down exhausted. Lightheart licked his ear and curled up beside him.
"Airpaw concentrate!" yowled Bramblethorn. Airpaw scrambled to his feet and mewed, "Please may I go see Crystalpaw?" he begged. Bramblethorn sighed. "Alright but only for a while." He replied. "Thanks Bramblethorn!" he yowled as he padded into MoonClan. "You know, you are very easy going," mewed a voice behind Bramblethorn. The tom padded out. His pelt shone red in the morning sky. "Yeah Redclaw? What about Rainpaw?" He teased. Redclaw shrugged. "Dirtpaw was her best friend," he pointed out. Bramblethorn thought about when Dirtpaw and Crystalpaw were hunting 2 dogs hurt them. Bramblethorn sighed. "Come on you want to see Lightheart's kits don't you?" Redclaw asked padding away. Bramblethorn nodded and followed.
"They are lovely," mewed Earthstar as he padded out of the nursery. "Oh and Lovetail since Peachkit is ready to become an apprentice and since Dirtpaw died," Earthstar mewed padding away. Lovetail dipped her head. Looking at Redclaw she mewed," You should wait until Bramblethorn seen the kits." Bramblethorn looked at Lovetail and nodded getting into the nursery. There were 3 kits. One was a creamy white like her mother. Another was a tortoise shell like him with white patches. The last was a black and a white tail tip and muzzle. "Have you named them?" asked Bramblethorn. She nodded. "The white one is Whitekit, the tortoise shell Sorrelkit, and the black Pantherkit, "she mewed.
