Confidence

Ginny stepped out of the Burrow and she knew today would be the day. She could do it, she knew she could.

and cannon ball into the water

All her thoughts were confirmed about sharing her deepest feelings as she saw a dark haired seventeen year old with piercing green eyes approach her house. She couldn't wait. He became closer and closer. With every step he took, her heart rate quickened.

He was now close enough to touch. Ginny took his bags, set them down by the front porch and took his hand in hers. Harry was a bit surprised by this gesture, but this was Ginny, she could be unpredictable at times. He gave her hand a little squeeze to make sure she was okay. She gave him a squeeze in return.

They continued walking down a well-worn path to a small opening in the woods, not needing to say any words, content in each other's presence. When they stopped, Ginny spoke.

"Harry, I have missed you these past months. I can't even start to describe it. I have missed seeing you every day," she paused, waiting for his response, unsure of whether to continue or not.

"During my auror training, Gin, not a day went by without my thoughts turning to you," Harry said.

Ginny seamed to be pleased by that piece of information and she continued.

"See Harry, there is something that I have been meaning to tell you ever since the ministry requited you for auror training early."

Harry looked on, no words needed. He gave her a small nod signaling that she should continue.

A tear formed in each of her eyes, not tears of sadness though, they were tears of wanting and desire and passion.

"It's quite simple actually, Harry…I love you."

Harry had a look of utmost joy on his face. He was a bit surprised, but once he got over the initial shock, he was able to speak again.

"I love you too. I love you with my whole heart. I don't know what I would do without you. Not having you there to complete me, to be there for me, to make me laugh."

Throughout this whole conversation, there was a gap between them. Harry closed this space with one pace, bringing Ginny in his arms. She relaxed into him, never feeling happier in her life.

She looked up at him, now with tears flowing freely down her porcelain skin. He wiped away her tears with his thumbs. Once their eyes met, again there were no need for words, as he lifted her chin up and their mouths touched, briefly. Her hands reached up to his face as his hands went around her waist. Nothing was more right than this moment.

The kiss was the best kiss that either of them had ever had. It was filled with the passion that two people in love can only express. The sort of passion that builds up for years on end, threatening to burst. It's safe to say this was the bubble burster.

Once the kiss broke off, Harry looked soulfully into Ginny's eyes and said those wonderful words again.

"I love you."

"I love you too and I always will."
