Nervous just wasn't enough to describe how you were feeling. All the paperwork had been done and now it was just a matter of starting. Law's hand comes down on you head as you stared at the school,

"Stop fretting it will age you," his words make you pout,

"Don't be so mean Law, this is why you can't keep a girlfriend," Penguin admonishes,

"It's okay to be worried on your first day at a new school," Shachi offers you a smile which you try your best to return,

"I'm being encouraging," Law shakes his head while gently pushing you towards the entrance,

"That's your encouragement? Telling a girl, she's going to get wrinkles?" Penguin shakes his head, both you and Law look at him,

"I didn't say that," Law shakes his head, "you two just get to homeroom, I'll make sure (Y/N)-ya gets to where she needs to with much more ease if you two aren't around,"

"How rude," Shachi scoffs before giving you a grin, "You'll be fine (Y/N), don't worry," the two of them then walk off, discussing a date Penguin had had the night before.

Law takes you to your locker first, after you both went over your schedule and details, then to your homeroom classroom. You grip the strap of your bag tightly,

"I should be alright now Law," though if anything, your nerves are even worse,

"I'll wait till your teacher arrives," he says, nonchalantly leaning against the wall outside the classroom,

"You don't have to..." you feel like you're putting him out, he's incredibly hard to read so you can't tell what's going on in his head. He just moves those steely orbs of his to yours for a moment before your both drawn to loud arguing. Turning you tense up a little and unconsciously step closer to your cousin as two male students come closer. One with long blonde hair, and waving a rose about? And a thuggish looking green haired guy with a septum piercing. Law's eyes narrow at the pair as they head into the classroom,

"(Y/N)-ya, if you have any trouble with anyone or anything, just come and find me alright?" he pushes off the wall,

"Um, okay?" you tilt your head, you're assuming this is him being nice? Or does he just feel obligated to offer this because your cousins?

"Mister Trafalgar, if you don't leave now, you will be late," a teacher says coming to a stop beside you both,

"Just leaving now," he gives you one last glance before walking off.

"You must be Miss (L/N) yes?" you nod in response and the teacher indicates for you to follow them into the classroom just as the bell goes, "Alright settle down, this is a classroom not a monkey park," you're more than a little surprised to find some students on the desks and fighting. Wait, you recognise the two actually physically fighting in the back of the classroom, "Roronoa, Vinsmoke! Sit yourselves down this instant or you can both head to the principal's office,"

"HE started it!" they both shout,

"Don't make me come end it, now sit down," the teacher sighs as the boys finally drop into their seats, Sanji's scowl towards Zoro drops the instant he spots you; you hope you don't have to sit next to him. "Now as you can see we have a new student," the teacher waves a hand at you, "Yes, it's unusual to take on new students midway into the term, no, you may not hound the poor girl with questions as to why, be nice," after a hard stare at everyone you get a smile from them, but it's a clearly exhausted smile, you feel for this teacher, "you can take a seat next to Sakura," you turn back to the class and spot the girl wave at you, she's sat at a table in front of Zoro, you steal your nerves as you walk over, this was closer to Sanji then you liked.

"(Y/N)-chan," Sanji barely stays in his seat on the other side of Zoro, "my day has been made so much brighter by your presence,"

"She doesn't need you acting all stupid dart brow," Zoro kicks Sanji's chair,

"Call me that again marimo I swear," Sanji instantly returns to fury mode glaring at Zoro,

"Guys, come on, you're giving a bad impression," Sakura shakes her head making the two of them instantly shut up, huff and look away from one another. You raise a brow somewhat surprised, you had seen the two friends, though you're not actually sure they are friends, go at it at the barbeque and barely anyone could separate them, never mind stop them. That is until the red head, you think her name was Nami slapped them both silly while Luffy laughed his head off. But this girl silenced them so easily, you can figure out that Sanji would probably do anything any female tells him since according to Ember he's pretty much a flirt and ladies' man, but Zoro... You glance at the green haired guy; he's looking off out the window looking bored now. "Sorry about these two idiots," the two boys flinch and pout, "they're not always this bad," she shrugs,

"Really?" the word tumbles from your lips before you can stop it, you cover your mouth, "I'm sorry that was rude," Sakura giggles though and the boys also don't look too bothered,

"Don't worry. They can take it," she grins.

The day soon rushed on ahead. You kept your head down and focused on your classes, though you did have to handle being cornered by that green haired thuggish guy mid-morning, him demanding to know if you were friends with Zoro and Sanji, he specifically referred to them as Mister Zoro and Mister Sanji. It freaked you out a little as you weren't sure how to answer that for one and his attitude was, just plain weird, you ended up apologising, slipping away and bolting from his presence. You ate lunch with Sakura in the court yard, she picked up on your nervousness as you headed to the cafeteria and offered to share her lunch with you. Zoro ended up joining the pair of you, having apparently lost the rest of his friends. A usual occurrence apparently though it seemed to make Sakura very happy, she also shared her lunch with him too. You noted she had purposefully brought more than enough food for the three of you to eat, it made you wonder as you glanced between the pair, quietly eating and listening to their conversation about kendo, was there something between the two of them? After lunch was physical education, which you enjoyed, you got to play a few games of tennis against the coach, which may have caused a small crowd to form and watch you. After you parted ways with Sakura as she headed to the library for private study, to which Sanji seemed disappointed that you weren't going with them, but you had been in advanced English classes at your old school and although this school didn't offer an advanced course, they decided however it was best to place you into a senior class. You drop your sports kit off at your locker before looking over your map so you can figure to quickest way to get to the class,

"(Y/N)!" a voice calls from down the hallway making you jump a little, you look up from the map and are suddenly tackled with a hug, "Shachi told me you had transferred," it was Ember, "we looked for you at lunch but didn't see you," she chuckles, "Law was worried,"

"I doubt that," you comment,

"It's true, ain't that right Ace?" she looks behind her to the ravenette you had only just noticed being there, who rolls his eyes but agrees,

"We're going to be late for class," he points out, this makes you jump again and quickly look over your map, "do you need some help? I'm sure we can get out of trouble for being late if we help you,"

"Ace," Ember shakes her head, "as nice and helpful as that is, your motives are all wrong," she looks at you, "but if you do need help, ask away, I used to get lost all the time this time last year," she chuckles, "you're on your free period, right?"

"Ah, no. I've been put into a senior English class, I was doing advanced classes at Red Line," you inform her, the pair of them share a look,

"Whose class are you in?" Ace asks while slipping your schedule free of your grip, he suddenly grins and chuckles, "Awesome, just come with us,"

"Ace..." Ember frowns,

"She's in our class," Ace gives her a wink and suddenly Ember is giggling, she hooks her arm with yours and pulls you along,

"You are both making me really nervous..."

"Don't worry, I promise you'll be fine. We'll look after you," you believe Ember, but your stomach is still doing flips. As you're pulled into the class the teacher looks up, the bell hasn't rung yet so people are still milling around talking to each other,

"You're cutting it close as usual Portgas," the teacher frowns,

"We were being good upperclassmen," Ace tells him, throwing a grin back at you before heading over to his desk, Ember squeezes your arm before heading to her own desk behind her boyfriends, a brunette grabs her arm as she passes and they seem to have quick whispered conversation, they both glance at you with grins, you feel even more nervous now, especially when the brunette grabs her bags and moves to sit beside Ace. That seems like an odd move to you, before you can think more of it though the teacher ushers you over to him,

"You must be Miss (L/N) I was informed you would be joining our class," he shuffles through some papers on his desk before finding what he needs, he reads over it, "you shouldn't have too much trouble settling in on where we are but if you need any help," he glances over the class then over at the door, "Ah, just the right person," you glance over your shoulder and freeze completely, a certain blonde cutie you hadn't been able to get out of your head for a few weeks now had just come into the classroom, he looks up from a thick notepad and looks very surprised as his blue eyes meet yours, "if you need any help Sabo here will look after you,"

"Ah, um..." you turn to Sabo and give him a nervous smile, he returns the smile with one of his own, a bright happy one.

"Alright, everyone in your seats please," the teacher then moves over to the class schedule, effectively now ignoring you. You watch as Sabo glances over at his brother and friends, he frowns briefly at the grins they all have on their faces, his cheeks darken a little as he turns back to you and indicates for you to come sit with him, conveniently in the place the brunette had vacated moments ago. You silently question if this was a set up.

You spent most of that class with your heart in your throat. You had been worried beforehand that being in the senior class may be too much, now you were just worried Sabo would hear how hard your heart was pounding. He didn't seem to though; he was his usual polite and charming self and after a while you found yourself calming down. Once class was dismissed the classroom began to empty rather quickly due to the fact it was free period now, for seniors and yourself. A lot of seniors chose to go home early rather then head to the library, at least if they didn't have club activities to attend,

"So, you decided to transfer," you glance up at Sabo as you pack away your work,

"In the end I was convinced," you chuckle lightly,

"Well, I'm glad you came to that decision," his words make you blush a little until Ace drops his arm around Sabo's shoulder,

"What do you have next (Y/N)?" he asks as Ember and the brunette come to a stop at your desk too,

"I have a free period now..." they had basically switched it around so you could be in the senior class,

"Do you want to come to the library with us?" Ember asks,

"Yeah, you should join us, right Sabo?" Ace nudges his brother, Sabo frowns at his brother,

"Sadly, we can't go to the library ourselves today, extra council duties," the brunette reminds, Sabo frowns deeper and sighs,

"That's true," he glances at you, "Sorry," your eyes widen a little,

"You don't need to be sorry," you tell him quickly, not really understanding why he thinks he needs to apologise,

"We're going to be late Sabo, the president can't be late for his own meeting," the brunette tugs Sabo away, she whispers something to him and Sabo's face turns red as they leave. You find yourself pouting a little only stopping when Ace pokes your cheek,

"Don't worry about Koala, they're just friends," he grins as your face takes on a similar shade as Sabo's had,

"I... I don't know what you're insinuating," you huff shouldering your bag and heading to the door, the two of them following you,

"Don't tease her Ace," Ember says but you don't think she means it though, at least not fully, but she does give you a smile, "he's right though," you shake your head at them as you all head to the library.

At the end of free period, Ace kisses Ember's cheek and runs off for practice, Ember was planning to stay till he finishes, apparently, she gives the brothers a lift home. Law who had also been in the library at the time stopped long enough to ask if you wanted Shachi or Penguin to take you home in his car or if you were willing to wait. He wouldn't take your first answer of you walking yourself home so you chose to stay in the library and wait.

"Aww, you're so nice to her," Ember teased him, Law just stared at her for a moment before leaving, his friends all laughing, at your confused look Ember insisted that was definitely Law being nice. You suppose, you had to agree in the end. You settled down to do your homework seeing as you were going to be here a while. It hadn't been longer than ten minutes when there was a ruckus at the library entrance, the librarian shushing the group of girls who all were making their way over to your table, you quickly take in the tennis uniform and gulp. A senior slams her hand down on the table in front of you and leans in close,

"You're (Y/N) (L/N) right?" you find yourself leaning backwards, Ember beside you tenses, even the boys stare unimpressed at this girl,

"Um, yes?"

"Excellent! You're coming with us!" the girl is suddenly pulled away by Vivi,

"I'm so sorry about our captain (Y/N), she just heard that you transferred..." the blue haired beauty is shoved aside, and the captain grabs your hands, pulling you out of your seat,

"We need you," and then proceeds to pull you along with her with surprising strength, you send a startled look back at the others who all seem ready to come to your rescue, Vivi quickly apologises and promises to look after you before following the crazy captain who's dragging you off to who knows where. As the group of girls in the tennis uniforms surround you all talking excitedly, one thought flits across your mind. I think I've been abducted by the tennis club...
