I don't own Danny Phantom. That belongs to Nickelodeon, Steve Marmel, Mark Banker, ViacomCBS Domestic Media Networks, and Billionfold Inc.

Oneshot #2

Danny's ghostly tail fluttered as he sped up, the wind whipping through his hair. Considering his fastest timed speed was over 120 MPH, he felt that it wouldn't be too long before he finished. So he made it a point to enjoy his time in the air while he could.

He loved being in the air, with no one else around. No one else to bother him. Just stillness and a tranquil silence all around.

Tonight, there were no ghosts out.

Sure there were people mucking about in the streets (walking, driving, working, or at the movies mostly) but Danny didn't mind that. They weren't bothering him, and couldn't see him. It was nice to see people without the nuisance of mayhem causing ghosts.

Danny was thankful for this, for it meant he could relax. Ever since he turned the portal on a year ago, he had felt an unspoken sense of guilt and tried his best to scour Amity Park for ghosts that didn't belong. So whenever he didn't spot any, he felt a wave of relief.

The air was crisp and cool. It was nearing February, so it was still in winter season. Danny didn't mind so much, since his overall body temperature had dropped a bit since he became half-ghost. Now the cold was a minor acknowledgment.

He checked his phone for the time. It was 11. He felt a smile form. When he was done, he would be able to have a long proper sleep.

About an hour later, the town's perimeters were still specter-free. Breathing a sigh of relief, Danny turned in the air to make his way home.
