Rules on OWL's and NEWT's What OWLs and NEWTs are available. This will be a continuing mini book which will link to a story which will be posted at a later date

- You can take each OWL only once.

- Can take OWL's between ages 11-16 only.

- To pass an OWL you have to get 60%

- Passing grades: Acceptable(60-75%), Exceeds Expectations(76-85%), Outstanding(86-95%) and Outstanding+ (96%+)

- Failing Grades: Troll(0-30%), Dreadful(31-51%), Poor(52-59%)

- You can take them January, March, May-June, end of August- beginning of September, November

- If you take any OWL's earlier than 15 years of age you get your results 1 month later apart from May-June exams
