Raimundo and Kimiko were eating dinner, too embarrassed to look at each other. Rai nibbled at his pizza, not really hungry. Kimiko just stabbed at her rice with a chopstick.
"Clay? Why are Raimundo and Kimiko behaving most unusually?" Omi asked, confused.
Before he could answer Dojo came rushing in. "A new Shen Gong Wu has been activated!" he exclaimed, shivering the way he always did when Shen Gong Wu were activated. He unrolled the scroll. It showed an animated picture of a person with swirly eyes wearing a collar thingamabob.
"The Heylin Collar! A person can control someone else with the Heylin Collar with its counterpart the Heylin Key! So you better watch out, kids!"
So the Xialin Dragons rode on Dojo to Doran Beach, New York (A/N: I made it up, so what?) to see a silver collar sticking out of a sand dune, decorated with the gold swirling Heylin symbol.
Kimiko jumped off Dojo and ran to the Shen Gong Wu. Her outfit this time consisted of a black long sleeved shirt with a big red heart patch on it, a red flared miniskirt, black leggings, and black boots with red laces. Her hair was tied up in her usual pigtails, and dyed red at the tips.
Raimundo was watching her as she sprinted for the Shen Gong Wu. 'She looks so pretty when she runs.', he thought. 'Wait, where did that come from? I do NOT NOT NOT NOT like her like that!' He mentally smacked himself.
Then, a laser beam hit her and sent her flying-luckily into soft sand. "I'm taking the Shen Gong Wu, Xiaolin losers!"
It was none other than Jack Spicer, his helipack keeping him afloat, Jackbots hovering behind him.
Kimiko stood up and brushed sand off of her. "Can you quit using the same lame insult every time?" she shouted.
She flipped through the air and grabbed the collar the same time as Jack did. It glowed bright yellow. "I challenge you to a Xiaolin Showdown!"
"I accept." Jack said with that annoying evil smirk of his. Kimiko tried to think of a good one.
A tiny island near the beach caught her eye. "I wager my Jet Bootsu against your Monkey Staff! First one to surf to that island over there wins!
"Fine." They both yelled, "Xiaolin Showdown!"
