He lost another tear, this time of joy as he got on the makeshift elevator with X. Dr. Cain tapped the platform with his cane after X locked the window. Workers lowered the platform carefully. "You're probably too big with those wings for my car. Think you can follow an old ground based car?" Zero nodded. "Shouldn't be hard. I'll lock on, just in case." X nodded. "Most cars hover now, so a rubber tire car shouldn't be hard to lose sight of." Zero looked to X. "Might I offer you a ride, Xavier?" X shook his head. "Not this time. Its getting cold fast today. The car will be warmer." Zero nodded. "I understand."
