Disclaimer: Me no own me just fan.
Siegfried mentally sighed in boredom as class went on.
It had been about four months since school began, and in the time Siegfried learned two new things.
The first was that the human teachers... suck ass, they're racist to their Faunus/half faunus students and don't bother to teach them anything, and just send some random student out of the class for nothing at all. And to their human students they just tell them to do their homework, which consists of staying quiet and reading a textbook.
The other thing he learned was the real reason Winter had begun to avoid him, according to her he had been distant, detached and slightly arrogant, and she expected him to turn into Jacque, which he was really annoyed at.
Oh! He had also managed to convince Winter to unlock Weiss' Aura, which was actually rather hard to do, seeing as she didn't want Weiss to get hurt, but with the promise that Winter will be the one to properly train her, and that Siegfried would no longer train her personally, she agreed.
To be honest Siegfried was perfectly fine with that condition, as he was a terrible teacher.
Anyways as classes continued Siegfried found himself growing more and more bored.
His eyes even began to get heavy.
But before he could fully fall asleep, his right hand flew out and caught something.
He glanced at his palm to see a piece of chalk.
He looked to the current teacher, Lily, who was glaring at him.
"Mr. Schnee, since you seem so intent on showing your disinterest by falling asleep in my class how about you come up here and answer these 12 problems.
The class snickered.
Siegfried sighed but stood up and made his way to the board.
The first problem was easy, seeing as this class was math for kindergartners, it was literally a piece of cake for him. 1 plus 1... seriously that was the question.
He wrote the number 2 as the answer and moved into the next.
There were a total of 6 addition and 6 subtraction problems, each one easily solved.
After finishing up the last question he placed the chalk onto the board and returned to his seat.
The class glared at him, mad that he wasn't humiliated, well all except one, a girl with cherry red eyes and black and red calico patterned hair and cat ears of the same pattern.
The girl gazed at him with curiosity, when he noticed her stare he spared a glance, only for her to turn away.
"Curious little Kitten aren't you?" Siegfried thought to himself.
He recognized the girl, they had 'met' a month when he caught a group of bullies, human, pulling on them.
To make a long story short he reported them to a teacher, to which he was brushed off when they saw the girl was a faunus, so he stepped in and with a swift kick to the nuts he sent them all packing, although the group of bullies were rather familiar for some reason, something about the boy with burnt orange hair... oh well food for later thought.
Afterwards he help her up took her to the nurse, who luckily was a faunus, and explained the situation. The nurse took her in and he left before the girl he helped could even thank him, she was rather quiet, the silent type he guessed, or just shy... who knows.
Ever since he had noticed that she was constantly looking at him when she thought he wouldn't notice.
"Did she get a crush on me? ... Nah! She's to young to understand the concept of love let alone getting a crush on me of all people, it just doesn't happen... then again there was Rin... and Sakura ... and... Saber... and ... oh god... I really am a dense idiot aren't I ... right Rin?" He mentally asked the long dead woman.
(*Ring!!*)
He was interrupted from his thoughts when the lunch bell rang.
He stood up and walked to the cafeteria to get his lunch.
It was Pizza!
Siegfried launched himself to the lunchline as soon as he smelled the beautiful cheesy goodness that was being served.
Lunch was and still is the highlight of his entire time here at this school, their cooks were good at their jobs, making both delicious and healthy foods, thanks to the semblance of one of the cooks, a Ram faunus named Gordon, the irony wasn't lost to Siegfried that's for sure.
The man had a minor form of reinforcement, which allowed him to strengthen the nutritional value of any food he cooks, it could even restore lost aura to the one who ate it, and it was completely a passive one, similar to Qrow's, meaning he had no control over it.
Anyways when it was finally Siegfried's turn for food, he chose a slice of Triple pepperoni pizza.
Afterwards he took his foam tray and left the cafeteria, he had figured it best he not eat there after the last time, so he took to eating on the roof, the entrance to which was on the top of the staircase, like most schools in anime had.
He opened the door to the rooftop and stepped through, he walked to the edge, which was behind the door, and sat down.
He rather liked the roof, it gave him a good view of the former kingdom around it, it also gave a view of the playground.
He ate his lunch as he watched two kids, a familiar lion faunus and some sort of canine faunus, not a wolf or a dog... maybe a hyena?, wrestle in the dirt while a nearby older student, in their last year of middle school by the looks of them, tried to stop them and ended up being pulled into it, which resulted in an almost cartoonish cloud of dust with heads, arms and legs, randomly appearing from the cloud.
Siegfried laughed at their antics.
However that laughter was put to an end when he heard the roof door open, and the sound of a body roughly hit the floor of the roof, followed by laughter.
Siegfried silently placed what remained of his lunch down, and crouched as he moved to see what was going on.
As he peered silently around his cover, his blood froze.
There on the roof was the cat faunus from before, and she was currently being held up in the air by the burnt orange haired bully from a month ago, who was followed by his group..
"Haha! You know guys I've always wondered... do cats really always land on their feet?" The burnt orange haired boy asked, with a sneer.
"I don't know Cardin." One of the other boys said.
"Cardin!?" Siegfried thought.
"Well... maybe we should test that out right now." Cardin said before he tossed the girl at the edge of the roof, she barely managed to catch the ledge of the roof.
"This fucking racist psychopath!" Siegfried growled mentally as he stood up, and slowly crept behind the group now revealed to be the future team CRDL.
As soon as he was behind the closest boy, who was definitely Dove he struck.
He quickly looped his right arm around the boy's neck, while he used the same hand to grip his left shoulder, then he placed his left hand on the back of Dove's head then he tensed the muscles in both arms and squeezed, after a few seconds of starving the boy of blood to his brain the boy finally passed out, but unfortunately for Siegfried, his little stunt didn't go unnoticed by the rest of mini-CRDL. [A/N: What was described was a real working chokehold, please do not attempt on other people, without proper training, as it can cause brain damage. Thank you.]
"Oh crap! Dove!" mini-Sky shouted when he saw Siegfried's chokehold on the aforementioned boy.
Cardin and Russel spun around only to see Siegfried release his hold on the boy in his arms, which allowed said boy to drop to the ground.
"Well well well... if it isn't the Schnee, I heard you were placed into a class with these animals, but I didn't think you a sympathizer!" Cardin mocked.
"Clearly you don't remember when I kicked you all in the nuts a month ago." Siegfried snarked.
"That was you!?" Russel said holding his sack.
"Yep." Siegfried said, adding a pop at the end.
Russel charged at Siegfried, only for him to sidestep and stick his leg out to trip the charging idiot, but his leg was a little to high and the boy ended up charging straight into his foot, with his nuts hitting Siegfried's boots.
Siegfried actually winced at that, that wasn't intended at all.
Russel crumpled to the floor holding his sack, and groaned out "Why!?" in a high pitched voice.
Sky flinched and covered his sack in sympathy.
"Ok... that wasn't meant to happen... anyways... if you don't want to end up like the other two, I suggest you leave." Siegfried said.
"Hah yeah right, you may be a Schnee but unlike me you don't have your aura unlocked!" Cardin mocked.
Siegfried rose a single brow at the idiot.
"Umm... I do actually... ever since I was two... I also have my semblance..." Siegfried deadpanned.
Cardin paused in his mocking laughter and slowly turned to face the boy.
"You do?" He said, his voice nervous.
"Yep." Siegfried said with another pop.
"Oh... ok then... Um... Sky distract him for me would you?" Cardin asked.
Said boy nodded and charged, Siegfried was about to dodge when he felt his arms get grabbed, by Russel who had recovered from his earlier torment.
Sky rushed in with renewed energy, and went to strike him, only for Siegfried to kick him in the nuts, and sent him crumpling to the ground.
Siegfried then sent his leg back and kicked the boy holding him, again in the nuts, this time with more force, which the boy began to foam at the mouth before he passed out from the pain.
Siegfried then leapt at Cardin who tried to escape and swept his leg out from under him with a staff made from his glyphs. He then proceeded to repeatedly beat the boy with the staff... to his nuts.
It would be this day that he became known to all as The Nutcracker, the true king of Mantle's Pre-combat school.
Anyways.
Siegfried brushed his hands off and walked away from the whimpering Cardin, and to the ledge where the girl had somehow managed to hold on for the entire 'fight'.
He knelt down and grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the roof.
Only to immediately be hugged by the girl who was shivering in fear.
He wasn't surprised, not at all, after all she was just about fall off the roof because of those racist pricks, and he had saved her, to her he was probably the closest thing to a hero to her.
He smiled tenderly as he placed his hand on the back of her hair and slowly began to stroke her hair. She tensed at the contact but then relaxed.
They sat there for a few minutes, before she finally stopped shaking and released him, revealing her face to Siegfried.
She was cute, like a kitten, a childlike heart shaped face, which was stained by tears.
The girl looked at him and muttered something, that Siegfried couldn't quite hear.
"Hm? Sorry I couldn't quite hear you, mind saying that again?" Siegfried said with a soft tone.
"Thank... you." The girl muttered just loud enough for him to hear.
"Oh it was no problem at all, what they were doing was wrong, so I stepped in. I'm just glad you're alright Ms...?" Siegfried said while fishing for her name.
"Cheri... call me Cheri." The girl, Cheri said.
"Alright then Cheri it is. So anyways... have they been bothering you since school started?" Siegfried asked.
Cheri nodded.
"Yes... but today was the worst one..." She mumbled.
"She's definitely a Kuudere... or a potential Tsundere... or Yandere if this is gonna go how I think it will..." Siegfried mused to himself.
"Well... why haven't you gone to any friend for help?" Siegfried asked.
"... none..." Cheri mumbled.
Siegfried understood what she meant, she had no friends.
"Well then... why don't you hang out with me while we're at school?" Siegfried said before he even realized it himself.
"Really?" Cheri asked, her eyes slightly brighter.
"Yeah sure, if you need someone to hang with, or talk to, I'm all ears... no offense." Siegfried said.
Cheri giggled at the unintentional pun, but nodded.
"Well Cheri, Since you've already told me your name, allow me to introduce myself." Siegfried said as he stood up.
"My name is Siegfried. But you can consider me your knight in shining armor, my fair maiden." Siegfried said with a noble bow, and a very 'fancy' tone of voice.
This caused the girl to giggle slightly, with her cheeks slightly pink, whether from the cold or from Siegfried's gesture it was up in the air.
It was this moment that Siegfried and Cheri would become Life long friends and companions, one that would stem to even other worlds, the duo just didn't know it yet.
Of course the moment was soon rudely interrupted by a groan from the entirety of mini-CRDL, who were about to regain consciousness.
Siegfried looked at the girl.
"Let's get going before tweedle dumb, idiot, dumber, and dumbass, wake up." Siegfried joked.
Cheri nodded.
With that the two new friends lef the roof, but not before Siegfried grabbed his remaining Pizza.
The rest of the year would pass in a blur for the two.
After that day Siegfried and Cheri became completely inseparable from the other, where Siegfried went you would no doubt see Cheri following, whether to the roof, or class, hell Cheri would even wait outside of the bathroom for Siegfried to come out, this had caused a few incidents with the bullies who were looking to put down Cheri, only for Siegfried to come out and kick them all in the nuts... again.
Really cementing his status as the Nutcracker.
Was it slightly unhealthy?, yes..., uncomfortable? at first yes, but at least she knows not to enter the boy's bathroom.
Currently the duo was sitting in class, waiting for the final bell to release them.
Cheri sat in the seat next to Siegfried, in the back left row of desks.
Cheri was drawing a picture while, Siegfried was tuning out everything, while reading a book on his scroll, one from his very first life... the one before he had reincarnated into... him... no not Shirou, boring... mundane, wasted, not really a life he wanted to live, that's why he doesn't consider it one of his lives.
The book was called Summoner, by Taran Matharu. It was about a supposed low class 'orphan' boy who discovers he was a summoner, thus the name, after buying a book about demons and finds a scroll made of human skin within the pages. It was set in a more medieval/fantasyage with magic, demons (although they were more like pokemon), elves dwarves and such, with guns (which were a creation of dwarves.) [PS: this is a real book look it up if you're interested. It's really good.]
Siegfried had already finished the entire trilogy of the books but he decided to read them again... with the hopes that he could use the Runes, which were used in the plot to aid in magic, within to aid in his glyphs. Plus something was bugging him about the way that the MC had tattooed the runes onto his fingers to avoid needing to draw them in the air everytime. He didn't know why it bugged him, but it was like something was on the tip of his tongue, but he couldn't quite know was it meant yet.
It annoyed the shit out of him.
(*Ring!!*)
He was torn out of his thoughts when the final bell rang and the students began to file out of the room, all except Cheri who waited for him.
He stood and grabbed his school bag, a simple black, adjustable, backpack with red secondary color and white trim, with a keychain with a pair of Kanshou and Bakuya crossed over each other as the decorative piece of the keychain.
The backpack and Keychain were both something he had made, he had to draw the married bladed for the staff to get an accurate image of them though.
Anyways.
The five year old boy then swung the backpack up and onto his shoulder.
"Alright Cheri... I guess I'll be seeing you when school starts up again..." Siegfried said awkwardly, as they began to walk through the empty hallways, all the other student having sprinted to leave.
Cheri nodded with a slight sniffle, at the fact she won't see her friend for a while.
Siegfried scratched the back of his hair out of nervous habit, before he decided.
"Gah! Screw it how about we hang out sometime during the summer, maybe go to the beach in Mistral. I might be able to convince my mom to let us go, for vacation? We can bring your parents too." Siegfried said.
Cheri flinched at the mention of her parents, something that made Siegfried's eyes narrow.
"Cheri? Are you ok?" He asked, not wanting to jump to conclusions.
"My... my parents are gone... I'm living in an Orphanage..." Cheri said.
Siegfried relaxed a bit.
"At least she's not being abused... but what about the Orphanage staff..." Siegfried thought.
"I'm sorry... but what do you say, wanna hang out with me during the summer?" Siegfried asked with a soft smile.
Cheri nodded with a bright smile on her face.
Siegfried grinned.
"Great! I'll talk to my mom about it when I see her." Siegfried said.
The two exit the school building, to see the buses had already left... leving poor Cheri without a ride.
Cheri looked down in slight sadness, which Siegfried noticed.
"I'll... ask my mom if we can drop you off when she-"
"Yoohoo!! Sieg!!! Over here!" a feminine voice called out.
Speak of the devil...
Siegfried and Cheri walked over to where Weiss, Winter, and Willow, the layer of whom had been the one to call out.
Cheri fell slightly behind so as to hide from the trio of white haired females.
"Hey mom... sis... Weissy." Siegfried said.
Willow scooped Siegfried up into a hug. Despite having literally seen him that morning.
"Gah!? Mom stop!" Siegfried said as he forced her to let go.
"Oh Hush! I missed you both." Willow sternly told him before she turned to Cheri.
"And now have you been Ms. Blakey." Willow asked with a tilt of her head.
Cheri hid slightly behind Siegfried, and mumbled.
"I'm fine... please just Cheri..."
Willow nodded at that, and ws about to scoop her up in a hug when Siegfried cut her off.
"Mom... The buses left without Cheri... again...could she..." Siegfried said as he hesitated.
"Say no more, I'll be happy to give a ride, and I'm sure Klein wouldn't mind either.
"Well that depends on what Klein is in control." Siegfried joked.
Willow giggled a bit at the joke.
"Also... I was wondering... could we all go to the beach in Mistral? With Cheri... sometime during the Summer. I wanted to do something with Cheri for the summer, and the beach seemed like the best place." Siegfried asked, slightly hesitant.
Willow stared at him.
"Hmmm... and what about Cheri's parents?" Willow asked.
"...gone..." mumbled Cheri.
That one word was all it took for Willow, she scooped the girl up, after having tossed her son aside, and bear hugged the girl.
Siegfried watched from his position on the ground, as Cheri was squeezed tightly, but not enough to cut off air.
"Oh you poor dear!" Willow softly said as she held the girl, who slightly teared up.
Siegfried rose a brow, this was odd... even for the usually drunk Willow.
"I guess she really likes Cheri?" Siegfried asked himself.
After Willow let the girl go she immediately ushered the kids into the car.
The set up was the same as always, youngest in the middle, with Willow and Winter on the outsides, it was a bit cramped with Cheri there but Siegfried didn't really mind, as he went back to his thoughts on the tattoos from the MC of the book he was reading before.
The care ride to the Orphanage was short, about half and hour from the school.
The only problem was that it was in the human area of the city and not the faunus side, aka the slums.
Normally that would be a good thing but this was Mantle, one of the places where Faunus were despised the most.
Eventually Cheri pointed to a worn down appartment building.
Willow frowned at the sight of it, and with good reason, it was not a place fit for children, let alone an Orphanage.
The windows were broken and boarded up. the door looked like it had been bashed in many times, and the outer walls were cracked.
Cheri silently slipped out of her set and somehow managed to crawl over Siegfried, Weiss and Winter to the passenger side door, where she opened it, and left.
She turned to the group.
"Thank you, I'll see you soon..." Cheri mumbled with a bow.
Willow frowned again but kept quiet.
Siegfried smiled kindly and waved goodbye, and she walked to the door and entered the building.
Winter closed the door of the car.
"Shall we go Madame?" Klein asked from the driver's seat.
"No... not yet... I have a bad feeling." Willow said.
"As you wish Madame." Klein said.
Willow observed the Orphanage, for several minutes, but nothing happened, she was about to have Klein start driving, when the door opened and something flew out of the building and impacted the ground.
Willow immediately knew who it was and was about to jump out of the car but Siegfried was already moving before she could even shift her position to grb the door handle.
The door flew open as the boy bolted out and at the body of Cheri Blakley, whose face was bruised and slightly swelling, and blood from her head, dur to her having hit the porch on her forced flight out of the building.
Siegfried felt his blood boil at the sight, he sharply turned his glaring red eyes at the one who threw his friend.
He was short, about 5.4" and incredibly fat, he wore a wife beater tank top with several stains on it, and he was bald with a combover.
Even from where he knelt he could smell the alchohol on the man's breath.
Willow soon joined him in the bloody, frost covered grass that Cheri had landed in.
Siegfried glared at the repulsive man.
Willow checked Cheri's pulse and gasped.
"She hit her head, there's no time to get her to a hospital, I'll have to unlock her aura, if she wants to survive!" Willow said urgently.
Siegfried tore his glare away from the thing in human form, as he held rhe girl's hand gently.
"Sieg-kun?" Cheri groaned out.
"Yeah, Cheri it's me, don't worry your gonna be alright... ok?" Siegfried forced a smiled on his face, with tears forming on the corners of his eyes.
"This never gets easier!" Siegfried growled in his mind, refering to all those he had lost or nearly lost during his other lives.
"Ok... I'm tired Sieg-kun... I'm gonna... sleep... now." She said as she passed out, and her hand went limp.
Siegfried felt his heart clench in anger and sadness, then... nothing.
"Mom... please save her..." Siegfried asked... his tone something Willow had never heard before in him.
Truely Emotionless.
Siegfried stood up and slowly turned to the car, where he saw Winter, who flinched when she saw his emotionless gaze.
The boy motioned to Weiss, then motioned to cover her eyes.
Winter did so, knowing something was about to happen.
Siegfried nodded then snapped his head to Willow, who took that as her sign to unlock the girl's aura.
Siegfried turned to face the thing.
"Huh? w-wwhatt tt-the Who the hell are you twho? whahyy arrre you (*hic*) hherre.." the man slurred out.
Siegfried ignored the man, channeled aura into his legs and charged.
The man was started by the boy's sudden approach and even more by his aura enhanced speed.
Siegfried leapt up at the man on the porch, and a pair of steel colored dao glyph swords formed.
The man fell on his rear when he saw the blades.
Siegfried landed on the porch and slowly walked to the downed man, who tried to scramble away, only for the two blades to pierce his baggy sweatpant and pin him to the porch.
Siegfried stopped in front of the man.
"W-what do you want from me, money?" The man tried to beg, as he lifted up his right hand to shield himself, which showed something Siegfried focused on... brass knuckles.
Siegfried clenched his fists and aura built up on them, and, unknown to him, condensed into a ethereal but solid form, scales and claws
The Aura had condensed itself into thick reptilian scales, some slightly larger, and spiked outwards, and each scaled finger had claws made of steel colored aura at the tip.
But Siegfried didn't notice nor did he care to, as he grabbed the man by his wife beater with his left hand, and pulled him close, as he raised his right arm.
"You want to know what I want, well how about I tell you!" Siegfried growled as his red slit eyes glowed as they bore into the man's soul.
Siegfried got closer and whispered to the man. "Revenge... for Cheri."
He then punched the man in the face with his scaley fist, which sent his jerking back, only to impact the fist again and again.
The boy kept punching the man twenty more times before he roared and threw the man off the porch, where he landed with a thud, his pained cries signified that he wasn't dead.
Willow gazed at her son, having finished unlocking Cheri's crimson colored aura, while he was running at the man, and was now trying to stabilize her vitals
When Siegfried turned and threw the man, she saw his Red eyes as they glowed with... something... primal in their gaze.
Siegfried then looked at his blood covered scaled arms, and then to his mother... before his eyes rolled back into his head and he collapsed in a heap.
Willow immediately ran to her son, and checked his vital and sighed when she saw that his aura was just heavily depleted, most likely by... whatever had come over him.
Winter was glad she had covered Weiss' eyes when she did, as she had never seen or expected her little brother to be so... brutal in his vengeance for the faunus girl.
Her eyes narrowed when she saw the scales and claws, she had met someone during training who could do the same thing, but on her whole body.
Winter had flinched when she saw her brother repeatedly punch the man, she winced when she briefly saw some cartilage from the man's nose fly out from the broken facial appendage, with one well place hook.
Weiss then started to struggle as she wanted to see what was happening so Winter had to focus on keeping her from seeing the brutal sight, by lightly chopping her in the neck to knock her out.
Eventually she saw Siegfried, or what had seemingly possessed him, throw the man with a primal roar, one that didn't sound human.
She then saw him collapse, and her mother run to the boy.
Now... it was time to do her part.
She picked up her Scroll and dialed the for the police, aka the military.
When they other end picked up up Winter began.
"Hello... this is Winter Schnee, I'm calling to report a confirmed case of child abuse at a local orphanage." Winter said, and after a few seconds gave the address and the gps coordinates just to be safe.
It took 30 minutes for the police to arrive and after seeing the state the faunus girl was in, luckily one was in fact a faunus, a moose judging by the antlers in his head, they arrested the man, before they went to search the rest of the house. what they saw was several faunus children, all orphans, beaten bruised, tied to walls and the like.
The faunus cop and even the human cop was horrified at the cruelty.
Willow had placed the unconscious Siegfried in the car next to Weiss, before she went out to speak with the cops.
"Thank you for your cooperation Ms..." The human cop said not looking up from his police book.
"Mrs actually... and it's Schnee.
The Faunus cop, paused at that but was busy trying to sort out the abused orphans.
"Yes ma'am... Mrs. Schnee, can you tell me you connection with the girl that was abused." The officer asked.
"She's my son's best friend, and I'm rather fond of her myself." Willow said.
"Mhm... Now can you tell us why you were here in the first place?"
"Certainly, the bus from the school had left without her, so my son asked me if we could give her a ride." Willow explained.
"Right... and after doing so why did you stay?" The officer asked.
"The building... it's in to poor a condition to be a governmentally funded Orphanage. I knew something was up." Willow said.
The officer nodded, and closed his book.
"Thank you ma'am, and have a nice day." The officer said as he turned to leave.
"Wait!" Willow said.
The officer turned to face the woman.
"Yes Ma'am?" he asked.
"Cheri... what will happen to her?" Willow said while she bit her lip.
"She will most likely placed into a proper Orphanage." The man said.
Willow bit her lip harder.
"No... I'll take her in..." Willow said.
The faunus cop actually tripped and fell when he heard that.
The human cop sighed.
"Ma'am I'm sorry but there are rules to these things." the human cop sighed.
"Oh I know that's why under International Remnant law # 18 the aura clause, I am to take custody of the Girl." Willow said.
"Ma'am that rule only applies to active and retired hunters and only if the child has their aura unlocked by the person evoking the clause." The officer sighed boredly.
Willow immediately whipped out her Huntress ID card and showed it to the man, who blinked.
"The girl has had her aura awoken, by me, to save her life as she was injured in the head, when the assailant threw her off the porch." Willow smirked.
The human cop tilted his head to his Faunus partner, who pulled out a Scroll, and used it to scan for and active aura.
"She's not lying Geoff, the girl does have an aura active." The faunus said as he pocketed his scroll.
"Tch... very well. Mrs. Schnee we will leave the child in you ... capable... hands." The police officer, Geoff, said with a bit of sarcasm, although he didn't really care, as it was less paperwork for him to fill out.
Willow nodded to the man, who then turned to leave, without his partner, who decided to stay with the 20 or so children, until the police bus arrived, to take them to a proper Orphanage for Faunus children.
Willow sighed when the man left, then she returned to the car, while holding Cheri in her arms.
She opened the Driver side back door only to pause.
"Awww!" Willow cooed as she was greeted by the sight of Weiss cuddling her brother, in their unconscious state with their heads on Winter's lap.
She then slowly placed Cheri down next to Siegfried and Weiss, and closed the door.
Normally she would have gotten in but this time due to the sleeping children, she wouldn't have had room, so she went to the passenger front seat instead.
"Shall we go Madame?" Klein asked.
"Yes... take us home." Willow said.
"If I may Madame, what will we be doing with the girl? Master Jacque will be most displeased of a faunus living in the same house as him." Klein asked.
"... she... during the summer and after school... she'll be training to be a maid for the family... or rather Siegfried's personal maid. We already have several faunus among the staff so Jacque shouldn't mind that much. I will also train her to control her aura, if she decides later on to be a huntress then so be it." Willow said.
"As you wish Madame, will I be in charge of her training to be a maid?" Klein asked.
"Of course. As head of staff that is your responsibility." Willow said.
"As you wish Madame." Klein said, before they began their ride back to Atlas.
The ride back was silent, no one spoke after what had happened, with the kids still unconscious and all there wouldn't be that much talking to begin with.
However dispite the silence Willow's mind was in a uproar. She couldn't stop thinking about Siegfried's brutal crusade against that false Orphanage owner, more specifically his use of glyphs, and his sudden transformation.
She knew what it was, Jacque, despite not liking to talk about his old family, did mention once about how their Semblance gives them the form and tuh might of dragons (as and active effect), and absolute mastery of all forms of weaponry (as a passive).
When he was younger, Willow thought that, due to his eyes, Siegfried would've had Jacque's old family semblance.
But... she had seen him use glyphs, but also the transformation he had went through, proved that he had another semblance, something that was supposedly impossible.
But then again... there were rumors that hereditary semblances can be combined, or rather fuze, making a new semblance altogether.
Willow looked into the rearview mirror and stared at her son.
"Is it true then? Did our family semblance and Jacque's old family's, the Ormr's, semblance fuse together... if so... then how far will you go in life... my little Sieg." Willow thought.
[A/N: Fwew! Finally done. But seriously that warning up there is legit.Anyways I hope you all enjoyed, and those who read the original Glyphed Swordsman, will notice that Totsū Yurei isn't Cheri's guardian in this, that's because this guy will be more with Salem and is the one who killed Cheri's parents. Also let me know what you think of the Ormr semblance, I've put a lot of thought into it, It will not be overpowered Ok. I will act like a... devil trigger, of sorts, it will have a time limit, and the current state of it, (just the arms being scaled) will be very weak, and due to his current lack of control he won't be able to use it's full power until much later in the story.
