Allow me my lord
Rin still bruised became her old self again. She worked five times harder and awoke hours earlier. She was determined to prove herself once again.
She trained even harder than ever before with Inuyasha and Kohaku. She focused and tried harder in her teachings with Kaede and Kagome. All in hopes to spend hours of uninterrupted moments with her beloved lord Sesshomaru.
She enjoyed having him back so much she was overwhelmed with strength and confidence once more. Her giddy energy often taken out upon Kohaku with tight hugs and jumping into his arms excitedly or leaving a friendly kiss upon his cheek.
Kohaku still being as shy as always didn't really know how to return Rins energy and excitement so he often just shied away or blushed and stuttered uncontrollable nonsense.
Upon Sesshomarus return he told Rin he'd be back in precisely three days and offered her to join him upon a short patrol. Rin excitedly accepted and begged Kaede to allow it. Even though she really didn't need her permission Rin sought after it anyway.
The young girl that Rin had saved awoke later that same evening Sesshomaru first returned. Rin was the only person the young girl trusted and didn't shy away from. She explained to Rin who she was and how she came to be a captive of the bandits that Ah-Un killed.
After a day Kohaku offered to take the girl back home on Kirara. Rin offered to travel with her if she felt uneasy or terrified of flying with Kohaku.
Once Rin and Kohaku took flight the old priestess Kaede requested that Inuyasha and Kagome assist her in something of great importance.
"AIN'T NO WAY THATS GONNA HAPPEN!" Inuyasha could be heard from outside the small hut of Kaede.
"Oh calm down Inuyasha! It's for Rin! You do care about her don't you!" Kagome argued back.
"Why do I gotta go and babysit the little brat! Ain't like Sesshomarus gonna let nothin happen to her! Besides the kid knows how to protect herself jus fine!" Inuyasha crossed his arms and turned away from the conversation acting like a child.
"Aye. She does know how to fight and how to defend herself. The young Rin knew of these skills when she was attacked as well. Your brother is known for wondering off and leaving his group is he not. Who's to say for certain what could happen. The child was over powered by a group of horrible bandits. Human bandits I remind thee. What would happen if she should be left to deal with a hoard of demons on thy own?" Kaede said calmed and collected.
In truth she did not trust nor did she want Sesshomaru taking her young Rin. Kaede as strong a woman as she was and as much evil as she had witnessed in her many years still had nightmares about the horrors that almost be fell her sweet Rin.
Inuyasha stood silent as his eyes darted open in fear. He didn't bother to look back at the old woman or his beloved Kagome. As he walked out lifting the straw door he spoke his decision one last and final time. "Fine. Don't expect Sesshomaru to agree with it though." Inuyasha continued his exit.
I could never live with myself if something happen to her again. I should have been more alert! Damnit Sesshomaru! You better not hurt her!
Inuyashas thoughts were interrupted by the gentle touch of Kagomes hand upon his shoulder.
"Come on lighten up! It'll be fun! Just like old times?" Kagome nudged the half demon she adored so much to lighten up and trust her.
And just like that Inuyasha awaited for the awful day he'd be forced to follow his hated half brother.
Rin joyfully packed for her patrol with Sesshomaru. She didn't know how long she'd be gone but wanted to be decently prepared. She laughed to herself thinking how foolish it was to pack anything at all. She never needed anything before when she traveled with her lord Sesshomaru.
Now she just made sure to pack some extra food in order not to slow down her lord a blanket for her, Ah-Un and Jaken and of course three books that she started reading figuring perhaps she could read them to her lord.
"Hey Rin! You sure are excited to get going?" Kagome smiled as she teased the young and excited Rin.
"Yes!! I can't wait Kagome! I finally get to follow lord Sesshomaru again! I've been waiting for so long Kagome!" Rin spoke with complete and total trust and love for Sesshomaru.
Kagome felt a little uneasy being that she never had a spare moment to speak to Rin about her and Inuyasha accompanying them.
"Yeah..Well you know it's just for a little? Your coming back to Edo with Inuyasha and I after a few days.." Kagome spoke with a heaviness to her heart.
Rin giggled happily. "I know Kagome! I'm just happy that lord Sesshomaru is allowing me to follow him again even if it's just for a little! I've missed him and master Jaken so much!!" Rin jumped in excitement hugging Kagome.
"Well I'm happy for you than." Kagome hugged her friend and smiled brightly. She loved seeing Rin so full of excitement and happiness again just the way she remembered the young girl before the well closed all those years ago.
Rins head shot up in excitement hearing the argument of Jaken and Kaede just outside her hut.
"Absolutely not! That half demon and his disgusting human are unworthy of the honor of following the great and powerful lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken argued as Sesshomaru stood outside awaiting Rin.
"What was that you stupid little toad!" Inuyasha began beating on the small and weak Jaken.
"It would be an absolute pleasure to have you accompany us.." Jaken fell backwards now unconscious on the ground.
"Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin exited and bowed with a large smile on her face and a small travelers sack packed with her books, blankets and food.
"Rin." Sesshomaru looked to her with disgust as to the hideous outfit she wore. It was so dull and old. It did not match his Rins wonderfully bright personality. He hated it with a passion. "Before we leave you will change." Sesshomaru spoke with his calm and emotionless tone as he jested with his eyes to the stack of fine silks on a wagon that Jaken had pulled all the way there.
"Oh my! Thank you lord Sesshomaru! They are beautiful my lord! I will change as my lord commanded right away! Is it alright my lord if I wear something other than what you have brought?" Rin asked as she bowed her respect and gratitude.
"As long as it is not similar to what you wear now." Sesshomaru spoke intrigued by Rins question.
"I understand. I will change into something more suitable for patrols my lord." Rin smiled and bowed once more. She ran inside and quickly threw on her slayers uniform. She pulled a few strands of wild hair to the side trying to brush the stubborn knots out with no success. She struggled a little longer before brushing it out smooth and tying it up in her signature style. She than fastened her dagger to her hip and stepped out from the bamboo door.
Sesshomarus breath was caught in his throat for a mere second. Now out of the hideous garments That turned his stomach upside down he finally noticed all the changes in Rins feminine body.
Her long toned arms and legs, her curvaceous ass and hips that looked perfect for breeding and her large and perky breast. The tightness of her slayers uniform showed off each and every detail. Had Sesshomaru been a weaker demon the fire burning in his crotch would have been apparent by a large erection.
Sesshomaru turned on his heel ready to leave. While Inuyasha and Jaken still argued. "Come on master Jaken! Or you'll get left behind!" Rin ran beside her lord.
And just like that the small group was off.
After a few hours of Rins non stop talking she noticed how distracted Sesshomaru seemed to be.
"It will rain soon." Sesshomaru spoke as he looked to the clear blue skies smelling the impending storm.
"You must be brain dead! Ain't no chance! Do you see a single cloud in the sky ya idiot!" Inuyasha was deep in demon territory.
His senses no longer use to the strong smells of demons and their overwhelmingly large auras blocked him from smelling the salt in the air from the ocean near by that brought with it a hurricane.
Within minutes it became dark and rain fell heavily. Sesshomaru guided his small group to a nearby cave. He took a seat at the edge of the cave entrance and watched the rain fall. Drying himself with his demonic aura.
Rin strunged our her hair as Jaken and Kagome built a fire.
Inuyasha stood silent and annoyed. He hated that Sesshomaru was right and was embarrassed he couldn't smell it over all the other intense aromas blocking his senses.
"I guess we can start warming up some food? I only brought veggies with me. Wanna help out Rin?" Kagome asked the day dreaming girl.
She dared not ask a second time seeing how happy she was simply staring up at the demon she waited for all those years. Kagome knew exactly how she felt. She even began to wonder if Rin was in love with her demon brother in law. Or if she even understood what it meant to be in love.
"Umm lord Sesshomaru? I was wondering if it would be ok if I read out loud one of the books you left for me? If you wouldn't mind that is my lord." Rin asked with her sweet smile.
Sesshomaru said nothing as he watched the rain fall. Rin began to take her books out. She was going to read from her Tales of wars book since it had stories of Sesshomarus late father. Just as she reached for the book her actions were halted by the soft tone of his voice.
"No. The second one. Page 47." Sesshomaru never removed his eyes from the falling rain.
Rin smiled and sat closer to Sesshomaru opening the book of poetry to the page requested.

What is she like?
I was told she is a melancholy soul.
She is like
The sun to night;
A momentary gold.
A star when dimmed
By dawning light;
The flicker of a candle blown.
A lonely kite
Lost in flight
Someone had once flown.
Rin spoke softly and quietly and as she did Sesshomaru extended his mokomoko over her shivering wet body.
She continued to read on as Kagome encouraged Inuyasha to leave them both be for a moment.
