The differences between Dogs and Dog demons
Upon patrol they ventured far from Rins small village. Inuyasha and Kagome making a lot more noise than Sesshomarus small group was accustomed to.
During the one day period they were traveling after the storm Kagome had given Inuyasha at least 15 "Sit Boy!" commands.
Sesshomaru ignored it during their travel until he realized what compelled his idiotic half brother to obey.
Passing by a large ocean Rin asked if they could rest for a moment and enjoy the cool waters.
Which of course brought forward an argument between Kagome and Inuyasha that girls are much needier and lazier than men.
Kagome wanting time to enjoy the ocean herself told Inuyasha how he was wrong and that he should lighten up. She lifted a stick and tossed it far down the beach screaming "fetch boy!"
Inuyasha momentarily found himself chasing after the thrown stick and stopped just short of it realizing he fell for the same trick twice and worse it was in front of Sesshomaru who seemed not to have noticed as he was perched on top of a rock watching Rin and Jaken kick around in the shallow waters of the beach.
Sesshomarus attitude suddenly angered. He jumped high into the air lunging in the direction of Inuyasha his nails glowed green and venomous. He slashed only a hair away from Inuyashas face the body of a large and long slimy demon who's head was focused on devouring Rin.
Inuyasha blinked confused and than snapped at Sesshomaru. "What the hell was that! You almost killed me!" Inuyasha angrily yelled.
"If I desired your pathetic life you'd have been killed long ago. I am curious. What is the purpose of such an item?" Sesshomaru lifted Inuyashas binding beads with two fingers. Causing only a few random sparks of electricity to circulate around his two long digits.
"There charmed beads to keep Inuyasha from being bad. You must have noticed them before?" Kagome said playfully.
"A collar other words. To make him behave? Your binding words the command to be seated." Sesshomaru arched his brow in anger.
"I guess? It's not really like that though?" Kagome thought back to the reason Inuyasha wore his beads of subjugation.
"Hm." Sesshomaru gave a violent tug instantly causing a pull of pink preventing them from breaking than a large electrical wave swirled around his fingers and the and the necklace shattered. "You are a demon of the most respected dog clan in the west/East/south and north. Even though you are merely a half demon take pride in your blood and history. Otherwise I will remove your disrespectful existence from this world." Sesshomaru walked off as if nothing had bothered him before. "Jaken! Rin. Let's go." Sesshomaru spoke to his small group and continued his patrols.
"Yes mi lord!" Rin stopped splashing Jaken and ran to Ah-Un guiding him by his reins.
"Dwo.? Wait for me mi lord!" Jaken chased after his group slowed down by his wet robes.
"Hmph! What's that guy's problem? As if I'm afraid of him!" Inuyasha tucked his hands into his haori and walked off annoyed.
"Big brother! Wait! I'm sorry. I didn't think about how those beads of subjugation could come off as being disrespectful to you and your family. In all honesty Inuyasha doesn't even need them anymore. I'm not sure why they were still on in the first place?" Kagome said hoping her genuine apology would be accepted.
"What you mean to say girl is that you have housebroken my younger brother. How foolish." Sesshomaru continued on, making Kagome feel like speaking just wouldn't help right now.
The last thing she wanted to do was anger or disrespect her new family.
"Lord Sesshomaru seems to be really hurt." Rin said in a quiet whisper to Jaken.
"Silly girl! Mi lord can not be hurt by the actions of a mere human! Lord Sesshomaru is simply putting that arrogant woman in her place! There is a great deal of difference between a pathetic mutt and a mighty dog demon! Such as lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken yelled in his annoying voice lecturing Rin.
"Like what master Jaken?" Rin asked genuinely curious.
"Wha? Ugh well you see? The differences are?? Oh don't ask such silly questions girl!" Jaken said angrily and confused.
"You don't know? Do you master Jaken?" Rin said loud enough to catch Sesshomarus attention.
Rin and Jaken continued to argue back and fourth of he wanting her to be quiet and her wanting him to admit he didn't know anything.
The annoying arguments were a familiar comfort to the great and cold dog demon lord.
