How interesting?

With the cold winters quickly approaching the small village of Edo prepared for the long frosty months ahead.

Inuyasha, Miroku, Shippo and Kohaku were all asked to help mind the crops and muddy fields in hopes to get as much possible stored for this winter.

It was the head priestess Kaede who had made this decision to have the four strongest do the more heavier and honestly more filthier jobs.

By the time the boys were done they were covered in mud and dirt from head to toe.

"Man you guys stink! If soap and deodorant were ever more needed!" Kagome held her nose and wished she had her futuristic amenities.

Sango giggled as she lifted a muddied vine from Mirokus shoulder. And laughed even harder seeing Kohaku and Shippo shake their heads of all the dried dirt that made a cloud of dust form causing the young men to cough.

"What the heck is de-order-ent? Your always so caught up in that other stupid world of yours. Heh! Only thing that world was good for was for ninja food!" Inuyasha turned his back with his arms tucked missing the taste of the instant ramen Kagome often brang for him.

"It's deodorant and it would've come in handy right about now. You guys are gonna need a bath later on." Kagome smiled at the pleasant thoughts of her and Inuyasha getting a chance to relax alone and just soak their sore muscles together.

"Nonsense. There be no better time than now. Go on! All of ye wash up quickly. Sango and Kagome I can use some help in the storage sheds if ye ladies are not busy that be." Kaede said walking up slowly behind them.

"Oh? Ugh I guess not. Sure. We'll catch up with you boys later." Kagome waved off sadly as she left with Kaede and Sango.

"Hey? Has anyone seen Rin anywhere?" Sango asked curious as to where the young girl could be.

"Aye. I asked her to fetch some herbs for me from Jinenji. She should be returning shortly." Kaede said as they proceeded.

"All alone? Are you sure that was safe?" Kagome asked worriedly.

"Ah-Un is most likely with her. I'm sure she is fine." Sango assures as the women continued with their jobs.

"Hm? I wonder where lady Kaede could've left a whole quiver of arrows? It's so unlike her? I hope they didn't get knocked into the lake by accident?" Rin wondered as she bent down into some bushes looking for the old priestess misplaced arrows.

Just as she did noises of approaching bodies could be heard. Luckily she recognized the voices. She tried to sit up and ask for her friends assistance but her new kimono got caught onto a branch. Rin tried to pull it out softly so she wouldn't ruin her new kimono.

All the men unaware that Rin was caught in the bushes approached the lake throwing their dirty clothes to the side. They all stood barely submerged when they heard the rustling in the bushes.

Finally breaking free Rin popped her head up expecting to see her fully clothed friends was instead met with four very masculine and very naked bodies.

"Aghhhh! Why are yous naked!!" Rin blushed and dipped back down into the bushes.

"Wha? Why are you spying!! Get outta here!?" Inuyasha yelled at the embarrassed young Rin.

Upon her ducking in fear she noticed hidden between two thick branches was the quiver she had originally been looking for.

"Oh! I found them!" Rin popped back up in excitement.

This time Miroku, Kohaku, Shippo and Inuyasha was completely submerged and covered. Still embarrassed by having been seen by Rin Inuyasha yelled at her once again.

"GET OUTTA HERE!" The half demon shook his fist violently at Rin.

"Ok fine! I was not spying by the way! I was looking for lady Kaedes arrows!" Rin made a silly face by pulling her lower eye lid down and sticking her tongue out at Inuyasha mocking him as she walked away.

The more steps she took the tighter she held the quiver of arrows to her chest. Rin blushed a deep red and could not un see the vision of their muscular bodies.

I wonder if Lord Sesshomaru looks like that?

Rin wondered as she walked back to her village.

"That was embarrassing.." Kohaku sighed sadly.

"Tell me about it? I wonder what Rin was doing here?" Miroku pondered on her last words.

I could swear I overheard lady Kaede say she sent Rin off to Jinenji?

"She said she was looking for some arrows. I believe her for two reasons. 1 Rin doesn't lie. 2 She was holding a quiver of arrows. They looked to be sacred arrows?" Shippo said as he floated in the water.

"Whatever the case was she shoulda never stood that long! Kids became weird again now that Sesshomaru is back. I wish the guy woulda never come back." Inuyasha said while sitting against the stone.

"If lord Sesshomaru hadn't returned...Than Rin wouldn't have been herself these past few weeks. She woulda still been miserable and upset." Kohaku looked at his own reflection disappointingly.

"Yeah I guess.." Inuyasha huffed.

"Regardless it has happened. I'll ask Sango to speak to Rin later. She is much older now. I'm sure it came as quite a surprise for her seeing us all." Miroku said knocking the knots outta his shoulder with his fist.

"Yeah. It'll probably be better if Kagome talks with her. We're a lot closer to the kid.." Inuyasha said rolling the tense muscles outta his shoulders.

"I beg your pardon Inuyasha. But Sango has know Rin all her life. Kagome was gone for five years. Rin hardly knows her, let alone to be closer to her." Miroku said relaxed.

"Maybe. But since she has been back Kagome has been with her everyday. She feels more connected to Kagome. Everyone does for some odd reason." Inuyasha said annoyed at everyone's shared affection for the priestess in training.

"I doubt that. Rin obviously gravitates towards my family. I believe she even seeks to become a part of it. No one can blame you for not noticing. You were in your own moods after all." Miroku said slightly annoyed.

"What was that monk?" Inuyasha bumped heads and growled face to face with Miroku as they argued who's woman was more useful in the village.

"Man they are stupid?" Shippo said looking at the two argue.

"Yeah? I hope they don't start fighting..?" Kohaku sighed exhausted by his friends constant bickering.
