So that's love?

"I don't get it? What's so important about a stupid valentine or whatever?" Inuyasha barked at Kagome angrily.

"It's not stupid! And it's our first valentines together! How can you not want to make it special?!" Kagome shouted back loudly

"I don't even know what the hell it is! Why would I want to make it special!" Inuyasha said angry and confused.

"You can be a real jerk sometimes you know that!" Kagome yelled and stormed off.

Inuyasha huffed folding his arms. He than walked off angrily out of sight.

"Everything ok Kagome? What was you and Inuyasha arguing about?" Rin asked innocently.

"Nothing I guess.. Inuyasha can just be so incentive sometimes.." Kagome said as she angrily gathered water with Rin.

"Oh ok. Sorry." Rin replied unsure how to answer her.

"Oh you don't have to apologize for his stupidity! I'm sorry if I'm making you feel uncomfortable. I know you and Inuyasha are super close." Kagome sighed sadly. "I just figured that once he knew it meant something to me he'd get it. I don't know why I keep expecting him to change you know?" Kagome sighed out, walking a bit calmer now.

"I don't sorry. Why does it bother you like this?" Rin asked shyly.

"Well I guess it's because I love him. I want him to care about what I care about, and I want him to show me from

Qtime to time that he does care about me. And I know that's asking a lot from Inuyasha." Kagome giggled. "But I still expect him to show some effort you know." Kagome smiled.

"You love lord Sesshomarus brother? Yous don't act like your in love?" Rin said with a light blush to her cheeks.

"What do you mean?" Kagome looked to the blushing young girl.

"Well? I just meant that? Aren't people in love supposed to hug and hold and you know? Kiss. Like Sango and Miroku?" Rin looked off to her side blushing deeper than before.

Kagome had caught notice of such an act and looked to see who made the young Rin blush so. She seen Kohaku sitting on a log just talking to some of the other village boys.

Wow?! Rin likes Kohaku!? Who woulda guessed? Oh wow this will be soooo super adorable!

Kagome smiled with giddy energy. "Not everyone has the stamina that Sango and Miroku do. And some couples show their love in different more quieter ways." Kagome said with her index finger pointed to the sky as she stated her facts. She gave the girl a teasing wink at the end.

"Oh ok. I'm sorry for asking such a personal question I'm just curious I guess.." Rin blushed and stopped walking. "Well I gotta go back to lady Kaede. I'll see you later on!" Rin waved her goodbyes as she headed to the small hut.

Later that evening Kaede had given Rin a package of a contraceptive tea Kagome had requested from Kaede. She told Rin to be careful and bring her dagger to keep herself safe.

Rin had no problem with delivering said package as she was sleeping over at Kagome and Inuyasha tonight anyway so she can go to her lords castle the next day for her training.

Rin walked through the former Inuyasha forest and began her small journey to their home in front of the well.

Kagome had been distraught all day since her argument with Inuyasha since he never returned home.

She had cooked his favorite stew and purchased some sweets to make up for the argument.

She had reasoned with herself that since she was living in the past she should except that they'd never celebrate her future holidays that obviously wouldn't be around for awhile.

When she walked outside to fetch more water to make herself tea, she was stunned and caught off guard by a bruiting Inuyasha.

"Inu?" Kagome was spoken over.

"These are for you.." Inuyasha held up a bunch of wild daffodils.

His prideful face blushed lightly as he looked away from his nagging bride.

Kagome smiled. And held her hands to her chest, dropping the forgotten bucket to roll down on the ground.

"You went to pick these for me?" Kagome said in a quiet whisper.

"Well yeah isn't that what you wanted anyway!!" Inuyasha looked back yelling but quickly calmed seeing her tear up. "Hey, I'm sorry ok? I didn't mean to make you cry? If you don't like them you don't have to keep them?!" Inuyasha said with his typical attitude as he stood just a little closer to the crying girl of the future.

"It's not that...I love them! Thank you! I was so scared you was never gonna come back!" Kagome wrapped her arms around Inuyasha and cried into his chest.

"What? Why would I? Come here ya idiot. Never. Nothing could ever stop me from coming back to you Kagome. You should know that by now." Inuyasha said holding her close and stroking her hair.

Kagome sobbed some and wiped her eyes with her balled hand. She looked up into the eyes that sparkled like two amber crystals.

"Inuyasha." Kagome whispered and leaned into his lips. "I love you." She said finishing closing the distance between the two of them.

Inuyasha looped his arm around lovingly. He pulled his wife into a much more heated and loving kiss.

Meanwhile a pair of curious brown eyes watched and observed as the loving couple touched, pet, and tasted one another.

Rin watched feeling incredibly rude and perverted. She was also however so fascinated and eager to learn.

So that's what love looks like?
