A/N: So super sorry for the long breaks in updating this story. I got busy with holidays and another story I'm struggling with completing. Lol I can't finish a story to save my life! Lol Either way! She is not my like my fathers mistress

Sesshomaru watched from his high balcony as Buru dodged her direct attacks.

She wore those damn slayers tights. The same outfit that made him desire his young ward.

Sesshomaru dug his nails into the stone balcony.

Her eyes do not sparkle? What a foolish assumption.

Sesshomaru mocked himself and turned back into his chambers.

Rin grunted as she attacked. She was trying a new attacking method which Buru took notice of.

"You are to weak to attack a mighty demon such as I!" Buru boasted about his greatness as he brought his axe down to throw her back across the training arena.

Rin gritted her teeth and began struggling for air. Between the high altitude of the castle and cold chill in the air, her training so hard wasn't giving her lungs much rest.

"Your right general Buru. I can not defeat you head on." Rin smiled and swung her dagger around by the long chain she had willed. "I can however defeat you my way." Rin smiled victoriously as she sent the dagger flying.

Buru prepared to dodge her obviously foolish attack. He was surprised when the dagger became a large metal net that held him down to the ground.

Rin than walked over to him lifting his fallen axe from the ground. She stumbled left and right and almost fell face forward into the ground by it's ridiculous weight which made Rin giggle.

"Do you yield general Buru? The net is made with my lords strength and demonic power you'll never over come it." Rin smiled trying to hold the axe to the bull demons neck.

Buru laughed loudly and began yelling soon after. He summoned all his demonic aura to raise her net from off his body.

Rin gasped at the terrifying strength of her master. And without realizing was pinned by her neck to the ground. She quickly tapped his hand signaling her acceptance of her defeat and not being able to continue.

Buru released her and lifted his axe from the side of her head with ease. He strutted over to a bowl filled with water and sat. He than began splashing the water around his face.

"You can fight pretty good when you try? I'm actually kinda tired. Just know that your blade is as strong as the great lord Sesshomaru, but it's master decides and controls the limits of said strength." Buru said as a taunt but was telling the truth. Rin had indeed given him a surprising warm up.

Rin smiled happily. "I'm glad. I have an excellent teacher you know." Rin smiled rising from the ground.

"Than you will demonstrate what you've learned." Sesshomaru said coming into sight slowly.

He hadn't dawned his usual look this cold morning. He wore an open black haori with no sleeves. Long white pants that he tightened by tying them tightly around his trim waist. They than flared out around his legs, exposing his feet as he wore no shoes. His long flowing hair that normally would be blowing in the wind was now tied into a high ponytail.

Rin hadn't realized the way the others did how much he resembled his late lord father at that very moment.

"Lord Sesshomaru.." Rin couldn't help but feel odd. She was staring at her lord with practically no shirt on and for some strange reason found his feet just as attractive as the rest of him.

She began to get a sharp stabbing feeling in her core. It was like an aching that caused her pain. Her cheeks became a bright red and she had no idea as to why.

Lord Sesshomaru? You seem so different somehow?

Rin couldn't bring herself to speak.

Suddenly Hagetaka landed and closed his mighty wings behind the dog demon lord.

"He means for you to duel young girl." Hagetaka said trying to pull her out of her trance.

"I..I..can not my lord..I'm sorry. Perhaps another time? I gotta go!!" She bowed to Sesshomaru and Hagetaka, turning she bowed her respects to Buru and took off running as far away as she could.

Lord Sesshomaru why can't I stop thinking about you?

"Ugh? Is she allowed to do that?" Buru questioned looking at Sesshomaru.

"Perhaps she had assumed today to be shorter. She is not accustomed to training in winter correct?" Sesshomaru said watching her still run away.

I can get you so easily? Do you not realize how superior to you I truly am? It wouldn't take me more than a second to tackle you down.

"Correct my lord. Would you like me to bring her back?" Hagetaka asked looking at Sesshomaru who's mind was obviously elsewhere.

"No." Sesshomaru walked back into his chambers. Changing into his usual clothes.

He had succeeded in what he wanted to do.
