That's a little weird?

"Lady Kaede? Are you home?" Kagome pushed back the straw door entering the small hut.

Her eyes immediately landed on a happy young girl humming sweet melodies lost in her fantasy world.

Kagome giggled as she watched Rin dance around dusting the hut. "Rin?" Kagome called out.

The young girl heard nothing. She could only hear the sweet words spoken by her lord so many days ago.

"I am a demon Rin. Your age matters not to me. The only significant reason that prevented my advances was the simplicity that if I took you when I wanted, you would lose the ability to carry. I know you desire kin. If you so desire, then I shall be the one to provide you with pups."

Those words meant more to her than any of his extravagant gifts. She danced around the small hut where she lived, playing with the hanging pendant around her neck.

Her mind sang the words he had said when gifting her with said necklace.

"This is for you to always have on your person. It is a symbol among demons that you are claimed."

Rin blushed wildly, holding her heated cheeks.

"Oh lord, Sesshomaru! I love you! I love you. I love you, I LO-" Rin blinked herself to reality. She eeped before hiding her hands that held the dirtied rag behind her back. "Oh? Ugh..hi Kagome?" Rin smiled nervously.

Kagome smiled and giggled at the young in love girl. "Was I interrupting anything? I was looking for Kaede." Kagome smiled at Rin.

"I'm sorry, I guess I was lost in thought?" Rin giggled, embarrassed. "I'm afraid lady Kaede isn't here. She hasn't exactly been speaking to me these past few days." Rin said sadly.

Kagome walked over to the young Rin and placed a comforting arm around her. "Just give her time. She just wants what's best for you. She loves you very much, you know." Kagome hugged her.

"I know. I just wish she understood." Rin hugged her back, grateful for presence.

"That necklace Sesshomaru bought you is beautiful." Kagome decided to switch the topic.

"Oh! Lord Sesshomaru didn't buy this! He made it!" Rin smiled, holding the hanging pendant.

"Wow? Who woulda thought that Sesshomaru of all people was a jeweler." Kagome smiled.

"It's not. It's his blood, bone, and hair.-Rin removed the necklace.-See! His hair-she showed Kagome the string the pendant hung from.-His bone.-She smoothed her thumb over the intricately designed bone.-And his blood!" Rin caressed the small glass vile that contained his blood.

She then placed the pendant back over her head.

"Oh...? Ugh...That's very umm? Special..?" Kagome grinned, disturbed.

"I know! I felt so horrible that lord Sesshomaru cut off his thumb, but he was able to grow it back immediately, so I guess it's fine!" Rin smiled and continued on with her chores.

Kagome grinned, disturbed, and stood silent. She had no clue what to say on that note.
