For Mi Lord!

Jaken paced grand halls in a regal castle as his lord dealt with other noble demons.

"Lord Sesshomaru can't be serious about this, can he? Surely mi lord isn't prone to making rash decisions!? Dwoh! What am I saying! Of course, he's prone to rash decisions! Mi lord is acting like a wild dog chasing a squirrel!!!!" Jaken complained loudly as he stopped around, flailing his arms like a child.

"You realize our lord can hear you, yes? He is a dog demon. His hearing is impeccable." Rashini mentioned standing over the tiny demon.

"Hm? Of course, I do! I am his most trustworthy and loyal vassal! I know everything there is to know about mi lord!" Jaken retorted.

"So it was your intention to insult him?" Rashini questioned.

"No! Never! I? Well, you see? Doh! I'm doomed!" Jaken began to cry.

"His surveillance of the lands has definitely made him humble. Lord Sesshomaru is nothing like the pup he once was." Rashini smiled.

The memories of her lord filled her mind. He had lost his heart and lost his way. It seems. However, the late lord known as the great dog general was correct. Sesshomaru would find his way yet again.

None would have ever believed that it was because of the love for a human girl. How long he had cursed, killed, and swore to exterminate the race that brought his father to an early grave.

Now, he was so in love that his life's long goal was being thrown away like it was nothing. Meant nothing. Was nothing.

Rashini could see easily. The only thing that mattered anymore was her.

Rashini smiled. "I suppose there will be a party soon." Rashini smiled. "I should go and prepare our lord's finer silks." Rashini bowed to Jaken and was off.

"What is she talking about? IF ANY ARE TO TEND TO THE NEEDS OF MY MIGHTY LORD, IT IS I JAKEN!" Jaken ran off after Rashini.

"Idiots!" A hiss came from a cornered shadow.

"Indeed. How none understand that this is the opposite of anything good is beyond my understanding." Tokage spoke boredly.

"We shall S-s-simply take matters into our own hands-s-s." Hebi hissed as she emerged from the dark.

"Fine." Tokage rolled his eyes, transforming into a tiny spider he took off.

"Insufferable little human, you can not hope to take the place of new lady! That title will be mine!" Hebi hissed as she walked with a tray of tea.

She entered a large room filled with many lords and ladies of opposing lands.

She set the tray down beside Sesshomaru. "My lord." Hebi bowed.

"No." Sesshomaru sent her away.

Hebi raised her lip in irritation to snarl but decided against it.

She stood holding the tray in a corner.

"We are not allies with the great beast king. The west has a truce based upon the one request made by said beast king. You can not throw that away." One mighty demon spoke to Sesshomaru.

"My lord, none here care to oppose you. We know none of us are strong enough. Why not take the human as your mistress. She will be treated with respect, and all will know she is not to be touched by any other than you, my lord?" Another demon spoke, bowing the whole time as an attempt of respect.

Sesshomaru smiled menacingly. He lifted his hand and decapitating the demon who spoke so lewdly of his Rin.

All gasped, frightened.

"I care not for this conversation any longer. My decision has been made." Sesshomaru stood to leave.

"My lord? Will you not revive him?!" A demon spoke in a trembling worry.

"Why would I do something so foolish." Sesshomaru smiled over his shoulder and took his leave.

"Lord Sesshomaru is unreasonable. His father understood the troubles of his actions and made the honorable decision! He would see us all to the afterlife!" A demon spoke angrily after Sesshomaru took his leave.

"How foolish of you to only speak against our lord when he is not in the room." Hagetaka smiled tauntingly.

"Are we all honestly deciding to sit by idly as he plummets us all into chaos!?" An elder demon spoke angrily, slamming his palms down.

"I don't see any here who feel they can overpower Sesshomaru? So I guess. We shall fight." Toran spoke up with a smile.

"But sister!" Koran looked to her elder sibling with worry.

"But nothing. You all know what's he capable of. I trust Sesshomaru." Toran rose to leave.

Her siblings nodded agreeance and followed.

Meanwhile, a small trembling green kappa went unnoticed as he was hidden beneath many royal fabrics.

Oh no! They mean to turn against mi lord! I must do something! Oh! This is all Rin's fault! Why can't she love someone else! Wait a minute! That's it! She can! She is human, after all! And mi lord had said if she should choose another, he would bear no ill will! Yes, this is a brilliant plan! FOR MI LORD!
