Foolish decisions lead to unfortunate situations
"I feel terribly for Kagome and Inuyasha." Rin sighed sadly as she sat around her two friends Kohaku and Shippo.
"I know...The idea they might not ever have kids. That's awful." Kohaku said sadly.
"C'mon! We gotta think positive! Lady Kaede said because Kagome is a strong priestess and not to mention the reincarnation of Kikyo, the most powerful priestess ever! She could heal herself! Kagome can do anything!" Shippo perked up.
Rin thought of his words and jumped from her seat. "Yeah! Shippo is right! And maybe we can help! Kohaku, if you know of any other priestess, send a message that we need their help! Shippo! You can look for demon cures! There has to be a demon remedy that'll help her! I can even ask lord Sesshomaru if there is something!" Rin smiled.
Kohaku smiled from both his friend's optimism. "Yeah. Ok. We'll do it. For Inuyasha and Kagome!" Kohaku stood.
The three teens all gave their word that they'd do whatever it took to help their friends conceive.
"Yo! Totosai? Is Myoga with you?" Inuyasha walked inside the mouth of a large burned demon skull.
"Hm? Who's there?" Totosai asked.
"Quit it, old man! I ain't got time for that!" Inuyasha clonked Totosai on the head aggressively.
"Inuyasha! When did you get here?" Totosai rubbed his sore head.
"Lord Inuyasha!-Myoga jumped from the shoulder of Totosai onto the nose of Inuyasha, where he began to suck his blood.-What brings you here, my lord? Come to strengthen Tessaiga?" Myoga asked.
Inuyasha took a deep breath and looked at the two old demons.
"I need help...Kagome...She drank something so she wouldn't get pregnant, and now...Well, now she may not be able ever to get pregnant." Inuyasha spoke with a look of hurt that he masked with irritation.
"Why would she go and do a stupid thing like that?" Totosai asked with arms crossed.
"Oh no! This is horrible news!! You'd be an excellent sire!!" Myoga cried out sadly.
"Look! I just need to know if there's anything I can do to help!" Inuyasha yelled out.
"Help what?" Totosai scratched his head confused.
Inuyasha sighed angrily. This was gonna be a long annoying day.
As the sun began its descent and the sky couldn't decide what colors it wanted to wear, a young girl happily awaited her visit from her betrothed.
Feeling circling winds, soft grass crunching under the lightest footsteps, and complete comfort and joy.
Rin spun around with love and admiration. "Lord Sesshomaru! Good evening my lord. You look very handsome as always, my lord." Rin bowed with blushing cheeks.
She honestly could not contain her complete and unconditional love for her Lord Sesshomaru.
"Rin. Stand." Sesshomaru demanded as he continued to get closer.
He couldn't help himself after the first time he had tasted her lips. His resistance had grown weaker and weaker every day. He craved her taste, touch, and scent.
Rin stood with a smile that brought all his walls crumbling down.
He held her chin and leaned down to steal a kiss from his young bride-to-be.
"You are as beautiful a vision as ever," Sesshomaru spoke against her lips lovingly.
Rin wrapped her arms around her lord's neck and kissed him back passionately.
She adored their stolen moments, and she adored more than her lord seemed to enjoy them just as much.
"I've missed you, Lord Sesshomaru." Rin blushed as he set her down.
"Your presence is missed as well.-Sesshomaru lifted her palm to his lips, trailing soft butterfly kisses to her fingers.-How have you faired?" Sesshomaru asked, still holding and kissing up her hand.
Rin giggled as his kisses tickled. Her cheeks, now having permanently taken on the color pink, she hesitated before answering.
Sesshomaru, noticing, became worried. Had someone harmed her? Had that samurai soldier come back to claim her by force?
"Rin. What ails you." Sesshomaru asked again, no longer wanting to think of the many things that could harm her.
"Well? It's nothing that pertains to me exactly... I just can't help but feel hurt from the situation." Rin expressed with an exhale of sadness.
"If it is within my power to change. Then know, I will correct whatever wrong was done if possible." Sesshomaru cupped her cheek.
Rin held his hand and smiled. She then wrapped her arms around her lord happily, remaining silent in his embrace for those few moments.
"It's about something that has happen to Inuyasha and Kagome, my lord," Rin spoke sadly.
Sesshomaru said nothing as he held her close.
"We need to find a remedy for Kagome so she can have kids with Inuyasha," Rin explained simply.
Sesshomaru sat down with Rin as she explained more about what had happened.
After several minutes Sesshomaru brushed the stray hair from her face and made his best attempt at comforting her.
"Their foolish decisions have indeed lead them into an unfortunate situation. However, the priestess should not find it impossible to heal her own body. This should be of no consequence to you, Rin?" Sesshomaru said, or more like asked.
"I know. I just can't help it." Rin replied.
Sesshomaru couldn't understand most of what Rin had said about Kagome and her own time.
However, the thought that she willingly consumed something to keep from having his half-brother's child hit Sesshomaru hard.
Had his brother's priestess truly disliked the idea of breeding with the insufferable abomination so much that she destroyed her own body?
It couldn't be. Sesshomaru gathered his courage and swallowed his pride.
"Rin.-Sesshomaru hesitated to continue even after she immediately answered him.-Do, you wish to bear my children? Or will you go through the same lengths?" Sesshomaru asked nervously and with a heavy heart.
To any other, there was no change in tone or action. To Rin, she knew he was hurting.
"What!? No! Of course not! I would have your children tonight!-Rin blushed, realizing what she said.-What I mean is... I'd love to carry your heirs the moment we are wed, my Lord..." Rin blushed and fiddled with her fingers.
Sesshomaru was pleased with her answer. He held her a moment longer, not being able to answer in any way that didn't end with her impregnation.
"Lord Sesshomaru. I know it has nothing to do with us...If you would happen to know of something that would help them...It would mean a great deal to me." Rin spoke softly.
Sesshomaru acknowledged her with his silence. He then began to walk her home as he would and had done every visit since he proposed.
If it was Rin's wish, then so be it. He would do anything and everything he could to make her happy.
