Why? I ask you, why? WHY am I here? Right I remember, I got stuck here .How'd I get here, you mean in the jungle? Well it started out that we were on camp, Malik and I unfortunately had been giving the task of collecting firewood in the middle of the night to keep the campfire going. To make a long story short, we both managed to get cornered by some bear, jumped into a river and by morning I found myself on the bay of a river. I have no idea where Malik is. I wish I could find someone!
Serenity Wheeler looked out at the river, trying to see if she could find Malik floating on a log somewhere. No sight of him. She heard a roar from somewhere and a yell, it sounded like Malik. Running to the source of the yell. Serenity found Malik running for life as a bear chased him.
"Serenity run!" Malik yelled. The two ran up a tree.
"How long do you think the bear will try and reach us?" Asked Serenity as the clutched on the tree branch tightly.
"About one to two hours. Bears have a really short attention span." Replied Malik.
"I hope you right." Replied Serenity as she anxiously hung onto the branch.
A day later…
Serenity woke up to the next morning, hugging the tree, branch she had been leaning on the whole night. She looked below and there was the bear rolling around the tree still waiting for them to come down. Malik broke off a stick and hurled it towards the bear. The bear ran away. The two teens climbed down from the tree.
"That was close." Sighed Malik.
"Amen." Replied Serenity.
"Do you know where we are?" Replied Malik playing skipping pebbles across the river's edge.
"I don't know." Replied Serenity.
"Well that's helpful." Replied Malik sarcastically.
"It's not like you know either." Yelled Serenity.
"What's your problem?" Asked Malik
"Let's see shall we? Well first we get chased off a cliff into a river by a bear, then we get chased by another bear when we wake up. Then we spend a night sleeping up a tree! We have no idea where we are and it has been two days and nobody has found us!" Yelled Serenity as she broke up into sobs.
"Look it's not like I'm happy! I'm stuck with you!" Replied Malik angrily.
Serenity turned and ran to anywhere as fast as her legs could carry her. Tears streaming down her face. Of all the a-holes she had to be stuck with, it was Malik!
Serenity ran through the bush, not caring if they cut her legs. She ran until she came to a point where there were two men shooting fish in the river. When they heard Serenity come, they turned around and stared at her. Two large, muscular men. One had a bald head with a beard and the other long black hair.
"Well hello, hello." Said the black haired man.
Serenity knew that these men were bad news. Serenity turned around only to be pinned to the ground by the men. One held onto her as the other started to rip off her clothes/ Serenity screamed as loud as she could, hoping that someone would here her. The one, who was holding her down, covered her mouth with his large hand. Serenity closed her eyes…
Ohh…cliffie! What's going to happen? Will anyone rescue Serenity? Or will her fate come? Even more so, how are Malik and Serenity going to find their way back to camp…with out killing each other first? Thankyou for reading my story!
