Fantasy Emotions

By Moonlit Eyes

Roxas couldn't understand it.

They weren't allowed emotions. They weren't supposed to even exist. The only reason they had names was because they weren't allowed to be who they once were. They were, in every way, 'nobody.'

Yet together it was different.

When they were together it was like they weren't empty shells. Like his smiles and laughter was from something other that pretend (not that Roxas really smiled since he could remember...but sometimes, just sometimes...). Like his desire to remember who he was and to be whole for real was from an actual emotional desire. Like he had feelings that were reality. Like he had feelings that were reallybeing returned just as he gave them away; and thus like he really wasn't alone.

"You make me feel like I have a heart."

"Same here."

"Good. Didn't want to think I was alone." A smirk. A blush. But wait, that's wrong. They weren't--

"But this isn't real. We're not supposed to--"

"Shut up, Silly. You're ruining my fantasy."

"But..."

"I said you make me feel like I have a heart. Got it memorized?" Another smirk, but softer. Another blush, but deeper.

"Yeah, yeah, Axel."

And Roxas did have it memorized. At that moment he didn't think anything could make him forget. Not now. Not ever. Even if he still didn't understand how.

Fin.

YAY! I love Axel and Roxas!
