"Kate is great and I think we should go on a date ooh yea baby~" Max was playing guitar for the cute Kate Marsh that she had admired so much, and now knew what she looked like. It was all thanks to that picture. Kate assumed that she also talked to the real Victoria Chase recently after Jefferson's class and got ferociously picked on for her tiny little lie. That was no introductory mistake...
Kate smirked inwardly but felt like a terrible person. Here was this sweet little kitty; singing a very nice song... And then there was she.
"So, you figured it out?!" Kate was still amazed, and a little weary of the consequence of her actions. She could totally go for something sweet right about now. She planned to ask Max to go on their long a-waited tea adventure that she had to cancel because Max had no idea what she looked like. Well, at the time. Sitting on the floor, she sipped a soda.
Max set aside her guitar and grinned blissfully like a girl in love. Kate was a little annoyed with her stupid charm, seduction, and stupidity. Maybe she was dumb...
"Yeah, I talked to Victoria Chase after class and got severely picked on by her and Nate for your mistake yesterday... But it's not your fault!" Max panicked and Kate nearly spilled soda out of her nose at this innocently sweet reaction. Max seemed to fidget ever-so-slightly as she shuffled on the couch. Slowly dropping down to the floor, she made intimate and enduring eye contact. Everything with her was so... Anti-climatic~
"Uh, Warren was there, and he brought us tea and cucumber sandwiches for whatever reason..." She gave a dorky chuckle and massaged the back of her neck. Kate found this adorable but also hated her for having a good time without her. Oh wait, wasn't she getting picked on?!
Now, tea might not be on the menu... Kate bit her lip and briefly looked toward Max's pet plant who was spying. What an eavesdropping perv...
"Lisa seems nice~" Kate said sweetly; pretending like she actually didn't want to handcuff Max to the bed right about now. Honestly, she was also a bit dismayed the whole lying for a relationship thing didn't work out. I was too.
"Yeah, aside from Chloe, she is my best friend and likes my dorm room the best- like she's firmly rooted down into place and can't even escape through the window!" Max didn't take a breath for that entire sentence.
... Who the f*** was Chloe?
"Anyway, Nathan laughed and called me 'A loser', and Victoria laughed and called me 'A loser', Warren spilled tea on his own crotch and no one noticed... Then Julia Watson tripped me in the hallway, but that part's unrelated to being a loser. Wait a minute!" Max nearly stood up like she solved something here. Maybe the mystery of being a huge dork.
"Maybe she tried you for being a nerd or something!" Kate mumbled; pretending not to know that this was really the issue. She wanted to go out on many dates with the school nerd. Kate stood up slowly as Max gawked at her full physique and astonishing beauty. If noses could bleed... They would.
"That's it!" Max seemed so drama-free without a care in the world when she seemed pleased as pudding with herself and not at all worried about all the bullying that was wrong at Blackwell Academy. Literally, no one here knew how to bully!
Kate coughed her agreement and was about to walk away with no goodbye as Max's hand brushed her femur. It hovered over her butt... Then squeezed her hand. Nerdy perv!
"Wait a minute! Where are you... going...?" Just when she thought Max couldn't get anymore socially awkward, she phrases things in that airhead kinda way. Max seemed to play simon says with her soft plushy hand before gasping and letting go. Quotations take too long...
"I wanna get something to eat before I throw up!" Kate froze- heavily flustered about what she just vomitted out of her mouth. I swear, this tale gets way more sexy and dramatic!
"Aw okay, I'm not hungry!" Max blinks and looks down at the ground.
'I didn't ask!' Kate mentally 'tsks', sighs, and huffs as she leaves. What the f*** is her problem?!
Kiss her already! As Kate slams the door shut and Brooke is eyeing her curiously from across the hallway briefly before returning to her game, Max's muffled 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah what is wrong with yooooooou?!' can be heard through the door.
... She did really like the song.
The next day, Max isn't in class. Kate stares intently and bewilderedly at the empty desk. What the f***?
"Hey, I heard you were Victoria Chase!" Kate looked up at Mark Jefferson grinning like some stupid high school boy. Wasn't he 38...?
"Well, I couldn't help but lie Mr. Jefferson, it's Max!" Her eyes widened in the 'duh, that's obvious' sense. Jefferson made a blissful grunt of agreement and scratched his chin.
"I get it, she's a nerd, and I think Warren's bullying is influencing her~" He didn't seem like he minded the 'bullying'. What a tool! Kate doodled Max associated things in her notebook while the pointless conversation continued one-sidedly. Since when could Warren bully?
A paper hit the side of her head and she looked to her right at the two chuckling barbie dolls. Mark, ever the prick, pretending not to notice.
"Okay picture this: You are handcuffed, in a darkroom..." This infatuation with sex goes on and on. Everyone knows by now that Nathan/Warren/Mark Jefferson/Maybe David Madison are doing it... Besides, everyone already knows about the dark room. I guess in a way, it was spoiled for them. Nathan was definitely a masochist (he'd have the most in common with Max if he wasn't a whiny pinhead).
"Hey someone's on the roof!" Julia came there just to say that and then left. Like Kate would care... Hey, wait a minute!
"Max...?" Kate felt like someone clutched at her heart with a cruel cold hand. Victoria Chase...
Kate sprinted at of the classroom before anyone did anything. Apparently, no one was there, not even David Madisen. What a waste of security.
"Max, stop!" Kate shouted up and Max flung her camera to her side. She looked like she was freezing. Kate forgot her coat too... She was happy the roof doors were unlocked and David sucked at his job. For once... Max chuckled and gestured the camera up in the air.
"I thought I'd get a good view from up here, the vast trees really make me love it the most." She licked her lips and chewed on the bottom one. Kate looked at the trees.
There weren't even that many! She walked fast and hugged Max.
"Max, you scared me... I was scared when I saw you up here!" Kate whimpered and hugged her tightly. Max didn't hug back for a while, and that was kinda annoying.
"Okay... Can we start dating then?" Max hugged back just as the flustered Kate Marsh backed away. She covered half of her face with her long arms.
"...What?!"
