"There it is~" Max said in a hushed, self-indulging fashion as she lined up the shot of the model. Squirrel eating an apple riding a human's bike was giving her another chance, so why couldn't she be happy. Why?!
Kate didn't know about her lie… Which was a lie! She always knew who she was, but she had a feeling Kate would mess with her if she played dumb. Like all happy endings, there entire relation was based on a lie.
Sorry, she was still a lil' bit wounded from Chloe ditching her ass to go partying last time they set up the old park date… And hungry too.
"Hey Caulfield, catch~" Oh yeah, did I forget to mention the whole time they were at the park thing and that it was violently raining. The umbrella slapped Max in the face and broke her favorite camera. Her only camera…
"Chloe, not again!" Max fumbled to open the purplish umbrella as Chloe shrugged an apology. This was almost as bad as her not showing up last time…
"So, you and Kate are a thing?" Chloe peeked curious at Max's expression as the squirrel scurried on passed them; caught in the crossfires. Max nodded as she massaged a temple with one hand and held upon an umbrella at the same time.
"Yeah… But Chloe, I think I ruined it…" Max wasn't crying, it was just the cold rain slowly pouring off her face. "I lied." Chloe sighs.
"Max Caulfield, what are ya doing?!" Chloe feigned disappoint, or maybe genuine disappointment, just like when they were kids… Aw, the memories.
Max sat down on the park bench and then immediately got up because it was too wet and there was some left-over residue of snow that was being watched away by the rain.
"I messed with her, and she messed with me… But, she might think I'm actually bad with names. I let her think that I thought she was Victoria Chase and that I also thought Victoria Chase was Kate Marsh. I got beat up twice, but it was kind of funny." Max still hasn't taken a breath.
She exhales heavily and looks around for a comforting squirrel photo she could've taken. In the distance, someone gets hit in the back of the head with a football. Hilarious…
"… Kate kicked your ass Caulfield?" Chloe looked like she was regretting showing up this time.
"…No Victoria!" Max hesitated in admitting that it was Victoria for some reason.
"Well, go apologize and make out or some s*** be-atch, I don't really know!" Chloe turned to leave.
"Hey wait!" Max said and Chloe casually half-turned back. Max gave her a thumbs up with one hand whilst holding the umbrella open with the other.
"Thanks kid!" Her smile was really doofy. Chloe scuffed and left in a huff. Max turned to run to her true love.
….
She heard the beautiful violin music as she thrusted open the dorm room doors. Juliet was talking to Diana.
"Outta my way Julia, and Dana!" Max unnecessarily pushed Julia against the wall next to the entrance of Diana's.
"Hi Max!" Dana smiled kindly as Juliet glared at Max's passing back as she rushed to Kate's entrance. The door was shut, and she flung it open. The violin music stopped with a sharp high-pitched dramatic single note and Kate looked half-amused.
"Max…" She also looked fairly confused. I was too.
"Kate, I never once thought that your name was Victoria Chase, I was feigning stupidity to mess with you!" She was talking kind of loud.
"… I find that extremely hard to believe… You simply let Victoria beat you up twice because your nearly as masochistic as Nathan Prescott?" Kate laid the precious violin in its case and closed it. She was working on a song called 'Alice.'
"What no! What?" Max shook her head, furiously blushing. The air felt warm. "I talked to you several times, and you left such an impression on my heart!" She found her volume was throbbing and hard to turn down even if she tried- which she did not.
"…Nice, did you write that one down or something-
"I love you!" Max shouted to get her to stop talking. Kate hesitated before abruptly moving the violin case off the bed and onto the desk next to her bible.
"Get on the bed Caulfield!" Kate took out some handcuffs from her bag that was left in there from Mr. Jefferson 'Handcuff' experiment. Max had been handcuffed to a chair while everyone took photos.
So anyway…
Kate handcuffed her to the rails and their passionate love affair commenced. Max was thinking about how hot Kate was and how she almost liked Blackwell Academy now. Maybe she was a masochist…
She kissed Kate until her lips were chapped. The door was wide open, and Juliet and Dana watched in disbelief. No one noticed- they were too busy with making out.
Meanwhile, all the nerds in class conspired to go after Victoria Chase. Warren wanted to go too, but Nathan conspired for him to give him another blowjob. He was good at that~
It was all one big conspiracy theory, and Max never got a name wrong again. She still got picked on though.
