"The flow of the water is moving too fast," Spock said, staring down at it from a large rock.
"It's either we get captured again, or we jump into the water and see what happens," Jim replied, spotting something coming down the river. "Come with me."
Grabbing onto Spock's hand, Jim led them to a small platform and when the floating device passed, he reached out and grabbed it.
Knowing exactly what Jim was about to suggest, Spock raised an eyebrow but it was too late. Jim had pulled him onto the device and they quickly travelled down the river.
