Jim didn't look back, he continued onward and hoped that Spock would follow him. He was pissed, he tried his best to remedy the situation but he did nothing but make it worse. He could hear Spock trying to use logic but it was to no avail.
"Spock, there's no point," he called out, knowing Spock could hear him. "We're leaving."
Making it back to the shuttle, he only had to wait a few moments before Spock followed him in and closed the door to the shuttle.
"It's only logical we go back to Enterprise and run you a bath."
