"What the hell took you so long?"

Now that caught my attention. Brushing myself off I looked up. There stood InuYasha

clearly pissed at the fact that I stayed one hour longer than I had told everyone.

"Well?"

"Oh... Um... Nothing."

"Hmph, just hurry up we are wasting time!" His ears folded down onto his head that's my

sign to tell me that he is pissed. I rolled my eyes.

"Then let's go." I smiled putting my arm around his and lead him towards Kaedes

village. I wish I knew what he was so mad at. As we entered the small village I could sense Inu

Yasha growing impatient as he pulled his arm away from me. Finally reaching Kaedes hut we

entered inside, well at least I thought InuYasha had come in with me.

"Kagome child welcome back. How was ye' visit home?"

"It was nice, thank you Kaede."

"Kagome your back!" Turning my head I looked at Shippo as I sat down. He's so cute I

have to give him a hug. Shippo hopped out of my embrace landing my the fire located in the

middle of the room.

I watched Kaede sip her drink while I asked, "Where is Songo, Kirara and Miroku?"

"Songo and Kirara are talking with Jinshen and Miroku is womanizing as Songo says."

Hmm, why are men so stupid? Can't Miroku see that Songo loves him, Yet, he flirts with every

female he sees.

InuYasha came into the hut looking at me, "Come on were leaving now."

I sighed, again we leave same thing every day nothing new. On my way out I picked up Shippo

cradling him in my arms.

"Goodbye Kaede."

The bright glow from the sun almost blinded me as I walked out of the hut.

"Kagome are you listening?"

I peered down at Shippo. "Yes, I was listening Shippo."

"Hello Kagome." I smiled looking up at Songo.

"Hey Songo."

"Well what are you just standing around for? Hurry up!"

Our day went as everyday, no jewel shards but three demons. Laying back my head I slowly

drifted off staring at the clear night sky as my eyes closed.

The smell of smoke filled the air. I slowly opened my eyes, smoke was all that I could see. Where

am I? Wait.. what was that?

"Who. . . who's there? Where am I?"

"Kagome."

Hearing my name I spun around on the spot. I can't see a thing!

"Who are you? Where am I?" I yelled out fear lapsing my voice.

"We are in your mind, a form of dream."

"Who are you?"

I almost stopped breathing as Naraku's image appeared before me.

"What do you want?"

"I came to tell you something. It has taken me some time to figure it out. Now it's time

you knew. You are a Youkai from this time, Your father is lord of the north a youkai also. Your

power was so great others feared you power and sent to kill you. Your father took the sacred

jewel and made you swallow it hoping one day you would return using the power from the jewel.

See your mother, brother and grandfather went through the well also, spells allow all of you to

appear human only your father can undo the spells now-"

I stopped him there cutting him off. "Wait your saying I'm a Youkai? No thats impossible! Why

would you tell me any ways Your up to something! Leave now and stop with your lies!"

Naraku's image faded his last words rang out, "Believe what you choose."
