Ezra and I were deep into figuring out how to put together the missing posters before I realized how late it had gotten. Only realizing how dark it had gotten outside when Jonathan made his first appearance all day by walking in through the front door. Joyce looks at her eldest son and asks if he had gotten anywhere, only to be shot down by the shake of his head. I got lost in looking at the pictures of Will. "I'm sorry." I heard Jonathan say. Not saying a word, I got up from my spot on the couch and moved to where he and Joyce were on the floor. Sitting beside him I wrapped my arms around him to show that he had all the support from me and Ezra. "This wasn't your fault, baby, you hear me. You hear me? He's gonna come home soon. I know it. I know it... because I can feel him in my heart." I heard Joyce reassure Jonathan. 'I can't imagine what he's going through.' I thought and looked to my own brother. Sure, the two of us were practically inseparable, but if anything happened to him, I would be devastated. I started to rub Jonathan's back to help comfort him. Everyone was pulled out of their thoughts by the kitchen phone ringing. I followed Joyce to where the phone was in hopes that it was someone who had any news about Will's whereabouts. "Yes... hel-hello? Lonnie? Hopper? Who is this? Answer me! Will?! Where are you, baby?!" My ears perked up and my brows furrowed in confusion. I had hoped it wasn't some prank by one of the local bullies. "Who is this?! What have you done with my baby?!" I noticed she had started to lightly cry. Joyce gasps and suddenly the phone is on the floor and her hand is burnt. I went down the hallway to gather the medkit so I can help with Joyce's hand. "Who is this?!" I hear Jonathan yell into the phone trying to get answers but then the phone is back on the receiver. I made it back with the kit and start to help patch up Joyce's hand as best I could. "Listen, we're gonna find him, okay? Ezra and I won't give up on you two or give up on Will. He's a smart kid and I'm sure he's doing everything he can to try and stay safe. Don't worry." I tell the grieving woman in a soft voice. She had finally calmed down when out from the night, comes a low growling noise. "What the hell was that?" Ezra says in a low voice. "That just made my bad feeling about this whole situation worse," I respond quietly.

Ezra had finally coaxed Joyce into getting some rest while the three of us stayed up for a little while longer, cleaning up the place a bit. "Hey Jonathan, do you need help tomorrow putting up the posters?" I asked as I was elbow deep in soapy water, washing dishes. "Yeah, that'd be great. Thanks." There was a comfortable pause in between his thoughts. "Listen, I really appreciate the two of you staying and helping with this. It's been hard on my mother and I and knowing I have you and Ezra really takes some of this weight off my shoulders." I put down the dish I was currently finishing up and wiped my hands, walking over to him. I smile at him gently. "We're just glad we can be of some help. No one should have to go through this alone. I don't know what I would do if my idiot other half went missing. I care for Will just like I would if he were my own brother. Besides, I know you would do the same for us." I finish speaking and sit down at the kitchen table with him, a comfortable silence taking over. I study his face for a moment, taking in his features. Him and I had been friends since elementary school, but as I both grew up, I never noticed how handsome he was. I stared at him a little while longer before getting up and walking to the living room, where Ezra was passed out. I looked at him and sighed. Grabbing some spare blankets from the hallway closet, I covered up my idiot brother and started to make myself a little bed on the floor. I saw Jonathan staring at me from the corner of my eye. "It's rude to stare, you know?" I looked over as he stammered out a response, smiling a little bit. "Oh, um I'm sorry. I was just-" "Just watching me make my makeshift bed?" I interrupted him. "Now, I'm going to bed. You should do the same seeing as how the both of us have very important things to do tomorrow." Jonathan's face flushed a little bit and he nodded. "Yeah, alright. Goodnight, I'll wake you up about an hour early so you can get ready." Nodding I replied, "Okay. Thank you again for letting us stay and help. Goodnight, Jonathan." With those parting words, he walked to his bedroom. I climbed into the mound of blankets I gathered and stared at the ceiling for a good few minutes before closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.

I must have been dreaming because when I looked around, I realized I was not in Hawkins anymore. Deciding to investigate, I walked down the street I had found myself on. I didn't know where I was going, nor did I know what city I was in, but it didn't matter much. Suddenly, I saw a group of kids on bikes, reminding me of my "own". One of them even looked familiar to me, but my kid didn't wear glasses. I tried to yell out to them, to ask where in the hell I was, but nothing came out of my throat. 'Oh well. I guess I just need to follow them. I hope I can keep up with them.' I started running after them, hoping they didn't get too far. I couldn't see them anymore, so I jogged to a stop and rested my hands on my knees, trying to catch my breath. "Are you okay?" I heard from behind you. "Yes, I am. Thank you for aski-" I screamed in the middle of my sentence when I turned around. I was face to face with the scariest fucking clown I had ever seen. Blood was splattered all over its dirty grey costume. It was drooling all over the place, mouth in a wide smile, showing the sharp points that were its teeth. Walking backward to create some distance, I tripped over a rock and fell onto the ground, scraping the palms of my hands as I tried to catch myself. I looked back at the clown, only for him to pounce like a predator with its prey. Before he had managed to get me, I was being shaken awake by Ezra.

I gasped and shot up, accidentally hitting my brother with your head. "Oh god, how mom gave birth to you is a mystery to me because you have the hardest fucking head. You're lucky you didn't wake up Joyce. Why were you screaming anyways?" I stopped rubbing my head and looked at my twin. "Oh, I have a hard head?! You can practically break a hole in a concrete wall with how big yours is, bitch. Wait a minute, I was screaming?" "Hmm? Oh, yeah you were screaming. I'm just glad that it wasn't too loud to wake up everyone else in the house. It was really fucking annoying." I glared at him and stuck my middle finger up. "Fuck off. I was just having a nightmare. It was this really scary goddamn clown and I think he was tryi-" I was interrupted by Ezra telling me to shut up and go back to sleep. I just glared at him again and got up to get a glass of water, hoping it would calm me down enough to go back to sleep. I had gulped down the water and refilled it a second time so I would have it when I woke up in a few hours. Still feeling a bit on edge, I walked to the bathroom, hoping cold water on my face would help bring me back down to Earth. I opened the door to the bathroom only to find Jonathan already in there. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry I didn't realize you were in here." I turned away and shut the door when I caught a glimpse of his figure. My sudden appearance had startled him, and he rushed to cover himself. Hearing the water run from the sink, I started to walk away, going to sit down in the kitchen so I could calm myself. Distracted by my thoughts, I didn't notice Jonathan walk in until he gingerly touched my shoulder. Startled and almost falling out of my seat, I looked up at him and my face immediately turned red.
