As Bloom and the others fought with the creatures, Valk was hovering over the city watching.

"So, that's where you're hiding," said Valk while looking down at Bloom who was fighting off some of the warriors. As he looked at the red head, he noticed a bright gold and red aura around her.

"Let's see how much stronger you have become," he said before dropping down at the red-haired fairy.

"Just how many of these things are there?" asked Bloom after blasting two of the warriors out of the air, causing them to shatter when they landed on the road below.

"Bloom, behind you!" said Musa after blasting one of the creatures in time to see Valk heading for her friend, but she was unable to react in time to help Bloom as more of the warriors swarmed her.

"What?" asked Bloom as she went to turn, but found her face being grabbed by a stone hand. As Valk's hand covered Bloom's face, he sunk his razor-sharp claws into the skin around it.

"My master requires more energy, and what better energy to give him than that of what helped seal him away all those millennia ago," said Valk as an orange light left Bloom and traveled into his arm.

"Let her go!" said Stella who had managed to get away from a warrior and was flying toward him.

"You can have her!" said Valk while throwing an unconscious Bloom at the blonde. As Bloom had lost consciousness, she had also de-transformed.

"I've already got enough power for my master, so we'll be taking our leave," he said before flying away with the army behind him.

"How's Bloom?" asked Sky once Stella returned to the street.

"She's unconscious, I don't know how much of her energy that thing stole," said Stella as she carried Bloom in her arms.

"There's also some bad puncture wounds from his claws," she said while using magic to heal where Valk's claws had dug into Bloom.

"I believe that thing was a Xolo statue that was given a more human form," said Tecna.

"Let's worry about that later, right now we have to worry about Bloom," said Sky as he took Bloom from Stella and headed back into the store.
