Once everyone had landed and left the ship, they discovered the enemy army waiting for them in the large open area that surrounded the pyramids.
"We really have to go through all of them?" asked Musa.
"Doesn't look like we have another choice," said Brandon as he noticed the army heading to them as they had already picked up on him. The Winx and the Specialists then ran into battle with them.
"Whoa, have these things gotten weaker or is it me?" asked Stella as she blasted one of the warriors which instantly turned to dust.
"No, something is definitely up," said Aisha as she too took a few of the warriors down with ease. Bloom then destroyed three of the creatures before noticing Valk waiting at the top of the pyramid.
"I'm going on ahead!" said Bloom before flying toward the pyramid as Valk went inside.
"Bloom, wait!" said Sky who went to follow her but found himself overwhelmed by the warriors that had gathered around.
"We have a problem," said Techna while watching as the destroyed warriors reformed right before all of them.
"They wanted us to think they were weak, but why?" asked Helia while blocking an attack from one of the soldiers.
"Because they're after Bloom again," said Sky with a look of horrified realization. Inside the pyramid, Bloom found a secret staircase that was left open on the floor.
"Alright, time to end this," said Bloom before she started her descent.
"I can't believe you would come down here by yourself," said The Dark One's voice as the slab shut behind her, but Bloom didn't turn back and instead kept going down the stairs.
"The others don't need to see what is about to happen," said Bloom as she reached the bottom where the sarcophagus was. However, Bloom found no one else to be in the room but her.
"I'm afraid that there's no way your plan will work," said The Dark One as the sarcophagus began to open, allowing a dark red aura to pour out and create a mist of the same color over the floor.
