As Stella and the others were fighting with Valk on the surface, things were going sideways for Bloom in the underground area.
"Hahaha, this is so funny," said The Dark One while standing amongst the rubble caused by the fight.
"Even with my brother's power you are no match for me," he said while walking toward Bloom who was laying on the ground. Most of the scales that had appeared on her body were missing by this point and her hair was a mess with several frayed strands and some even ripped out.
"I'm not going to give up, not when I've already put so much on the line," said Bloom while forcing her body to stand even though her whole body was trembling.
"And what are you going to do when you have already used your ace?" asked The Dark One with a confidant grin.
"There's nothing you can do!" he said before he began to laugh. However, his laughter soon stopped when Bloom began to laugh along with him.
"What's so funny?!" asked The Dark One with a furious expression.
"Just the fact that wasn't my ace," said Bloom with a smile before her body ignited into blue flames.
"It can't be, that's the spell my brother used to split my soul and body!" said The Dark One as he took a step back out of fear.
"He didn't manage to hit you with the full thing back then, because this spell is meant to burn every last trace of you," said Bloom before she suddenly appeared behind him.
"But this time I'll make sure it does," she said while grabbing hold of The Dark One, causing the flames to engulf him too.
"You realize what this spell will do to you, right?!" said The Dark One as he struggled to get free as the flames were sapping his strength away along with dealing damage to his body.
"Nothing will be left of you or him if you use it, the balance will be permanently destroyed and so won't be all of the magic this reality has!" he said.
"The Dragon's Flame thought of that, and there's a failsafe to protect magic when he dies," said Bloom while the light of the flames grew stronger.
"And I've been prepared for this since the fight began," she said before the whole room was enveloped by the light.
