A few days later, Sky was in his room back at his family's castle looking at Bloom's ring while sitting on the side of his bed.
"You turned away another meal?" asked Samara as she entered the room.
"I'm not hungry," said Sky without looking away from the ring. Other than one small crack in the curtains of the windows the room was completely dark, the light aiming right for the young blonde man.
"I get that you're sad, Sky, but you can't just starve yourself," said Samara while walking toward him.
"What should I do mother," asked Sky as he finally looked up at her, his eyes fully red as he had been crying for so long.
"Bloom made up her mind to face The Dark One alone and even to sacrifice herself without telling me anything, and now I can't see her ever again," he said as he began to cry again.
"Oh sweetheart," said Samara as she sat down next to him as she started crying too.
"I'm going to miss her too, but I'm sure Bloom didn't tell you anything because she knew what you would do," she said while holding Sky in her arms.
"You would have done anything to stop her or even tried to be there when she used the power and then you too would have been taken from everyone," said Samara.
"Or even worse, everyone would have lost as The Dark One would still be alive and had restarted The Dark Ages," she said.
"I understand that, but it still doesn't hurt any less," said Sky. One of his tears then rolled down his cheek and landed on Bloom's ring.
"What the?" asked Sky once he noticed a small light coming from Bloom's ring which flew away while the light began to grow brighter.
"By the stars," said Samara as she and her son watched as Bloom appeared before them.
"What… what am I doing here?" asked a shocked Bloom while staring at her hands with a shocked expression.
"Is… is it really you, Bloom?" asked Sky while standing from his bed and looked at her with a similarly shocked expression.
"It's her alright," came a voice from behind the red head.
"But somehow I'm here too," said the voice which belonged to a red and gold baby dragon at Bloom's feet.
