Living Room and Kitchen
The Rest of the Mercenaries stayed in the second biggest Room of the RED Base. The Living Room was the biggest part of the Room with two Dining-Tables, two Couches, four Armchairs, one Fireplace and an old dusty Flat screen TV sitting on a wooden Cupboard in front of a small wooden Table. Sitting on one of the Couches is Scout. The youngest of the Mercenaries, coming form Boston and was mostly know for playing Pranks on his other Teammates and for being a Big Mouth in general.
Next to the Scout on the other Couch was Heavy the biggest Team Member who was mostly known to be Bad-Ass and for being a Lover for Sandvich and Naming everyone except him Baby or Little Men. But now the Russian lays on the bigger Couch looking at Scout and in the Kitchen Area. In said Area were Sniper and Demoman. ,,Alright come on which one should I choose?" through Scout to himself as he looked down to two VHS Tapes in front of him. A big Pile was standing in the middle of the wooden Table. The Table itself looks worn out, with a few Scratches, bullet holes and burn marks all around it. But it didn't bother the young Mercenary as he finally found a Movie he wanted to watch.
Watching a Movie with the Team itself was hard for many Reasons like: Not being Logic or how anyone could do it better and many more. And if Scout was choosing a Movie it always ending with someone or himself in Medic's Office so of course Scout was happy to see his favorite Movie. Meanwhile Sniper stands in front of the old Coffee Machine waiting for the Coffee Pot to be full. The Machine slowly prepares the Coffee with a little cloud of smoke coming out of it. ,,It's totally normal after all Engi repairs it many times before so there was nothing to worry about", through Sniper as the pot was half full. ,,Aye come here me lad" said the Demoman not far away from Sniper as the Aussi looked to the left. The Fridge was bigger than the one Medic has in his Operation Room.
Inside the Fridge was filled with different Types of Food from Vegetables to Meat to Sweets was everything there even Pills. But it is a double Door Refrigerator with a Freezer in the lower Area. The other Side Demoman just opens was less filled. Inside this side are all the Food and Drinks only for the individual Team members themselves. Logos and the Names marked the Area for the Mercenaries them self. So no one could grab or eat and drink something from someone else. Closing the Door Demoman holds a open Bottle of one of his favorite Drinks. ,,Aye, me bottle o' scrumpy" said the Scot as he begins to drink out of it.
Sniper shrugged and heard a loud noise coming from the Coffee Machine as he turned around to see the Coffee was finished. With a small Smile on his Face he grabbed the Pot from the Machine and put it next to the Machine. As the Sniper Removes the Coffee Filter out of the Machine he heard the sound of Disgust and spiting out Liquid. ,, Bloody hell what is that Piece o' Crap?" yelled the Scot as he smelled on the Bottle. Sniper looked at the small Kitchen isle. A dark red Liquid was all around the Isle. From the smell of it it was Red wine a very expensive one and only Spy drank. Before any of the Two Mercenaries could find out who swapped Demo's Beer with Spy's Wine a chuckle could be heard from the Living Room as both Sniper and Demo looked up to see Scout holding his Mouth with both of his Hand shut to not burst out in Laughter. ,,Oh lads I don't have time for that" said Demo as he goes to the Fridge again to pick up another Bottle that was closed this time and moved over to the Living Room with a Bowl of Popcorn that stood on the Kitchen Counter. Sniper was not amused about cleaning up the Mess Demo left on the Isle as he grunted. ,,Bloody bogan" whispers the Sniper as he grabbed the now dark red washcloth and clean it up in the Kitchensink. Unkown to him and the others Spy entered the Room with his Wine Bottle as he looked around to see Sniper struggling at the Kitchen Sink.
,,I zee we have some problemz with cleaning zhe Washcloth" said Spy watching over Sniper's Shoulder. ,, Dont'cha scaring me ye our.." ,, Or vhat? will you stab me vith a Butter knife?" said Spy with a smug on his Face as he grabbed a small bottle of Lemon-juice. ,,I think zhis will help you with the Red Wine" Sniper looked at the Bottle and was confused ,, How the bloody hell will that help me ya backstabing..." ,,Just use it" said Spy annoyed. The Australian shrugged as he opens the Bottle and put in the Sink.
,,Why are ya here in general, looking for someone to annoy or what?" asked Sniper still cleaning the Washcloth with a little bit of Success. The French was still holding his Wine Bottle as he wanted to speak but Sniper cut him short. ,,Ah I see you want to know where yer expensive Wine is dont'cha?" ,,Indeed and I would be glad to know who swapped it so" said Spy as he gives Sniper a suspicious Look as if he was saying it was Snipers fault. But the Australian didn't liked that as he gave Spy a Grumpy Face and crossed arms. ,,If yer want to punish someone talk with the little Gremlin himself because I'm not staying here to clean up this Mess" said the Australian as he grabbed the full Pot of Coffee and left the Room. Spy looked into the Sink and was surprised to see how clean it was and how the Washcloth was white again.
Rooftop – Sniper's Hideout
Following the last Set of Stairs outside of the Living Room Sniper was Outside and on the Rooftop of the Base or how he called it his Hideout since no one of his Team Mates was ever here and he could do what ever he wants to do without getting yelled or whatever. In front of him a few meters away from the Entry Door he used to get on the Rooftop stood a small tent. The Outside of the Tent had a Sniper's Symbol on the right and left Side of it with a red Stripe in the middle of it. A few bullet holes are on both Sides of the Tent but it didn't bother Sniper that much he was glad to be inside of the Tent away from the cold as it was snowing outside.
Inside the Tent Sniper soon grabbed his Chronomancer a Jacket with dark red colored padded shoulders, rolled-up sleeves and square buttons. He puts on the Jacket and sits down on a grey blanket next to his Sniper Rifle named Machina. It is a futuristic looking sniper rifle with a fluted barrel and a soft grip. Behind Sniper is a small Map of the Battle Field Mountain Lab attached to the Tent. On the Floor around the Tent are different Kinds of Bottles. A Red Thermos bottle with a Reliable Excavation Demolition and 1 # Sniper Logo around it next to a Milk Packaging and six glass mason jar.
Three of the Jars are already filled with a yellow liquid. The Australian grabbed the Coffee Pot as he opens the empty Thermos bottle to fill it with Coffee and Milk before he started his Mission. With the Thermos Bottle, Machina and two empty Jars Sniper went outside his tent to a platform. From there could the Australian get a good View from the Battlefield, the Training Grounds next to the RED Base, the Town near the Battlefield and the BLU Base. Before he looked through the Scope a blue Laser dazzle Sniper as he moved away from the Laser. Looking through the Scope the Australian found out who dazzle him. It was the BLU Sniper wearing a Snow Scoper. A jacket with blu-colored winter coat with grey shoulder pads and black Sniper icons on the shoulder areas.
The Sniper rifle he used was the Bazaar Bargain the on he used on the Battlefield before the Blackout. Knowing that the Re spawn didn't worked around the Base and with the Door leading to the Spawnroom makes Sniper nervous as the BLU Sniper still pointed at him. Before anything could happen the BLU Laser was turned off giving Sniper a sign of relief as he looked through the Scope to see the BLU Sniper waving at him. Sniper did the same before.
2 Hour's later
With the empty Thermos Bottle and one and a half filled Jars the Sniper returned to the tent to put down the both Jars and the Rifle on the Blanket as he closed the tent leaving the Rooftop.
Parking lot
10 Minutes later Sniper was on the Parking lot. The Parking lot was not so big with only Sniper's Camper a 1965 Land Rover Series I Camper, Engi's Truck with many boxes on the back, Medic's Ambulance and one red Double Decker Bus. Heading to his Camper Sniper let out a loud yawn with sleepy Eyes and Bags running down his Face. Grabbing the Car Keys out of his Pockets in one of the Jackets as he opens the Door at the back of his Camper.
As he enters the Camper the a fluttering Sound can be heard. Surprised about it Sniper looks around when he sees a familiar face. It is Sir Hootsalot Sniper's Pet Owl. ,,Missed me Mate" said Sniper while placing the owl's feet on his right hand and lightly stroking its head with his fingers with his left hand.
The Owl tilts his head slightly while Sniper puts it in its cage with a few Worms as a treat before he closed it. The Interior of Sniper's Van is quite small with fordable furniture. A small kitchen with two stove tops that look a bit worn and slightly rusty is on the left side with two cabinets each above and below.
A small fridge stood next to the cabinets with a few Magnets attached to it. On the Right side of the Van is a folding table attached to the wall with metal rails. On the table are two glasses filled with yellow liquid. Next to the table is a chair that is already folded up with the other is leaning against the wall.
Letting out another yawn Sniper takes off his vest, Jacket and shoes as he makes his way to the bed. The bed is at the end of the room opposite the back door. It is a kind of bunk bed. Sniper sleeps in the upper bed with several pictures, family photos and posters from Sniper's home.
One photo shows a younger Sniper standing in front of a van with his father next to him. Another photo shows Sniper with two other people next to him grimacing. The posters show advertisements of Jarete pills, various Sniper Rifles and others. Looking at Photos Sniper smiled as he lies down.
In a hidden drawer Sniper puts his Hat and Sunglasses before he covers up and falls asleep. The whole base was quiet in every room was silence only the sound of Medic's pigeons which soft cooing is heard. Almost all mercenaries were asleep with the exception of spy. The French Assassin was also in the parking lot while lighting a cigarette and looking at the snowy night sky.
Relaxed, Spy let a cloud of smoke out of his mouth as suddenly a shrill scream disturbed the peace. The merc looked around in wonder where the scream came from. When he looked at the wire fence that separated the parking lot from the training ground, he noticed a shadow approaching. For this reason, Spy hid behind a dumpster while using his watch to make himself invisible so as not to be seen.
The shadow comes closer and closer and shows a human creature, which confuses Spy. ,,Since when are civilians allowed to walk around here?" Spy wondered.
But before he can think about it further, the creature slowly emerges from the shadows. the creature seemed somewhat human but also not. The face was very split. One side looked quite normal, another was catastrophic. The right eye flowed from the face down to the mouth, the mouth on the left side was distributed with shark-like teeth over the entire face in different sizes.
The body is scattered with various large bumps and spines. The spikes look like bones after a close look which astonishes Spy but that was not the only reason. The creature's arms and legs were thicker than a normal human's which is why they looked like elephant legs only the hands and feet resembled lion paws. The creature's skin shimmered a reddish black and seemed to belch a foul odor. Spy held his nose as he caught the scent. As he continues to watch the creature, Spy notices that it is crying. Surprised, he quickly realizes that despite its appearance, it has feelings.
After the creature was several feet from the fence, Spy made his way to Sniper's camper and knocked on the back door. ,,Come on Bushman open up!" yelled Spy still knocking at the Door Out of the sudden the Door opens with a sleepy Sniper rubbing his Eyes. ,,What *yawn* is wrong ya filthy spook? Need a new Suit or why yer knocking at my Door this late?" asked Sniper.
Before he can get an answer Spy steps inside giving Sniper a confused look. Sir Hootsalot looked at Spy and Sniper giving Spy an grumpy Face. The Australian opens the Fridge as he grabs a Beer Bottle with a Kangaroo on it . Spy grabbed the unfolded Chair as he fold it and sits on it waiting for Sniper to sit down.
,,Alright fancy pants what is the trouble?" Spy looked at Sniper with a confused Face ,,How do you.." ,,You only look scared if a Enemy Heavy found you so what's the matter?" Spy looks thoughtfully before he can say anything. With a deep breath Spy opened his mouth ,,The reason vhy ve were sent back to base I just found out" Sniper stopped drinking from the Bottle ,,I found something but you need to see with your own Eyes" said Spy as he grabbed Snipers Arm . Both Mercs went outside to the same position where Spy saw the creature.
It doesn't take long before the same creature can be seen a little further away. Sniper was quite stunned and shocked at the same time. ,,Alright ya spook I knew what ya mean with that" Spy smiled a little bit ,,The others must also know about it" said Sniper as he heads to the Entrance with Spy following him. ,,I'll inform the Doc and Googly Eyes you informs the others" said Sniper walking up the Stairs leading to Medic's Office and Engi's Workshop. Spy followed him walking up another set of stairs.
Medic's Office
Woken up from knocking at the door Sniper was greeted by the sleepy German. His doves were spread all over his shoulder and head which look at Sniper with cooing sound and crooked head. ,,Was ist los ? Can't you zee i'ts spät" asked the slightly sleepy Doctor while trying not to fall asleep. ,,Sorry to wake yer up Doc but can you wait here while I wake up Engi.." before he can finish his sentence Medic pushes Sniper aside ,, I wake him up you go in my Office and wait" said Medic walking to Engi's Workshop.
Meanwhile Heavy is in the same hallway where Sniper, Medic and Engi are and walked past the workshop. Confused to see Medic and Engi talking about something Heavy notice one of Medic's Doves landing on his left Shoulder. ,,Ahh Archimedes come back here mate" yelled Sniper running outside Medic's Office. ,,Vhat are you doing in Doctor's Office?" asked the Russian. Sniper looked up to Heavy ,,You want the Short or the Long Story ?" asked Sniper.
The Russian folds his sleeves while following the Sniper in the Doctor's Office.
