Unfinished business
Set after episode nine
With Rina still in hospital and the threat still against everyone lives ongoing, all the FBI team can do is get on with their jobs since the shooter has been caught and the shooting devices have all been destroyed, but the man who ordered the hit on Isobel and her team is still gunning for her.
In her spare time during work Isobel decides to go to the hospital to see how her boss is doing even though they haven't got on since Rina took the job, as she walked through the corridors of the hospital he phone buzzed in her pocket, she pulls out the device and reads a text message from Ethan her current boyfriend that no one knows are still seeing each other, ever since the senator fiasco he left her for a few weeks but for Ethan he realized that he has fallen in love with Isobel, the two decided to keep their relationship secret until a few days ago when she realized that Antonio Vargas wanted to kill her and her team, so she texted him and told him to be careful, he text back just know making sure she is okay to.
She texts back she is okay and she is going to see a friend at the hospital, but what she isn't telling Ethan or her colleagues at the FBI is that she has a secret and she doesn't want people knowing until she is certain of her worries especially know with Antonio Vargas out to kill her.
She walks to the room where Rina is she looks through the window and sees Jubal sitting beside his girlfriend's bed, she stays for a few minutes and then she walks off hoping no one sees her, she walks to the maternity ward, she walks in and does what she needs to do, and then Isobel re appears about half an hour later, she walks back to the room where Rina is so that people won't get suspicious of what she is doing in the hospital, but what she doesn't know is that Hobbs the agent assigned to keep the JOC updated on Rina condition went for a walk and he seen his boss enter the maternity ward, she stands outside the room looking in, Jubal looks up to see his boss outside, he gets up and exits his girlfriend's hospital room.
"Isobel what are you doing here" asks Jubal?
"Oh, I was running an errand and I thought I might pop by and see how Rina is doing" explains Isobel.
"Oh, right well since the other day there still has been no change in her condition" answers Jubal.
"Good well you know we are all here for you if you need us" says Isobel.
"Hey so how is your family doing with the new threat" asks Jubal?
"Err they are fine they are all out of the country and safe" answers Isobel.
"Good well least your single and don't have to worry about protecting a boyfriend" says Jubal making a joke.
Isobel face drops when she hears the joke, Jubal sees her face then he realizes that his boss has a secret man in her life.
"Oh, wait is you seeing someone" asks Jubal?
"Yes, and he knows about the threat and he messaged me already that he is safe and at the moment he is also out of the area on business" explains Isobel.
"Oh, good least he is safe maybe he should come back and protect you" says Jubal.
"No, he has a job of protecting his boss he shouldn't have to protect me from a mobster" explains Isobel.
Jubal figured out who Isobel mystery man is.
"So, you and Ethan are back together" asks Jubal?
"Err yeah how did you guess" asks Isobel?
"Your face and you mentioned him protecting his boss so I guessed that you two made up and are back together" answers Jubal.
"Yeah, we are and we are happy and we are now being honest with one another, he knows about Vargas, he told me to stay safe" answers Isobel.
"So, are you staying for a bit" asks Jubal?
"No, I did my errand know I have to go back to work" answers Isobel.
Isobel walks off leaving Jubal alone, as Isobel walks off Hobbs walks up to Jubal, he decides to voice his concerns about their boss.
"Hey Jubal how is Isobel with all the Vargas situation" asks Hobbs?
"She is fine she was here checking on Rina and running and errand why what's up" asks Jubal?
"Oh, nothing just seen her in the hospital and just wondering" answers Hobbs.
"Wait you seen her in the hospital where" asks Jubal?
"Well, she is our boss and I don't think she would want me broadcasting her personal business to other people, but after what I seen today it makes me concerned about her and the Vargas case" explains Hobbs.
"Okay Hobbs as your boss you need to tell me what you seen today so I can protect Isobel, if she needs it, and I promise I won't tell anyone so you can confide in me" explains Jubal.
"Fine I seen her go to the maternity unit, I didn't say anything to her encase it's not any of my business" answers Hobbs.
"Okay thanks and leave it to me, know Rina's stable and I can't do anything here so I might go back to the office and see how the new case is going and the Vargas threat, keep me updated" says Jubal.
"Sure thing" answers Hobbs.
Jubal walks off and heads back to work leaving Rina to rest.

Jubal rushes back to work, he gets himself up to speed on the case then he asks one of the agents where is Isobel right now, they reply and tell him that she is in her office catching up on paperwork, he rushes to her office to have a confrontation about her supposed secret, he gets to the door he sees her working he walks in and closes the door, she looks up.
"Jubal why aren't you at the hospital" asks Isobel?
"Well, I realized that she is still sedated and all I do is look at a comatose person all the time, I thought I could do something here" explains Jubal.
"Okay well speak to OA and Maggie where they are up to" says Isobel.
"I did but before I continue working, I need to speak to you and it's a personal matter" explains Jubal.
"Okay what's the problem" asks Isobel?
"Well, I should probably start by asking you how you are doing at the moment" answers Jubal.
"Am fine what are you getting at" asks Isobel?
"Well, this Vargas case its personal for you, and I didn't realise that if Vargas gets a knew hitman, he will come for you because you out of all of us has something precious to lose like he did" explains Jubal.
Isobel realises that Jubal know something.
"How do you now" asks Isobel?
"First answer my question" says Jubal.
"And what's the question" asks Isobel?
"Are you pregnant yes or no" says Jubal straight to the point.
"Yes, I am, and how did you know" asks Isobel?
"You were seen in the hospital the person who seen you was concerned and they voiced their concerns to me" answers Jubal.
"Great who else knows" asks Isobel?
"Just me and the person who seen you and they will keep your secret, when did you find out" asks Jubal?
"Today, its Ethan and he know I had an appointment today but he doesn't know the exact result yet, but I don't want people knowing then Vargas will target me personally" answers Isobel.
"congratulations and they wont but from know on you are honest with me , and you need a protection detail for a little while" says Jubal
"I'm fine I don't need protection, and if I get protection from Vargas people will know my issue and I don't want people knowing just yet" explains Isobel.
" I know but you have a lot more to lose than any of us, if Vargas finds out he will kill you and your unborn child" says Jubal.
" fine but I am not having any random agent it will be someone who I choose" answers Isobel.
" okay who" asks Jubal?
" Maggie bring her in" answers Isobel.
" Okay I will get her and before I get her I think you should consider going home to rest since the stress of the Vargas case is not good for you" says Jubal.
"Fine I will since I am not feeling good" answers Isobel.
" okay I will get Maggie you stay put but get your bags ready to take home" explains Jubal.
Jubal walks off leaving Isobel alone in her office, after he left Isobel put her head in her hand trying to alleviate the pain growing in to a headache, she stayed like that while Jubal was out of the room.
Jubal walks into the Joc he sees Maggie and asks her to follow him, she does as he asks, she follows her boss to their big boss's office.
Isobel office
The two agents stood at the door looking at Isobel with her head cradled in her hand.
" Isobel I have Maggie here" shouts Jubal getting her attention .
Isobel lifts her head up to see her agent waiting to know her assignment, Jubal walks into the office with Maggie following behind him, once they are both in the office Jubal closes the door behind them.
Jubal looks to Isobel and realises that he was right in sending his boss home.
"So, here is Maggie but I didn't tell her the assignment, I thought you could tell her if you are up to telling her" Explains Jubal.
"Okay I will, Maggie I need a protection detail from now on until we stop Vargas, and I chose you if you are okay with it" asks Isobel?
"Yeah, I can do that" answers Maggie.
"Good know I am advising Isobel to go home so she needs to be taken home, so you can start protecting her from now" explains Jubal.
"Okay let's go we can take my car" says Maggie.
"Right let's go Jubal call me and keep me updated on Rina I will be back in work tomorrow, if you need me don't hesitate to call me" says Isobel getting out of her seat and grabbing her bag and leaves the office with Maggie walking behind her.
Jubal walks back to the Joc know that he knows his boss is going home sick and with a body guard.

Isobel and Maggie walk to the car park of 26 fed, they walk to Isobel issued car, they get in and soon Maggie is driving them to Isobel apartment, soon they arrive at the building they exit the car and Isobel guides Maggie to her apartment, once at the apartment Isobel opens the door and lets herself and Maggie in, Isobel steps aside whilst Maggie checks the apartment out making sure no one is hidden in the closets,
"it's all clear you can come in know" says Maggie.
Isobel walks in to the apartment and closes the door behind her, she puts her keys on the table near the door, she walks to her bedroom and puts her work stuff into her room, Isobel walks out of the room and Maggie starts wondering why her boss know needs protection.
"So, Isobel how you doing "asks Maggie?
"I'm good you know you can help yourself to tea and coffee in the kitchen, if you don't mind, I am going to get comfortable on the couch" explains Isobel who is starting to feel the ill effects of pregnancy set in, especially the nausea and tiredness.
"Great would you like something" offers Maggie.
"No, I am fine for now" answers Isobel.
"Sorry for prying but is there anything I need to know while protecting you" asks Maggie?
"Err yeah my boyfriend lives here but he is not here at the moment he is working" answers Isobel.
"Okay well I hope he doesn't mind you having a protection detail" says Maggie.
"Oh, he won't mind he is working" answers Isobel.
"Okay anything else because no offence something happened to make Jubal come back to the office and he is not with Rina, so is there anything else I need to know" asks Maggie?
"Fine but no one in the office can know, the only people know is Jubal and an unknown source, I found out that I am pregnant, and if Vargas finds out it puts me at greater risk and I am not putting my unborn child at risk, that's why Jubal put me in protective custody" explains Isobel.
"Okay well I am here to protect you and you and your baby will be safe and Vargas is not going to hurt you especially when everyone in the office find out you will have an army of people volunteering to protect you" explains Maggie.
"Thanks, Maggie you're a good agent" says Isobel.
"Not a problem now I know what's wrong would you like a lie down and I will wake you if Jubal calls" says Maggie.
"Fine I will" says Isobel getting up from the couch and heads to her room to sleep.
