The Days of Scissorhands

This poem is written like lyrics so it doesn't freaking rhyme! ;) It also has a deep meaning. I don't know how you readers are going to respond to this if you even understand it at all… so review and let me know if I should write more of this style or completely scratch it!

The years go by

and she's beginning to forget

the paradise

which came from youth

in the summer nights of Scissorhands.

She is far from the days

of Scissorhands

but she remains with him anyway

and feels his hands

against her heart.

Though she still feels she is a stranger

when she thinks of him,

he would never hate her

from where she is

right now.

And though she would never truly leave

her love, Scissorhands,

she will believe

the days that were

are gone away.

But their still high

on the summer nights of Scissorhands

and the sunny sky

they'll never see again.

And the sunny sky they'll never see again.
