This is something I wrote about J.K. Rowling. It's not really about Harry Potter, but I didn't know where to put it, so please tell me if you can think of somewhere else I can put it that will fit better.

My Favorite Author; J.K. Rowling

My favorite author is J.K. Rowling, the author of all of the Harry Potter books and many others. In my opinion, she's very creative and probably loves writing. This woman puts her mind, heart, and soul into all of her writing. No on could dislike such determination.

J.K. Rowling was a single mother when she wrote the beginning of Harry Potter and The Sorcerers Stone at a local cafe. Soon, she was in luck, as she recieved an unprecedented award from the Scottish Arts Council enableing her to finish the book! After that, the novel has become an international phenomenom, garnering revies and major awards, including the British Book Awards, Children's Book of the Year, and the Smarties Prize.

Now that you have learned about how the first Harry Potter book started and about some of the awards that the Harry Potter books got awarded, I have nothing left to say. At the very beginning, I told you of my opinion of J.K. Rowiling, and that's all I know about her besides the books that she wrote. I hope you enjoyed reading this.
