The next couple of days after my family found out about my secret went by in a blur. It took everyone a day to comprehend everything but they assured me that they still loved me. The only person that I haven't talked to was Edward. I would see him but he would always leave before I could speak to him. I could tell he was angry with me despite my family saying otherwise.

It was hard to see him at school. We usually walked together but he has found a way around me. Alice has had to start driving me to school, I usually rode with Bella and Edward. It was torture to see him and not being able to talk to him.

I am currently standing at my locker putting my books away. It was Wednesday and I could not wait until Friday. Alice was a good support for me at school while Edward kept his distance. It was in this moment that I wish Alex was here with me. The thought of Alex brought a smile to my lips. We made it official that we were dating. Everyone was happy for us. Alice actually said that it was about time. I got lost in my thoughts that I was unaware of the presence that appears beside me.

"Sophie?" I jump back started at the person beside me. I look at Bella with wide eyes.

"Oh, Bella, hi." She gives me a small smile.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you." I shake my head at her.

"It's fine. I was just zoned out." She nodded her head. "Is everything ok?"

"Yeah, everything is fine. I wanted to ask if you wanted to come to my house on Friday after school." I raised my eyebrows at her. "Angela will be there for a little bit. I'm helping her hand address her graduation announcements. We can then hang out after she leaves."

"Is there a reason why you want me at your house. We haven't really hung out in a long time."

"I just want to spend more time with you. I also have some questions." I sigh and close my locker door.

"I understand. Sure that sounds fine." She gives my a smile.

"Great. I'll see you later Sophie."

I smile and give her a small wave as she leaves the school building. I hope this goes well.

It took some convincing from Rosalie and Alex for me to hang out with Bella. It was no secret that she wasn't their favorite person. Alex thought she was a bad influence on me. I won the fight by promising to spend the whole day on Saturday with him. Our first date officially. Rosalie grumbled but eventually relented. Which found me currently sitting on Bella's bed helping her hand address graduation announcements with Angela.

"Thank you for helping me with this. My mom has a thousand cousins and she wants me to hand address all of them."

I smile at her. "It's no problem."

"Have you two sent out graduation announcements?"

"No," replies Bella. "Renee knows when I'm graduating and who else am I going to write to?"

"What about you Sophie?"

"Yep, all done." That was true. Esme and Carlisle thought it would be nice to send out announcements to our cousins in Denali and to Peter and Charlotte. I think they wanted me to have a human experience since I am graduating High School. For the first time in this universe at least.

"I really do appreciate this. The both of you are saving me from a wrist injury. Eric is pretending that he has tendonitis," she said laughing.

"I don't mind at all," I reply. It was really nice to get out of the house for a little while.

"What's Edward doing tonight?" she asked after a few minutes. My pen halts on the paper. I looked to see Bella's pen stopping also.

"Emmett's home for the weekend. They're supposed to be out hiking with Alex." It surprised me how easily Bella responded to Angela.

"That's nice that he can go hiking with his brothers. Speaking of Alex, when did you meet him Sophie? It's obvious that you two are dating." I let a small smile slip onto my lips.

"We met in Denali right after we left Forks. He's friends with my cousins and they kind of introduced us. When we moved to Ithaca, he followed us there and we spent time together. He is doing online courses for college right now. When we came back, he wanted to stay with us so he officially moved in with our family I guess."

"When did you two start dating?"

"Officially? About three days ago. We've kind of hinted about it for the past two months. If you told me that we would start dating when we first met, I would have told you that you were crazy. I hated him when we first met," I said while laughing. "He was an egotistical idiot but he slowly warmed my heart."

I stopped and looked at Bella who was writing more addresses down. She was really quiet. Angela noticed too.

"Bella, are you ok? You seem...anxious."

Bella smiled sheepishly. "Is it that obvious?"

"Not really." Bless Angela for trying not to make Bella feel bad.

"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. I'll listen if you think it will help."

"Your right. I'm anxious. It's...Edward."

"What's wrong?"

Bella let out a sigh. "He's mad at me." I'm not completely surprised at that. Edward hasn't spoken to me but I knew he wasn't happy that we went onto the reservation.

"That's hard to imagine," she says. "What's he mad about?"

Bella sighed. "Do you remember Jacob Black?"

"Ah," said Angela.

"Yeah."

"He's jealous." Bingo Angela.

Bella furrowed her brows. "No, not jealous. Edward thinks Jacob is a bad influence, I guess. You know how much trouble I got in a few months back. It's all ridiculous though."

I sigh and look at Bella. "Bella, I know my brother. He's jealous."

Bella looks surprised. "What?"

Angela shakes her head while agreeing with me. "Bella, I've seen how Jacob looks at you. I'd bet the real problem is jealousy."

Bella frowned. "Jacob knows how I feel. I've told him everything."

"Edward's only human Bella. He's going to react like any other boy." I grimace at that comment.

Angela patted Bella's hand. "He'll get over it."

"I hope so."

Angela then turned to me. "By the way. Who was that guy that was with Jacob in the parking lot? You got into his car after Bella left with Jacob." I wrinkled my nose at the memory. It had been a mistake to go on the reservation.

"His name is Paul. He's an idiot." Angela raised a brow.

"Is anything else going on with him?" I looked at her confused before realizing what she was insinuating.

I look at her with wide eyes. "God no! I can't stand the guy. Well that's not completely true. I more on the line tolerate him. I see him as the annoying older brother that I never wanted." I bite back a smile as Angela starts to chuckle.

"Ok then." Angela then changed to subject. She started talking about how she was going to Washington University in the fall. Eric would be joining her. They were off to Seattle in a few months and I hoped that everything in Seattle would be settled by then. I was hoping that Victoria would be gone by then. "Have the both of you decided where you are going?"

I looked at Angela and glanced at Bella. "We are going to the University in Juneau, Alaska." Angela looked at us surprised.

"Alaska? I'm not surprised that Sophie is going there but Bella, I thought you would go somewhere...warmer."

Bella laughed. "Yeah. Forks really changed my perspective on life."

"And the fact that Edward's going there too," I chimed in. The three of us started laughing. The rest of the time was filled with small talk. It was awkward when Angela mentioned that we would have to stay in touch. Just signifying that we would have to eventually stop talking to everyone once me and Bella were turned. It wouldn't be as difficult for me since I really only hung around my family. Though I knew it would be more difficult for Bella. It got quiet between me and Bella once Angela left. I knew that Bella wanted to ask me questions.

"Alex doesn't really like me much does he?" I look at Bella. I'm surprised that she's not starting out by asking me questions.

"It's not that he doesn't like you. He just thinks your a bad influence. He also has the same viewpoint that Rosalie does."

Bella nods. "Edward told me that he used to be part of the Volturi."

"Yeah. He was with them for a long time. He left them fifty years ago but only settled with the Denali's about two years ago. He followed us to Ithaca after I met him. I can't begin to tell you how annoying he was at first."

"Does Alex have a power?"

"He does. He has the power of persuasion, as he likes to call it. Basically, you have to do whatever he tells you to do. I don't think it would work on you though. His power doesn't work on me either."

She nodded and it soon got quiet between us. Bella looked at me for an awkward moment. "Can I get you anything?"

"Oh, um sure. Just a water please." I go and sit on her couch while Bella gets me a glass of water from the kitchen. I gladly take it when she comes back. "Thanks." We then sit in awkward silence. I look at Bella to see her looking deep in thought. I give her a small smile before starting the conversation. "What would you like to know?"

Bella pondered for a moment. "It's a lot to take in. So basically, there is a universe where my life is in a book."

"Yes."

"So everything that has happened thus far, you already knew about it."

I nodded my head. "Correct."

"This is a lot to take in."

I smiled at her apologetically. "I know. I'm sorry that I never said anything. I didn't know how to."

Bella nodded her head and looked at me. "How many books are there?"

I look at her and decide I need to tell her more but I need to be careful about it. "There are four books. They were turned into movies also."

Bella's eyes widened. "Movies?"

"Yeah. I preferred the books though. Some things were glossed over in the movies."

"Where are we currently in?"

"We are currently in the third book."

"So, Victoria is behind all of this. She's turning everyone into vampires to come after us."

"Yes."

"What happens next? Are we able to defeat her? What happens in the fourth book?"

I look at Bella. "I can't say anything Bella. I'm worried that if I say too much then everything will start to collapse."

Bella looks at me. "How so?"

"Some things are different. I'm worried that if things from the future come out then it either won't happen or something horrible will happen in it's place. I want to help out the best that I can though. I want to let you all know as much as possible so that everything unravels more smoothly."

Bella nodded her head. "Ok." We are soon engulphed in silence.

I look at Bella for a moment. "How's Edward handling everything?" Bella looks surprised.

"He hasn't talked to you?"

I shake my head. "He's been avoiding me. I really miss him. I know that I probably ruined our sister brother relationship but I just want to make sure that he's ok." I look up at the ceiling instantly feeling another presence in the house. "Edward, you can come down now. How much did you hear?"

In a blink of an eye, Edward is sitting in the chair across from the couch. He looks at me for a moment. "Almost everything," he replies.

I nodded my head and stared at him. "I'm sorry."

Edward started shaking his head. "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have reacted the way that I did. I've been avoiding you and I am sorry for that. It was just a lot to process." Edward starts raking his hand through his hair.

"It's ok. So, what now?"

"Well. We now know that Victoria is behind this. When does she come to Forks?"

"Sometime after graduation."

"Graduation is three weeks away. Do you know how long after we graduate?"

I bite my lip. "In the movie, she comes three days after we graduate. I don't know if it will be then or if she will wait a little longer. Or she might be on her way now."

Edward starts shaking his head. "Alice would have seen it."

I started shaking my head. "Not necessarily. She's figured out how Alice's visions work and has been letting someone else making the decisions. She's staying out of her sight. She only makes the decision at the last moment."

"How did she figure that out?" Edward looks astonished.

"I believe James told her before he came for me and Bella. She wants revenge."

"What do we do now?" asks Bella. I look at Bella and Edward.

"I will tell you as much as I can. You know that Victoria will come sometime soon. It's best to stay here and when the time comes we will be ready for her." I pause and look at Edward. "Your not going to like this, but we will need to team up with the wolves. They will give us more numbers to protect the town and the other vampires won't know that they exist. It will give us an advantage over them." I look at Edward and watch as his eyes harden.

"Your right. I don't like that. It means more protection for you and Bella though. So I guess that I will go along with it for now."

"I do have a request though Edward." Edward raises an eyebrow. "Don't tell them about the other universe and how they are in a book series. I'm not exactly sure how they will handle it. Let's just tell them what they need to know."

"Alright. The less they know the better everything will turn out."

"Hopefully," interjects Bella. I turn and stare at Bella. "I think they have a right to know. They are involved in this also."

"Bella, how do you think they are going to take the information that you know. What will Jacob say when he learns about his life being in books?"

"He'll understand. I'll make him understand."

"Fine, say that he does understand. The wolves can see each others thoughts when they are phased. What happens when Sam, Jared, or even Paul finds out. How will they react? Do you think they will understand?"

Bella sighs in defeat. "I guess not. I just hate keeping secrets from Jake."

"It's easier this way," interjects Edward. Edward's hardened gaze was staring at Bella. Bella just huffed in annoyance but decided not to touch on the topic any further. Edward looked at his watch he had on and turned to me. "Come on Sophie, I'll take you home." I nodded and stood up.

"Will you be back tonight?" I already knew that question was aimed at Edward.

"Yes, I'll be back in a couple of hours." Edward leaned and kissed Bella on the forehead. He turned to me and I followed him out of the house. I waved goodbye to Bella right before I climbed into Edward's Volvo.

Edward put the car into drive and we started to head back to the house. I look at Edward's emotionless face. "What are you thinking?" Edward cracked a small smile.

"I could ask you the same question." I smiled and sat back in my seat. The car was full of comfortable silence all the way back to the house.

Well, I hoped that you enjoyed this chapter. I think this is the longest chapter that I have done yet. Next chapter we will really start to see the growth between Sophie and Alex. Until next time!
