"So how does someone go from liking vanilla ice cream to chocolate ice cream? On second thought, how can you stand ice cream? It smells disgusting." I laugh as Alex wrinkles his nose.

"I don't know. Your taste buds change over time. I just prefer chocolate now." I look at him before putting a spoon full of chocolate ice cream into my mouth. I sighed in satisfaction and smile at seeing Alex's face. "I know that this doesn't appeal to you. Human food."

Alex shakes his head. "It's not the most pleasant smell but I'll just endure it." As promised, I've been spending the whole day with Alex. I grumbled when he woke me up at 6 in the morning. He drove me to Port Angeles where we have been walking around for the day. We were currently walking to the car while I was eating chocolate ice cream. "Do you remember ever eating food?"

"When I was still human?" I nodded my head as I kept eating my ice cream. "No, I don't. I don't remember much from my human life. I'm over 200 years old. It's been a long time since when I last ate anything or had a heart beat."

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Thanks for reminding me your age. You just signified how gross it is that I'm dating an old man."

Alex's laughter reached my ears. I finished my ice cream just as we reached the car. "I can't help that you find me irresistible."

"Did chivalry die with you to?" Alex gave me a smile as he opened the car door for me. I got into the car and before I could blink, Alex was in the driver's seat starting the car. My eyes widened as I looked all around me. "Are you crazy! What if someone saw you?"

"No one saw me. Don't worry." I sighed as I settled in my seat. We then started to head back to the house.

"Thank you for today. I think this is what I needed."

"You're welcome. I think we both needed this. You've been cooped up in the house for too long."

"Well, thankfully it looks like my jail time has officially ended. Carlisle's releasing me on good behavior. The only thing is that he wants someone to stay behind with me when everyone has to go hunt."

"Well I'm glad that you are no longer grounded. We can hangout outside of the house now. You do know why he wants someone to stay with you, correct?"

I nodded. "I don't think it's because he doesn't trust me. He does trust me but I think it's for my safety. There have been extra precautions ever since Riley attacked me." Silence engulphed us.

"It's still hard to believe that somewhere else this is a book series."

"I know. I'm wondering if the multiverse string theory is real."

Alex's head whips over to me. "When did you suddenly get interested in science?"

"I'm not interested in science. I've just done research on the topic. Since I'm here, maybe it does exist."

"That is an intriguing theory." We soon get back to the house where Rosalie is waiting at the door for me.

I smile as I head over to her. "Hi." She engulfs me into a hug.

"You ok? Did you have a nice time." Rosalie has always been protective of me but I think she's basically smothering me. I didn't want to tell her that because part of me wanted her to be close to me.

"I'm fine. We actually had a good time."

"Don't worry Rose. I would never harm her." I turn to Alex with furrowed brows.

"Since when did you start calling her Rose?" Alex has started to get more comfortable with our family.

"Recently unfortunately," grumbled Rosalie. She turned around and walked into the house.

I walk into the house with Alex to find Alice sitting at the table with a computer and a whole bunch of papers out.

"What's this?" Alice looks at me and smiles. She's practically bouncing in her seat.

"Just planning our graduation party. It will be here in three weeks." I try to smile but it comes out as a grimace.

"I don't know Alice. Why do you want us to have a graduation party. All of you have graduated from high school already."

"Well Bella hasn't graduated high school before. You haven't graduated before either, well here anyway." I sigh and let the matter go.

"How many people will be here?" I never liked big crowds.

"I'm inviting the whole graduating class. Some of them might bring friends. Who knows how many will be here." In other words, our house will be packed. I feel Alex's hand rubbing smoothing circles on my back.

"It'll be fine." I sigh and nod. It's only for one night.

It was at that moment that Edward came down the stairs with a sigh. I looked at him curiously. "What's going on?"

"Bella just suggested something that worries me."

I look at him confused. "What did she suggest."

"We need to hunt and I don't want to leave her alone. She suggested that the both of you can stay at La Push for the day."

"What!" I look at him perplexed.

"Absolutely not!" Alex bellowed. Normally I didn't like it when Alex would try to make decisions for me, but I was ok with it this one time.

"Why do I need to go?" I understood that they need to hunt, even Alex needs to, but I would rather stay home alone than go over to the wolves.

"I don't want you to be alone. Especially with Riley and Victoria being after you."

"Then Alex can stay with me."

Edward sighed. "He needs to hunt too Sophie. I don't agree with this but it means protection for you and Bella while we are gone. It will only be for a day."

I look around me and I can't help but to agree. Everyone has dark bags under their eyes and their eyes were pitch black. Alex looked the worst out of everyone and he hasn't been on the vegetarian diet for very long. I sigh. "Fine. But you pick me up as soon as I'm ready to leave."

"No!" I grab Alex's hand and look at him.

"Trust me. I don't like it either, but you need to hunt. You look terrible." I try to smirk to lighten the mood but it turns more into a grimace.

Alex sighs in defeat. "Fine, but I'll be at the line as soon as you call us." I nod.

"When Edward?"

"Tomorrow." I sigh in exasperation.

"Fine, let's just get this over with."

Sorry for the delayed update. Work has been busy and I am just now finding the time to update. I know this chapter is more of a filler. Next chapter Sophie will be hearing about the legends. Until next time!
