I'm standing in the rain again
Staring at the sky.
I'm drowning in my pain again
Because I can't figure out why.
The thunder shakes the ground again
Drowning out my strangled cry.
The lightning flashes across the sky again
Blinding me in the light.
The tears roll down my face again
Becoming lost in the rain.
Now your standing in front of me again
Even though you should be in your grave.
You smile at me sadly again
In the way you know I hate.
You reach to touch my face again
I remember I always used to pull away.
You start to dissapear again
Like the night you died in vain.
I'm wrapping my arms around you again
Screaming at you to wait.
Once more you are out of my reach again
All because I was too late.
I'm looking at the sky again
As the rain pounds into my skin.
I'm falling to the ground again
As I reach out to myself.
I run to myself again
As I recognize the dream of my fate.
My breathing becomes slow again
As my heart starts to die.
I close my eyes again
As I look up at the sky
One last time.
