Ron was sprawled out on his dormitory bed. Everyone had gone to their classes, but Ron stayed behind because he felt 'sick'. Mainly he just needed a day off. He was tired of classes, tired of school.

"At least I have Harry," he announced to himself.

His mind wandered randomly but they kept coming back to Harry.

'I wish I could fly like a jet plane. Or I wish I could read the minds of my enemies.' Ron thought.

"You know what I really wish though?" he said aloud, "Have a hero to come and rescue me."

Harry had been distant lately. Maybe it was Sirius' death. Maybe he was getting tired of school too.

"Whatever happened to the heroes?" Ron asked to no one in particular.

Ron was having a tough time with Harry. Not that they were fighting, it was just that Ron didn't know how to handle how he was acting at the moment.

"I just need someone to look up to. I need someone to help me down this winding road," Ron pleaded.

Ron wasn't sure why Harry was acting the way he was. But it really bothered him.

"I know I'm full of imperfections, but aren't we all?" Ron asked, thinking that maybe he was the reason Harry was so distant.

Ron's curtains were closed as he was saying these things and did not realize that Harry had walked into the room earlier to get his books for the next class.

Harry pulled open Ron's bed curtains and sat on the edge.

"I'll be that someone to help you down that winding road," Harry said to a shocked Ron.

Harry ended up skipping the rest of the classes for the day and hung out with his best mate, Ron.
