Lissa and Robin had been walking through the castle corridors for what felt like forever to Robin. He swore that they passed the same floral tapestry for the third time now. He was beginning to suspect that Lissa had gotten lost…
"Lissa, you're sure you know where you're going? Like a one hundred percent sure, or like a sorta-sure" Robin asked as they approached yet another floral tapestry.
"Of course I do, Robin! I live here for crying out loud!" Lissa retorted.
Robin sighed. 'Maybe I'm just seeing things,' he thought, and proceded to follow Lissa.
All the hallways looked pretty much the same, and there was nothing distinct about any of them, however, for the fifth time now, the pair passed the same floral tapestry. Robin now knew that he wasn't seeing things.
"Hey, uh, just out of curiosity, and ONLY out of pure curiosity, um, how many of those floral tapestries do you have?" Robin asked Lissa as they walked past another tapestry.
Lissa just rolled her eyes, "Robin, I KNOW where I'm going. And to answer your question, we have at least fifty of those."
Robin's eyes widened in surprise, "Why so many tapestries then?"
Lissa sighed in exasperation, then smiled, "Well, Emm is allergic to flowers, but she still loves them. Since we can't have actual flowers around the castle, Emm asked the staff to hang up the flower tapestries all around the castle. They actually do brighten the hallways though," Lissa said, then grinned as they passed another flower tapestry.
Robin smiled too, then felt a little silly questioning Lissa like that.
Lissa's smile widened even more as the pair approached a wide metal door.
"Here we are, Robin! The shepherd's garrison!"
Lissa then proceeded to push the door open. Robin was greeted with a large room, complete with crates full of weapons and armor, tables and desks littered with loose papers, and…a library.
Robin felt himself light up as he looked at the library. It wasn't too big, maybe only a few shelves full of books, but Robin was quite pleased all the same.
Lissa glanced at Robin and saw him staring at the library. She giggled, "Hehe, geez Robin, you look like a child in a candy store."
Robin rolled his eyes, and was about to check out the books when a woman quickly ran over to them. She seemed to be someone of higher status, judging by the way she carried herself. She wore a frilly outfit, and somewhat similar to the noble they mentioned earlier, and perfectly curled, blond hair. She was clutching a parasol, and she wore a rider's garb, but it was less armored than what Sully and Frederick wore.
"Lissa! Are you alright, dear? You've kept me on pins and needles since the moment you left!" The girl said hastily, her face showing nothing but pure concern.
Lissa just grinned.
"Oh, hey, Maribelle," She said plainly.
Robin tried really hard not to laugh at the drastic change in Maribelle's expression.
Maribelle scoffed,"'Oh hey' yourself! That's all you have to say to me? I've sprouted fourteen grey hairs fretting over you! Fourteen!" Maribelle crossed her arms, and scowled.
Lissa just giggled, "Aw you worry too much. I can handle a battle or two!" Her expression then darkened, "However, I could do with the bugs and bear barbecue." Lissa shivered, remembering the bug she swallowed through her hike in the woods.
Behind them, Robin could hear footsteps approaching them. Robin turned to see a shirtless man and a female, in a similar flyer outfit as Phila, approach them. The pegasus rider seemed to be distracted, and was frantically glancing around for…something. Robin wasn't sure what though.
"Hey squirt! Where's Chrom? Let me guess, he was complaining the whole time about me not being there. I'm sure he had a rough time without good ol' Teach, didn' he?" The shirtless man said, grinning ear to ear.
Lissa laughed. "Oh yeah, the ENTIRE time Chrom was talking about you. Even in his sleep," she said sarcastically, causing everyone but the shirtless man to chuckle, who had completely missed her joke.
The shirtless man had a confused look on his face, "Wait, did he really talk about me in his SLEEP?! Oh, wait…that was a joke wasn't it? Har har, very funny Lissa." The man said, rolling his eyes, but he looked a bit disappointed nonetheless.
Lissa laughed and gave Vaike a wistful grin, "So, you go by Teach now, eh, Vaike? And here I thought you were born lacking wits. It can be taught?" She said, then broke down into a fit of giggles.
Vaike gave her a thumbs up, "Never doubt the Vaike!" He said, the insult going right over his head.
Robin grinned to himself, amused by the man's utter stupidity. Oh, the fun he could have with this man…
The Pegasus us rider stumbled forward, concern still all over her face.
"Beg pardon, but when might we see captain…he's okay right?" 'Ah, that's what she was looking for,' Robin thought.
Maribelle scowled and rolled her eyes, "Poor Sumia. She's simply been beside herself with concern. Her eyes were scanning the horizon all day yesterday. Honestly, she might have earned fewer bruises fighting blindfolded."
Beside Sumia, Vaike smirked, and Robin caught on. He couldn't help but smile too.
Lissa just smiled, "That's sweet of you to worry about Chrom, Sumia."
Sumia's eyes bulged at the implication,"Worry? Well I…um, of course I'd worry! I-I mean he is our captain and our prince…so uh, I…yeah." She sighed in defeat.
Vaike, still grinning, looked to Robin, "So, who's the newbie?"
Lissa's eyes widened, forgetting all about Robin, and internally smacked herself.
"Oh, yeah! This is Robin! He'll be joining the shepherds. Chrom appointed him to be our new tactician…er, first tactician."
Vaike crossed his arms, "Tactician eh? Well, can he fight? Other than…you know, uh…tactitionalize?"
Lissa snorted, "Vaike, that isn't even a word, but yeah, he can. He knows magic AND swords! I mean how crazy is that?!"
Vaike pouted, then his eyes lit up, "Oh yeah? Well can Magic Man do this?" Then Vaike let out a large belch. Sumia sighed and face palmed while Maribelle grimaced. Robin was actually kinda impressed.
"Impressive," Robin said.
"Heh, thanks,"Vaike said proudly and crossed his arms.
Maribelle looked to Vaike, fanning the air around her, "Ugh Vaike! That was utterly abhorrent! Must you baseborn oafs pollute even the air with your buffoonery? Utterly disgusting!" Then she looked at Robin, "And you, Robin! Don't encourage him! I'd hoped you were cut from finer cloth. Hmph!" And with that, Maribelle turned and stomped off.
'Uh oh. It's like female Frederick, just terrifying in a whole other way,' thought Robin.
Sumia sighed as Maribelle left, "Don't take it to heart, Robin. Maribelle warms to people slowly."
"Yep!…Or burns too quickly. But yeah, just give her time," Lissa chirped.
Behind them, the door to the garrison opened, revealing Chrom. He looked exhausted. His hair was disheveled, and he was slouching…slouching more than usual.
"Goodness captain! Are you okay?! You look awful!" Sumia said in alarm, running forward to him, only to trip on a few loose papers and fall face first on the ground. Robin winced.
Sumia quickly got up, blushing furiously.
Chrom looked at her alarmed, "Sumia! Are you okay? Those boots of yours again?"
Sumia was still blushing, and took a sudden interest in her feet.
"N-no! I mean, yes! I-I mean…" she sighed, and backed up.
Chrom took one last concerned glance at Sumia, but decided to continue.
"Alright everyone. Tomorrow we will be marching to Regna Ferox." Chrom's exhaustion was gone completely, much to Robin's amazement.
"Regna Ferox? What's that?" Robin asked.
Sumia tentatively stepped up, careful not to fall again, "It's a unified kingdom to Ylisse's north. Inhabited by barbarians, or so it's said."
Chrom chuckled, "Warriors are what they are…at least I hope so. But we'll need their strength to fight this new menace nonetheless."
Robin pictured a kingdom full of nothing but Vaikes. A strange visual, but Robin was sure it pretty much summed up Regna Ferox.
"So, we're the ones to get them to fight with us, then?" Robin asked.
"Well, typically the exalt, that being my sister, would request such aid in person. But given recent events…well, the people might worry if she were to suddenly leave the capitol. So the task has been passed to us!" Chrom said excitedly, making Sumia and Lissa giggle.
Vaike pumped his fists in the air, "Heck yeah! Finally, an actual interesting mission for ol' Teach!"
Chrom smiled, "Heh, well I already think I know a few of your answers, but this mission is strictly voluntary, so if any of-"
"I volunteer!" Lissa piped.
Vaike crossed his arms, "Count me in too! You'll be needn' ol' teach to watch your back."
Robin heard a quiet shuffle nearby, "I'll go as well." A voice said. Robin yelped, and spun around to find the source, with no luck. 'Man, I seriously need some sleep,' He thought.
Sumia shuffled her feet and started to nervously fiddle with her hair, "I…I, um…" Chrom looked at her, giving her a curious look.
"It's just that…I don't think I'm quite ready for a proper mission yet. I'll probably just get in the way…"
Chrom gave her a reassuring smile, "Well, you could stay behind the main group, and if a battle is met, just watch in learn?"
Sumia still looked nervous, but she nodded, "Well, you think that's wise captain, I'll do just that."
Chrom grinned, "Just stay by me and you'll be fine."
Sumia's eyes lit up, and she tried to hide her grin, with not much luck,"Yes! I mean-Yes sir, I'll do that!"
Robin, Lissa and Vaike all laughed at the pair's obliviousness.
Chrom had told those who were going on the mission to rest up, especially Robin. Lissa had shown Robin where his room would be in the barracks. It was a fairly nice room, not too big and not too small. It had a very soft bed, a few shelves, and a desk with a chair.
The first thing Robin did was flop down onto his bed. He felt like he was laying on top of a cloud. Robin didn't even bother to take off his boots. He fell asleep before he could feel uncomfortable.
Robin woke up to a beautiful sunrise peeking through the windows in his room. The sun hit his face, filling him with a feeling of warmth. Groggily, he sat up, and yawned. Robin felt like he hadn't slept that good in weeks.
He stretched out his arms, letting his tight muscles relax. He felt so much better. His head felt more clear, and he felt like he could take on anything.
Slowly, he swung his legs over to the edge of the bed. Honestly, he didn't want to get up, but he knew he had a big day ahead of him. Robin sighed, 'I guess today is my first official day as a shepherd,' he thought.
Robin couldn't help but smile. The feeling of being a part of something made him feel good.
Robin heard a loud gurgling sound. He looked down and realized it was coming from his stomach.
Food sounded really good to him right now, too.
Robin hurriedly got out of his bed. He didn't have to do anything to get ready since he went to sleep in his clothes. His main concern was to find a mirror though. He still never got the chance to look at himself yet, and by feeling his head he knew he had a really bad case of 'bed hair'.
Robin exited his room. As he walked, he kept his eyes peeled for something so he could look at himself. He settled for a stained glass window that was close to the floor. It wasn't perfect, but it was enough to get a good idea on his actual appearance.
Sure enough, his hair was a real mess, and was twisted in a way he didn't even know hair could go. He ran his fingers through his hair, trying to smooth it out a little and get the knots out. Unfortunately, Robin's hair seemed to have a mind of its own, so he gave up and decided to go find something to eat.
Lissa had shown Robin where the dining hall was, but the palace was such a maze, it took Robin a while to find it. The only reason he could find it was the smell of bacon that had drifted throughout the hallways.
Robin was relieved to see that the dining hall wasn't empty, and he even saw two familiar faces sitting at a table.
"Sully! Virion! It's good to see you again." Robin said, and made his way to the two shepherds after getting some food.
Sully looked up, a mouth full of bacon, "Hey there, Robin was it?" Robin nodded, and Sully grinned, "Well, glad to see you made it back in one piece! I'm assuming you'll be joining us on the mission to Regna Ferox?" Robin nodded, and Sully pumped a fist in the air, "Hell yeah! Don't expect us to slow down for ya, though. Make sure you keep up!"
Robin smirked, "I'm sure I'll be fine."
Sully mock gasped, "Ha! Cocky, are we? We'll see who's the cocky one once we spar. Heh, I'll wipe the floor with your arse."
Robin grinned, "Heh, you're on!…after this mission."
Beside them, Virion cleared his throat, "You do realize that I am present, too."
"We realize," Robin and Sully said in unison.
Virion sighed, and returned back to his food. Robin and Sully continued their conversation about the upcoming mission. After finishing breakfast, the group got up. Robin grabbed a few apples for the march, just in case he got hungry. He stuffed them in one of his many compartments in his coat, and ran to catch up with Sully and Virion. Sully had to make a quick stop to get her horse from the stables. About fifteen minutes had passed, and the trio made their way towards where Chrom told them all to meet.
By the time they arrived, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa and Sumia were already there. Chrom looked towards the approaching trio, and grinned,"Glad to see you all made it! Now, the only person left is-"
"Vaike," Lissa said, rolling her eyes.
Chrom sighed, and put a hand to his face, "Why did I even hope he'd be here on time…" Chrom muttered to himself.
"I'm here! Don't leave Teach behind! That'd be a decision you'd regret!" Vaike hollered, as he breathlessly ran up to the group.
Vaike ran to the group, and put his hands to his knees, panting. He raised his left arm high, holding an axe.
"Don't worry. It's here! I actually brought my axe this time!" Vaike said triumphantly.
"How many missions had he forgotten his axe to," Robin murmured to Sully.
Sully grinned, "About 4 times. He's only been on 6 missions…including this one." Robin's jaw dropped in disbelief, making Sully snicker.
"Alright, is everyone ready?" Chrom asked, looking around to everyone. This earned mutters in agreement from everyone. With that, Chrom began to lead the group away from Ylisse.
"Wait!" Someone yelled behind the group. The holler was followed by the sound of hooves from a galloping horse.
A man in a similar rider's attire as Sully rode up to the group. He had green hair that matched his green uniform. Despite the fact he was riding a horse, this man was panting from exhaustion.
"Stahl?" Chrom asked. "I didn't know you were coming."
Stahl frowned, still trying to catch his breath, "Why am I the last one to hear about the expedition to Ferox?" Stahl asked, visibly annoyed.
Chrom looked at Lissa, Lissa turned to Vaike, Vaike looked confused.
"Vaike! Did you forget to tell Stahl about the mission?" Lissa exclaimed, ignoring Chrom who was glaring at her.
Vaike rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, "The Vaike never forgets…he just doesn't always remember is all…"
Everyone rolled their eyes.
"I swear, you'd forget your own name if you weren't constantly saying it yourself!" Lissa said.
Vaike tried to lighten the mood, "Well in any case, glad to have ya along Stahl ol' buddy."
Stahl glared at Vaike, "Ugh, if SOMEONE had told me about this mission, I wouldn't have had to miss breakfast! There were muffins and cakes and…bacon! *sigh* I can't go on without bacon…," he said, causing everyone to chuckle a little.
Everyone began to march again. Stahl got off his horse to walk with everyone. Frederick was way up front, doing the same weird thing Robin saw him do earlier. Robin saw that Chrom and Sumia were up front, happily chatting. Lissa was behind them, obviously eavesdropping. Sully and Vaike seemed to be in a heated argument about something. Virion seemed to be in a bad mood, and was walking silently right behind Sully.
Stahl was also in a bad mood, due to missing breakfast. Robin decided that he should probably get to know some of the other shepherds other than just Chrom and Lissa. He walked up next to Stahl, and as if on cue, Stahl's stomach gave a loud audible growl.
Stahl sighed, and rubbed his stomach.
Robin smiled,"You seem hungry, Stahl was it? Here take this," Robin said, tossing him one of the apples Robin had in his coat pocket.
Stahl's eyes lit up.
"Thank you!" He said, taking a big bite out of his apple, "You're truly a life saver…um, I don't think I got your name," Stahl said with a mouth full of apple.
"I'm Robin, your, uh…new tactician," Robin said, remembering Lissa mentioned something about him being the first.
Stahl nodded, "Oh yeah, that's right! Miriel mentioned that we had a new shepherd. She's one of our mages by the way. She should catch up soon" Stahl said, then took another big bite of his apple. 'Impressive, he's only taken two bites, and he's already more than halfway done with his apple,' Robin thought.
Stahl looked back at Robin, "So, you're a tactician. No offense, but does that mean you'll be in the back lines?"
Robin grinned, "Heh, I'm not only brains ya know. I know tomes and sword fighting as well."
Stahl looked at him in awe, "Wow, impressive! Where did you say you're from?"
Robin frowned,"…I didn't say-"
He was cut off by a loud growl in the distance. Robin and Stahl looked up and saw a horde of the Risen creatures up on the path ahead of them. Everyone ran up to where Chrom was, awaiting orders.
Chrom looked at Robin, "Robin, what's the plan."
Robin looked at the risen horde. The majority of the risen were paladins, with a few risen wielding bows and swords. He looked back to his group. Robin mentally sized up the enemy, and was able to compare that with his group. Strength wise, they won, but numbers wise, they lost by a lot.
"We can't take them all on at once," Robin said, "But, if we can find somewhere to lure them to, then take them down a couple at a time, victory should be no problem." Robin said, earning a few cheers.
Robin looked around, and saw what he was hoping for: a bridge. Robin grinned, a plan coming to mind. He turned back to the group.
"Alright everyone. Here's the plan."
The plan was simple: lure the Risen over to the bridge and force them to thin out. With that, it would be easy for the group to pick them off one by one. Unfortunately, Vaike had somehow managed to lose his axe, leaving the group short one fighter. Sully, Stahl, and Frederick were to lure the Risen over to the bridge since they were the fastest, and make sure the Risen stayed in a pack. Virion was to pick off any of the risen wielding bows and any Risen that got too close to Lissa. Lissa, being the most defenseless, was to stay back and help from the sidelines. The mage that Stahl had mentioned earlier, Miriel, had showed up with Vaike's axe, allowing Vaike to fight again, but he was going to stay by Virion, and act as a second line of defense for Lissa and Virion. That left Chrom, Robin and Sumia to fight the Risen coming from the bridge, with the help of Sully, Stahl, and Frederick later on.
The group had to work fast and efficiently in order for Robin's plan to actually work. If even one Risen strayed from the horde, that could lead to a series of effects that could negatively affect the outcome of the battle.
Everyone got into positions. Robin gave the signal, and the group put the plan into play.
Robin was standing with Chrom and Sumia at the end of the bridge.
Sumia was clutching her lance nervously.
Robin looked at her, "Hey, it's going to be okay," He said softly.
Sumia nodded, and gave Robin a weak smile, "I'm sure it will be…especially with your plan. It's just…well, I've never been in a real battle before. I guess I'm just more worried that I'll get in the way," She said sadly.
Chrom shook his head, "Your going to do great. Robin's plan will make this battle seem like child's play. Trust me on this, Sumia."
Sumia nodded, "O-okay, captain."
The growls got louder, and the three riders were able to get the Riders near the bridge.
"Alright, you guys can pull back now!" Robin yelled to the three paladins.
They all rode to the end of the bridge, right past Chrom, Sumia and Robin, and readied their weapons. Virion and Miriel were able to take out all the bowmen, leaving only the paladins and swordsmen, making the job of the bridge fighters much easier.
Slowly, the Risen were in reach of the fighters, and the battle truly began. Metal clashing with metal began to ring through the air. Robin used his tome first. He shot four thunder spells before he started to feel the fatigue, so he then switched to his sword. Chrom was doing well, too. He swung his sword in an aggressive yet graceful way, cutting down any Risen in his path. Sumia wasn't actually doing too bad despite it being her first battle. She was a little sloppy with some of her movements, but all her clumsiness seemed to just disappear, much to the relief of Robin.
The three paladins were doing great, too. Sully was grinning from ear to ear as if she enjoyed this. Stahl was a decent fighter, too. He wasn't nearly as aggressive as Sully, and he definitely wasn't wearing a manalical smile, but he got the job done. Frederick was as terrifying as ever, and Robin even caught him grinning at one point right before slicing a Risen in half. Robin shivered, vowing never to get on his bad side.
Soon, the Risen numbers dwindled. There was definitely less Risen than the previous battle with Marth. The last Risen was a swordsman. It actually had an entire limb cut off, but that didn't seem to have any effect on it at all, other than the fact it's balance was off.
Robin was about to cut it down, when a voice shouted behind him.
"WAIT!" It yelled.
Robin turned to see Vaike running toward him.
"Hold on a sec, will ya? Ol' Teach never got his moment! Please let him have it!," Vaike begged while practically on his knees.
Robin laughed.
"Alright, but only because you said 'please'." He said jokingly.
Vaike pumped a fist in the air and grinned, "Heck Yeah! Thanks man!" And with that, Vaike swung his axe at the risen, decapitating it.
Robin made his way back to Chrom and the others.
Chrom looked worried, "If they're appearing this far up the Northroad…"
"Then no place is safe," Frederick finished.
Sumia clutched her lance, "D-do you think we'll run into more of them?" She asked nervously.
Frederick frowned, "It's definitely a possibility. We need to be wary."
Chrom sighed, "Yes, Frederick's right. But we must press on." That earned a few grumbles, primarily from Lissa, but everyone continued up the road.
A couple hours later, the sun was at its peak in the sky, so Robin knew it was around noon. The group decided to take a small break for lunch, much to Stahl's delite. Frederick opted on patrolling the area while the others rested.
"Yes! Naga be praised!" Stahl said, pulling out a sandwich from his satchel.
Sully rolled her eyes, "Stahl, are you ever not thinking about food?"
Stahl took a big bite of his sandwich while shaking his head.
"Nompe," he said, mouth full of food.
Sully just shook her head, and began to eat her own food.
Miriel was sitting on a rock and reading a book and an apple in hand. Robin sorta envied her, wishing he brought a book along as well. Virion was sitting with Vaike and Lissa, closely inspecting his sandwich. He took a small bite, then quickly took a big bite and smiled.
"Goodness! What is this delicacy?" He asked after he swallowed.
Lissa looked at him baffled, "That's called ham and cheese, Virion."
Vaike laughed, "And they call me stupid," he muttered.
Virion looked up in disdain, "Ugh! The audacity you have to call me such a barbarous name! Who was the one who forgot their weapon to a battle? If I were Robin, I would've just sent you to the front lines…and used you as live bait!" Virion retorted.
"Why you-" Vaike yelled, and jumped up and ran at Virion. Virion jumped up too, but ran in the opposite direction.
"Oh no…"Chrom muttered, and he got up and ran after Vaike and Virion. Sumia, Lissa and Robin did the same.
Miriel rolled her eyes, and closed her book to watch the events unfold. Sully and Stahl however, stayed put. "Should we follow them?" Stahl asked.
"Naw, let's just let nature run its course," Sully said, grinning.
Stahl shrugged, and continued to eat his food.
Vaike was still chasing Virion, but it appeared the Virion had more stamina than Vaike, and Vaike was starting to slow down. Chrom and the others managed to catch up, and stepped between the two men, who were glaring daggers at each other.
"Vaike, you idiot! You can't kill our only archer!" Lissa said, smacking him across the top of his head.
Vaike rubbed his head, "Ow! Geez Lissa, that was totally uncalled for."
Lissa just glared at him. Chrom stepped up, annoyed.
"Can you both please just act like adults?" When neither man responded Chrom added, "Or I'll make you two hug it out."
"Fine, fine, I'll be the gentleman here. Though, I can't speak for HIM." Virion said, then huffed off.
Vaike rolled his eyes, "Honestly, nobles these days. Fine, ol' Teach'll let this go for now, but if he-" Vaike was cut off by a death glare from Chrom. "Fine, I'll just go." And with that, Vaike stomped off.
Chrom heaved a heavy sigh, "Honestly, we are all adults, right?" No one responded. Chrom turned to see Robin, Lissa and Sumia staring at what seemed to be a Pegasus.
Chrom walked to the group. Lissa was grinning,"I don't think I've ever seen a Pegasus out in nature before!"
Chrom chuckled, "Heh, nor have I. It seems to be injured, maybe we should take a look." Chrom slowly approached the creature.
As Chrom approached the creature, he accidentally stepped on a twig, making a loud snap. The sound spooked the Pegasus, causing it to flail about, almost trampling over Chrom.
Chrom immediately stepped back, "Whoa! Down, girl?" He hesitantly looked down, "Yep, down girl! Easy!" The Pegasus continued to flail around, only seeming to get more agitated.
Sumia stepped up. Chrom put an arm in front of her protectively, "Sumia, come no closer! This beast is crazed, and you could get hurt."
Sumia smiled and shook her head, "No, it's okay captain. I can handle this."
Sumia slowly walked closer to the crazed Pegasus, holding out a hand. As she drew closer, the Pegasus seemed to calm down a bit. Once Sumia was in arm's reach, she tentatively put a hand on the beast's snout and rubbed a little.
"Shh.. easy now, I won't hurt you," she said softly to the creature.
Chrom, Lissa and Robin watched in awe as Sumia was able to calm this creature in only a couple minutes.
"Sumia, that's incredible!" Lissa said.
"I've never seen anything like it," Chrom said in awe.
Sumia blushed, "Oh it's nothing really! I-I've just always had a way with animals," She stammered.
"Her wing is damaged. I'll stay back and patch her up. You all can go on ahead," Sumia said, petting the pegasus's neck.
"We can wait for you, Sumia." Chrom said.
Sumia shook her head, "Thank you captain, but I can manage. Every moment is precious when Ylisse is in danger, right?"
Chrom nodded, "Right then. We'll be on our way…but please be safe." He added.
Sumia grinned, "As you command, sir!"
