That's the number of chapter Strings of Fate currently has, and I haven't even uploaded the first chapter to AO3 yet!

I'm wondering how many chapters I have to blow through before I finally upload this to AO3.

"Andromeda, I must insist that you marry one of these appropriate pureblood men. They are worthy of you. They are all very magically powerful - I daresay that some of them are even more powerful than you are."
Andromeda Black bristles at this. She scans the list of names that her father offers to her. Mentally, she snorts. Very magically powerful - Rosier? He couldn't do a simple disarming charm until sixth year. She knows because she's seen it. Also, he's related to her.
None of the other names on the list are acceptable, either. They're all from stuck-up, prejudiced pureblood families, and they're all ugly - not that Andromeda would have cared much if they're nice. But they're rude, and mean, and she doesn't want anything to do with them.
"Andromeda…"
Her father's voice makes her glance up. "Yes, Father?"
"Please choose one, quickly."
His tone makes it clear that he's only saying please to be polite.
"I choose - I choose -" Andromeda struggles. She doesn't like any of these men!
She quickly scans the list again, nervousness rising in her. "I choose -"
"Andromeda Violetta Black!"
Andromeda flinches at her father's tone, and says finally, "I choose - I choose - Nott."
She doesn't like Thoros Nott either, but if she's going to be forced to choose someone from the list to marry, Nott's her choice, because he likes books (though he's as mean and prejudiced as the rest of the pureblooded boys).
Her father nods. "Good choice." he praises, his tone light and casual now but still carrying underlying, subtle disapproval because Andromeda has taken so much time in picking. "The Nott family is prestigious one, and you and young Mr. Nott will be a good match."
Andromeda bites her lip so hard that she's sure it's bleeding. "Yes, Father." she says dutifully.
"Good. Now, I shall send the contract to the Nott family and -"
Andromeda isn't listening to his next words. Her only thoughts are I don't want to get married, I don't want to get married, I don't want to get married.
But she has no choice.
