Lita shifted uncomfortably at the stare that Kane was giving her during the meeting. Maybe it was her outfit, her bust looked much bigger as of late. She tried to ignore his eyes burning into her, but it was harder than she thought, maybe because she liked the idea of it truthfully, or because they hadn't seen one another in weeks at this point. Lita swallowed hard, not even focusing on McMahon's little pep talk he always tried to give the night's roster. It sounded like muffled mumbles as she looked at his mouth moving. She dared to peek over again at him, at Kane. This time he wasn't looking at her. He was looking straight ahead, leaning against the wall like he always did during these meetings. She was startled when he turned his gaze back at her, grinning - like he knew that she was busy observing him. Lita blushed hard, forcing herself to keep to herself until the meeting was over. She fiddled with her fingers, abashed. The meeting ended and just like that he disappeared. Yes, they had slept together and had a personal relationship now but she still never understood how such a big man was so quick and silent. The roster of people flooded out of the room, conversating as they did so. Lita was speaking to one of the camera women who would be taking some of their picture for Summerslam.

"I have your outfit nearly ready. You said something about wanting black leather with some diamonds, right?" Christy said.

"Yeah. I thought you forgot about it already. I know you guys are super busy. Too busy to worry about one order among hundreds."

"Are you kidding me?" She folded her arms. "Most of the women and men are coming up with the dumbest and most confusing outfits they could think of. Yours is one of the simplest ones."

"I can't can't believe that. I always try my best to be complicating." Lita joked. Christy sniffle laughed at her joke, pushing her glasses back up, and taking out her camera. She flipped through a few images before landing on the one she wanted and getting excited.

"Yours is one of my favorites." She said leaning over to show Lita her camera screen. Lita liked her artistic mindset. She converted every part of Lita's idea into clothes.

"Wow. You should be a fashion artist," Christy looked as Lita as if she was offended. "It's not like this isn't fashion." Lita tried to apologize without apologizing.

"I get what you mean. I just don't think my work is good enough for that."

"Well it is," Lita placed her hand on the woman's shoulder, drawing a smile from her. "Well I'm going to get going." She excused herself.

"See ya." Christy waved, already flicking through images in her camera again. She was so into art it was crazy that she hadn't gotten famous before signing a contract with the company. She'd been there for only a year and a half. Yet, she well known outside of the company. Part of her contract is to not be able to work for outside companies, so she's limited in opportunities. One day she would probably just realize just how talented she is and just run for the hills.

Lita waved behind her before heading out of the door. She was still thinking about Kane, but she knew that she had to get him out of her mind. It wasn't right and she shouldn't have started the little affair anyhow. She shouldn't have slept with him. The idea of how everyone would have probably looked at her if they knew the truth was making her crazy. She walked past Trish, ignoring her talking about other women like always to others surrounding her. Trish glared at her, causing Lita to roll her eyes without notice that she was doing so. It became like an instinct. She just didn't like the women and vice versa. If there was something that Trish could use against her to make herself closer to the championship or simply embarrass and demean her, she wouldn't hesitate. Lita closed the door to her locker room as soon as she made it inside. She couldn't wait until Matt made it here. He'd gone back to see family for the weekend and his plane was delayed but he was nearly there. He was keeping her updated. Lita felt herself being pulled by someone. There large hands gripping her mouth so that she couldn't scream even if she tried.

"I miss you." She relaxed when she recognized the voice of Kane. He was so silent with his approaches towards her. She had to pay more attention to her surroundings. He slowly began to lay his head onto hers, kissing her head as he smelt her scent. He finally began to remove his hand from her mouth when he felt her relax against him.

"I know. I'm sorry." She replied, feeling guilty about ignoring him for as long as she had.

"You forgot about me?" Kane asked, she could hear the hurt in his voice.

"No. Of course I didn't forget about you." Lita was telling the truth. She felt Kane lower one hand to her waist, the other grabbed her neck, enough to keep her in place but no enough to scare her. He was acting as though he owned her, and she wasn't sure if she actually mined which was scaring her. But she was enjoying in in another way. 0Did she really like him that much or was it just lust? He began to kiss her neck, something she hadn't felt in a while now. Something that she didn't know that she had been craving. It was so wrong.

"Good. I couldn't live with that." His warm voice spread onto her neck as she pulled her thighs closer together, embarrassed by what she was allowing him to do to her. Being attracted to him was an understatement. He could just look at her and she would begin pooling between her legs. "Where's Matt?"

"His flight was delayed, but he'll be here soon." Lita felt him moved away from her when she replied. She was sad but thankful that he did. She would hate for Matt to see her in the middle of things with Kane. That's when she knew, even if it hurt her to the core, that she had to stop this. Everything was going perfect with Matt and this would tear them apart. He would never forgive her. Lita fixed her clothes, catching her breath before turning to Kane. She wasn't expecting him to be looking down at her like she was his queen. Lita felt herself blush as how cute he was behaving at the moment. Kane saw her face redden and felt himself become embarrassed by his actions.

"I shouldn't have done that." He said, rubbing his head and over his eyes as if hiding himself rom her.

"No." Lita responded quicker than she had tired to. "I mean, I - It's okay."

"But I know it's not." Kane began.

"Huh?" Lita was puzzled by his statement.

"I know that this will come to nothing in the end. Yet, I continue to keep perusing you." He hung his head down like he was ashamed of himself. "I just can't help myself when I'm around you. I just want to make you mind, because I-" He looked towards he now, this was the first time that she'd ever seen him blushing. "I am in love with you." The looked back at him. Silence was the only thing left in there presence. Neither of them knew who should speak first. Lita decided she should be the first to say something, to tell him that he wasn't the only one that was beginning to feel that way. Even though it was wrong, she couldn't stop herself from thinking of him if she wasn't forcing herself to suppress herself.

"Kane, I -" Suddenly the door opened. Neither of them expecting for Matt to arrive so suddenly.

"Lita, I caught another plane and -" Matt still had his hand on the door knob, trying to find out what was wrong with his girlfriend. Lita was standing there alone in a daze like she'd seen something. "Are you okay?" Lita stepped back, confused before she covered her mouth. Matt stepped towards her, hugging her in his arms.

"Yes, I just thought that -" Then she saw him, standing quietly behind the door that Matt had just opened. She held her breath, seeing Kane raise his finger to his mouth. He motioned for her to keep quiet as he slowly made his way out.

He was silent, but deadly.

Kane sat in his room in the chair close to the window of the hotel room. He had the window blinds open to the dark city that was still so lively. He was holding the liquor in one hand and raised the cigarette to his mouth with the other one and took a long drag before breathing out. He knew it was so wrong, what he was doing. The look that was one her face when she thought they had been discovered was heartbreaking. She love Matt way more than she could ever love him. What had he expected from it anyways. He knew that there was a one in a million chance for her leaving Matt for him. It was a fucking joke to even consider it. Kane took a sip of the whiskey in his hand as he stared out of the window. There was billions of women in the world, one's that were single and would happily get to know him and maybe fall for him with time, so why was he so fixated on her. He felt like he was really a freak. Obsessed with someone that he knew he couldn't have, something he should never fix his mind to even want. He felt his nose begin to burn. Why did this hurt so much? It was the type of pain that medicine couldn't fix. He didn't really know how he was going to get over this. He felt something wet sliding down his face and it began tasting salty when it touched his lips. What the hell was this? Kane sat down his glass and touched where the wetness was seeming to come from. His eyes. Were these tear? He hadn't cried in years. It was taboo to him honestly. Yet this woman was making him cry like a hormone filled teenager wouldn't just broken up with his first girlfriend. But wasn't this just like that? She was the first woman who'd given him the time of day. She wasn't to get to know him, that's why it all began. And now, she was leaving him alone just as he was before. He should have saved himself the heartache, but he was a damn fool like ever other man in the world that had never believed in love. Kane put the cigarette out and leaned his head back, staring at the still ceiling above him. What the fuck was he supposed to do now?
